This is a favorite of mine. Best smoked meat, bbq place. New York steak and eggs, Yum! Much to enjoy. Always friendly staff. Only is on casino. If one cannot deal with cigarette smell walking through casino, this may not be for you. Yet, seriously, make the effort. So delicious. Try salad bar cole slaw, add the dried cranberries, and the potato salad is spectacular. read more

Some food is good, some not so much...it's clean, servers are friendly, it gets a lot of customers. I see most their faces looking happy and satisfied. I suspect there are multiple Chefs/Cooks working here with different skill levels and that's probably why sometimes I've been here its tasted better than other times. I know cooking bbq can be tricky as well...sometimes just the time you showed up during the cooking or cooling process and placing an order will depend if it's good, great or Bleh. I liked the Hot Link Sandwich over the sliced Brisket, but to be perfectly fair I've only tried them both once and the Brisket was less than optimum. I know that I might be surprised and love it next time, if I were to risk ordering it again, but I really wasn't impressed and they served it doused with bbq sauce...that's a camouflaging technique. Great rubbed Brisket really needs no sauce! I think people should be allowed to choose to dip or pour their bbq sauce on themselves as they like. read more

Used to love this place. It USED to have great food for a great price. Recently returned and had a table of 4. The 2 of us that had the salad and soup bar were very underwhelmed with the soup selection. The soups Looked very watery, with floating chucks about, and did not smell the most appetizing. So we opted to stick to salad only. The selection of salad fixings were not super impressive but looked fairly fresh. The ranch salad dressing was good. The bread served with it was extremely dry as well and cold. By the time all was done eating , the 2 of us that had the salad bar were not feeling well at all. Hour later at home we both figured it was food poisoning that set in. It was a very long and miserable night for us both. The ones that ordered the steaks liked their food and was not sick at all. At roadhouse for prime rib you can't have any other side besides potato unless you wanna be charged extra even tho everything else on there dinner menu you can pick n chose what side you want..manager said she doesn't care if you're on specific diet or not they can't can only do potatoes as a side...as far as her being a good manager I beg to differ on a few occasions I brought to her attention besides tonight..our server one night never came back she told us not to use that server anymore.. The next time the clicky girls at cash register never ask how your meal is any more they talk about there lives with the others up there and while giving me my change she didn't count out said I'm gonna go out n get lit on my birthday I can't effing wait.... The pot roast melted in your mouth. The mash potatoes were sooo delicious topped with a gravy that was so flavorful that i could have ordered 10 more sides of it lol. It was served with a side of broccoli cooked perfectly . Our server was very friendly and quick!! read more

Came here in Mother's Day for a quick bite to eat. We wanted something small before we had our Mother's Day dinner at home. Waitress was super friendly. I forgot to get her name but everyone there was friendly. I ended up getting the soup and salad. It's located in the middle of the small casino but it's quiet and not smoky. I was excited to try this location when I was in Pahrump for business. When we walked in, even though we had a large group of 7 people, we were seated really quickly. Our waitress was quick to take our drink and food orders. This is where things started to take a turn. We waited for approximately 1 hour before our food came out. I understand restaurants can get busy and they were busy when we were there, but 1 hour wait time after ordering seems pretty ridiculous. We were limited in the amount of time we could be away from our business location, so we had to quickly eat before returning to work. On the other hand, the food was really good. I had the baked ziti and it was cooked perfectly. Overall, this was not a great experience due to the wait time. Even though it was my first time here, first impressions are important. I probably will not return here in the future. read more

If there were a negative star I would give it. My friend had baked zitti and it was cold. When the second one came out we had already finished dinner...and it was cold too. Then the manager comes out and says the cheese they put on it is cold and she did eat half of it. Really it was $7 people...and they were regulars there!!! read more

Stopped in specifically for the chicken fried steak on our way home from a Vegas weekend. Place was clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. Chicken fried steak is handmade and takes a little longer to prep, and unfortunately our order wasn't put in with the cooks timely. After 30 min our food came out, and our server apologized for the long wait and said our meal was comped. The manager also came to our table promptly to apologize and reiterate that they were taking care of our bill for the day because of their error. We really appreciated their sincere apology and swift response to rectify the matter once they realized what had happened. One of my favorite restaurants in Pahrump. It's not too smoky once you walk through Terribles casino and are seated in Moonshiners dining room. I love their Smash burger with fries and a side of macaroni and cheese. The burger is big, flat and smashed , just the way I love a burger. Their macaroni and cheese is pretty darn cheesy and the fries usually have some sort of spice sprinkled on top that's tasty. As an avid deal seeker, I had low expectations of service and food when we first arrived for who I later learned was the hostess was leaning on the counter did not acknowledge us and we had to walk behind register to grab our own menu, but was wowed by the value and quality of the menu at the Roadhouse..we started with shrimp cocktails, followed by the biggest steak stuffed potato, I had best cooked and tasting porterhouse steak and two side dinner that was under $13, our server was attentive and knew her menu, the manager even stopped by our table at our request so we could give our praise on his cooks and crew. Since we are allowed to park our camper van in some casinos lot for free, we like to support their restaurant. Often times we are disappointed in other casinos but are happy to report that expectations were surpassed here at Terribles! To start with we had great service and delicious homemade onion rings followed by great bbq pork and ribs. The fries were delicious. I've ate here a couple of times when I made trips to Pahrump from Las Vegas for softball. I haven't experienced any issues with the service or the food yet. We normally go and eat late at night being that its 24 hours and they have a cheap shrimp cocktail that is bomb but I really enjoy that Barbeque Burger that they have to offer. I've always experienced exceptional customer service during the graveyard shift so I am unsure about how long the wait is during the day or what the customer service is like but I haven't had an issue yet which is what this review is based on. The value is decent against the quality of the food I've seen some other places in Pahrump way over priced for the quality of food they bring out to your table but this seems to be a decent value! This is located inside of a casino so the parking is awesome as its easy to find a spot and they have plenty of space for you to choose from. This place also seems very modern for Pahrump. read more

This time, the Sausage Hot Link looked bad and tasted worse (brought home in doggie bag as we thought it must be dog food. Dog said, "Thanks, but no thanks."). Coffee was cold. Asked for hot coffee. Took 20 minutes and was cold again! Fries were burnt and frozen?! Burger was okay. Chicken Fried Steak chewy and cold in middle. No refills on drinks. We waited about 1 hour and 5 minutes just to be seated. After a while we noticed that they were skipping over us on the list because they didn't ask if we were willing to take a different type of table. We noticed that they were giving full booths to 2 person parties rather than giving them half booths to preserve space. After we've been seated we waited an additional 20 minutes, this was behind the table that was next to us who sat after we did and ordered before we did, and we were ready to order. Moonshiners has been my go to for several years. Went tonight ans it has been taken off of the list for now. My wife ordered a burger *(medium well) and fries. First off at least the burger wasn't bleeding but was more to the medium rare side of medium vs the medium well side. The fries though, what a hot mess. They were saturated with grease and many were hard, as though they had been dropped back into (not hot) grease about 3 too many times. When the waitress took them back she returned with the same fries saying they had just come out of the fryer. I had a medium rare smashburger that I am not quite sure was smashed but rather a regular burger patty macerated with the end of a spatula while it was cooking. My onion rings were greasy, much like the fries. On the bright side, the salad bar wasn't a disaster and the honey mustard dressing was pretty good for having come from some restaurant supply place. I will go back but it probably won't be for 6 or more months. I will have to get this bad taste out of my mouth first. read more

Love the meals @ Terribles Roadhouse! The brisket, pulled pork, and fried catfish are the best you can find around. Not even a new barbecue restaurant in town is close to having the flavor in their food that Terribles has! Oh, did I mention the macaroni and cheese is yummy too? Then, if I have room or not, I always order the bread pudding. It is one of the best I have ever had! So nice and moist, with a luscious rum sauce. It is just too big to eat @ one sitting, but no problem, the great waitresses will bring you a container and some extra rum sauce to take home with you. It is just as good warmed and eaten the next day, as is the brisket or pulled pork, since there's always too much. Kudos to all the staff also. The hostesses are always so friendly and helpful, just as each waitress is. One thing that is extra nice is how they step in to help each other too. read more

Was here for lunch 12/31/21! I had the smash burger which was very good but the fries were so greasy as if they were fried twice. My husband had the chopped brisket sandwich which was awful, at least half of it was chopped fat (disgusting) the bread was soaked in butter and his fries also very greasy, the coleslaw was not eatable! Found this place on the way home. We were starving. Firs of all, this is the casino, and inside the casino this café is located. The reviews did not lie. The food is amazingly good and cheap. I ordered all you can eat soup and salad for just $6.99. There are three types of salads and two types of soups. Chicken noodle and clam chowder. I do not usually like chicken noodle soup, but decided to try. I was surprised. It was really yummy. The clam chowder is really restaurant quality. and you can refill as many times as you desire. However, the soups are really filling. I ate a bowl of clam chowder and did not finished the noodle and I was filled and satisfied. I only tried the coleslaw salad, which I did not like, but I think It is every once preference. This place is no crowded at all. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and ae both got coffee. His burger was really HUGE and delicious. We paid for all of it $19.32. Really inexpensive and really good. read more
