When I'm in NJ and I need a good breakfast before work I stop by Moore's. Their bagel selection, customer service, and food are all amazing. I've been here twice and both times I got a bagel (meet and cheese) sandwich. I've also purchased their coffee. I have not been disappointed! The bagels are a really great find. Great job with hi TY and fresh bagels! A welcome change from the previous bagel shop that felt more like a mob hang out! My only complaint is that the kids he has in the kitchen continue to mess up my sandwich. I get the toasted everything sausage egg and cheese sandwich with the egg runny. Instead they constantly don't toast the bagel and don't make the egg as requested!! Its getting old !! The owner is great and very cordial ,friendly and welcoming but he needs to get his staff paying attention to the details! I was a long time customer when I lived in the area previously. I was returning from the airport and coming down Rt 70 so I thought it would be great to stop in for bagels and a crumb cake. When I walked in the store it was empty, but I was impressed by the number of employes. However, the employees in the front counter were in a huddle talking. I ordered from Two employees 4 bagels and a crumb cake. I payed cash and left a tip in the tip jar. Upon arriving home to my dismay they left out the crumb cake from this simple order. I proceeded to call to let them know and asked for the manager. When I began to explain what happened he assaulted me with profane language and proceeded to threaten me if I ever came back to his store. I should and May file a police report with the Marlton Police Dept. I don't know what happened to the previous management/owner, but they were the friendliest people. So I love trying bagels at different local places. This one was review worthy. There was a line of people out the door but the line moved quickly. I was in and out in about 10 min. I think most likely because I didn't order a sandwich that required cooking (like egg or bacon). The bagel was soft and delicious. I was very happy with the amount of lox and cream cheese I got for the price. It was overflowing! My pet peeve is when there is so little filling you can only really taste the bagel; not the case here. The tomato was fresh. My only negative thought was that the lox wasn't the best I ever had but for a bagel that cost me $8.50 with tax, it was perfect. I will be back! read more

My rating is based off of order accuracy. They were busy so they were not answering the phone. I went to the store and ordered 4 bagels. I asked if they had scrapple since it was not on the menu and he said yes. I ordered 2 scrapple, egg white and cheese sandwiches and two other sandwiches. Some of the best bagels in New Jersey. The bagel Chief was closing early and out of my favorite- Everything bagel- but made an inside out Everything with all the seeds and spices added to the cheese. I was in good hands until Mount Royal Bagels closed and sent my world back into a tailspin. With the opening of Moore Bagels a breath of fresh air to the bagel scenery has been restored in the Marlton area. The owners are friendly and really making an effort to become that establishment that not only serves the individual, but the entire community. They take the time to converse and get to know each and every customer that walks through the door. You feel the warm vibes the minute you walk into the store via the décor, and the staff. The bagels are some of the best bagels I have had anywhere. You know you are getting quality bagels the minute that aroma hits you, and second you take your first bite. In addition to the bagels, the breakfast sandwiches also stand out. My wife's favorite sandwich is the evesham without cream-cheese. The amount of lox on that sandwich is amazing compared to the inexpensive price. On my second visit I kept it simple and ordered a toasted egg bagel with bacon and egg. I always have to specify that I don't want any runny yoke when ordering from these establishments. I received my sandwich just the way I like it without uttering a single request. Beware of hidden up charges for a piece of romaine lettuce, slab of onion, slice of tomato....if asked if you want mayo it will cost you $.50. Nowhere on the menu is this stated, so you would have no idea until you pay or check your receipt. While I do enjoy the specialty sandwiches, I find this to be very dishonest. In my opinion available upon request is different from available for an additional cost. I ordered a whitefish salad w/ lettuce, tomato, onion, my $7.99 sandwich became $9.50? This morning I ordered the Cherokee, was told they were out of salami (no biggie), was asked if I wanted mayo (sure)...$.50 suprise charge. You dont even have all the ingredients to make the sandwich, but I'm charged $.50 for mayo, which I have at home in the fridge?! Just be aware that these little add ons are extra. Been going to Moore Bagels for over a year. Best bagels. Fantastic sandwiches. Great service. If it weren't for my most recent experience all I would have is raves. BUT one of the employees who is making sandwiches and serving customers was ONLY wearing a shield today. All other employees are wearing masks and always have been since COVID. This person had a shield on but no mask. It doesn't work that way! You can ADD a shield when wearing a mask. But a shield does not REPLACE the wearing of a mask! Seriously unacceptable! The open bottom of her shield is over the food she is preparing. Where do you think those droplets are going? Very sad to have to give up my absolute go-to for the best bagels in South Jersey and beyond. But unless I see a response here from the owner that this won't happen again ~ I'm out. read more

I am a bit of a bagel snob since I am originally from North Jersey and this is probably the only bagel place in South Jersey I've happily returned to over and over. The bagels are pretty good and the flavored creamcheese is absolutely delicious. They get busy but they handle the crowd very well. I think people are fooled by the atmosphere and friendly staff and don't know what real bagels are supposed to taste like. They're more dry and "bready" than NY style bagels.
