We had a rather inconsistent experience the last time we came here. We brought an out of town co worker to grab a latte hoping for some kind of foam art we raved about and all of our drinks came out without any designs. When we asked the baristas why this time they didn't put any kind of design onto our lattes they were kind of shocked we called them out on it. The next latte they brought out that happened to be my horchata latte had a cute design of a dog. Still was disappointed that my coworker who we wanted to introduce to this place wasn't able to get her own creation. The drinks here are pretty solid and aren't ridiculously expensive when you compare to some other coffee joints in the area. Plus their little wooden tables and frida kahlo decorations are super traditional and show off their Mexican flair! read more

This location is on Stewart Street within walking distance of the original location. If I'm in a hurry and am grabbing a drink to go, I stop here. If I want to sit, I go to the other location. This shop has a more modern feel to it. It has a few seats but is definitely not as welcoming as the other location. There is a great picture of Frieda Kahlo on the ceiling. The drink quality is the same that I've experienced at the other location and by far, my favorite drink is the taro latte, which is a bit sweeter than I like but the flavor is what I'm after. My back up drink is a matcha latte which is always done to perfection. Make no mistake, they also do cute latte art here. I'll bring out of town friends and family here, get a drink, watch them "ooh" and "aah" over the latte art, then we'll put lids on our cups and be on our way. read more

I stated in my last review that Moore Coffee has the BEST coffee in Seattle- so much so that one of my top reasons to visit again from California was to drink their coffee. That statement is still true- HOWEVER their customer service could not be WORSE. They were randomly closed during opening hours, and I called the cafe a few times while I'm standing outside. 10 minutes later, they're open again and the older woman working snaps at me when I politely ask what their hours are, and if I should come back later if they're busy. The credit card system breaks down, and instead of trying to fix it, she tells me to pay cash (who carries cash during covid)? Cherry on top is when she yells at me to take my coffee to go as I try to take a quick photo of it with my mask on... I'm trying to support my favorite coffee shop, not get yelled at at 8:30am. Only reason I didn't give this a 1 star is because their coffee is still amazing. Hopefully she was just having a bad day. I will be back, but please train your employees. read more

I've always went to their original location on 2nd and Stewart, but this location is good for Togo's since the other location can get pretty busy. This location is also pretty smaller, meant for Togo's mostly. I sometimes sit here to study and drink their Madrid, which is a creamy sweet latte. Their latte arts are also always so cute! The arts are also based off holiday theme as well, which I think is a cool idea. Their sweet waffles are also decent as well, and they also put cute designs on them as well. What an adorable, local coffee shop! I stopped in the other morning while I was waiting for my puppy to get groomed up the street. I needed some caffeine in my life. I walked past a nearby Starbucks and a few local cafes that had super-long lines and lots of people inside. I really wasn't looking to hit up some super-trendy, overly-busy spot with tons of people to get through. And I certainly wasn't feeling any lines. That's when I stumbled upon Moore Coffee! There were two customers waiting, but otherwise, it was empty. Upbeat, Latin music was lightly bumping in the background while the two baristas worked hard (while making it look effortless, of course) behind the counter. I saw two lattes come out with the cutest art on top! And while that ALMOST made me switch my order (so I could get some cuteness, too) I stuck to my chai latte with coconut milk. While I waited for my tea, I noticed they have a fixture on the wall that held all their regular customers' frequent purpose punch cards organized in alphabetical order. So, when you walk up to make your order, you can just grab your card. It just screams "neighborhood coffee shop" and gave me all the warm fuzzies. The baristas were not only efficient but extremely kind and just the perfect amount of chatty. As regular customers came and went, I could see that they knew the baristas well and seeing the interactions made for a very home-like, comforting experience. My chai was delicious. Came here over the weekend and unfortunately my boyfriend got VERY sick from their Diablo coffee. He eats hot food, all the time. 24/7. Unfortunately, within an hour or so after drinking that he was in the bathroom for 3-4 hours straight, and it was awful. His face showed it all on the car ride home, I've never seen him look so uncomfortable/in pain. He said he's never been in that much pain from spicy food. Could be his body, although, like I said, he eats spicy food 24/7, but I wouldn't recommend the Diablo latte. That being said, I got a taro latte and it was fantastic. Hence the 3 stars. read more

Wow I am SO happy I came here. The coffee is so so delicious. I tried the crema de leche latte with oatmilk. Holy moly, I could have that everyday. It was a perfect mix of coffee and milk. Not all their lattes have coffee so make sure the one you are ordering does. They have 2 locations, the bigger one has really tasty waffles and a picturesque atmosphere. I love that it has a Latin twist to it and you can't go wrong with the super adorable latte art. Definitely a must when you are in downtown seattle. This coffee spot is right across the street from my apartment. It's a sister cafe to the larger units on either side of the Moore Hotel. I like this mini-Moore due to the consistent/friendly staff, great craftsmanship when it comes to the espresso drinks and a good vibe with the chosen decor. Most others have pointed out the latin music and "Mexican Super Bars" and that's what makes it even more charming. On the outside, it could easily be judged as a hipster owned and ran but that is bay far not the case. This crew genuinely seems to like working here and appreciates their guests. My biggest knock is when they are more than three parties waiting and the space gets cramped and waits are quite long. If they can address at least the wait part, I would gladly upgrade them to five stars. read more
