I wish this place was able to have some more marketing because it is super cute on the inside and you can't even notice it much from the outside. It's a lot bigger than you would think with plenty of tables to sit and have coffee with friends or even just do some work for a bit. It's a nice place very trendy. It was very clean. My go to is usually a caramel macchiato, but they don't have caramel. I got an iced vanilla latte, the staff member said that they make the syrups there themselves. It was good not as sweet as I would like it to be, but I'm used to caramel. I also got a lemon crumb cake warmed up. I would not suggest getting it again. It was very dry, and the top had coconut on it, which was very crispy which also made it dry. The staff member was super nice & helpful since I was not used to the city. He helped me find places I could go. Overall a great find!

LOVED the miel here! I don't see this drink on menus often, so I was super excited to see it here. Inside was also very nice, and the service was great. Will definitely be coming back!

I love black arrows. What a great addition to the neighborhood. It's truly become our favorite coffee shop in SEA. Service: Friendly and welcoming staff, skilled baristas Creative and innovative, especially around Halloween where they put pumpkin spice lattes in mini pumpkins Owners Daniel and Nikole are fantastic and super knowledgeable about coffee Ambiance: Quiet and welcoming vibe Relaxing atmosphere with displays of local artists Food/Coffee: Excellent nitro cold brew, matcha, and specialty coffees Delicious pastries, with a special mention for the chocolate chip banana bread, breakfast sandwich, and avocado toast

Been coming since they first opened and, it truly has become one of my favorite cafes in the area. I love the layout of the space and the ambiance. I often come here to get work done when I need to get out of the apartment. I am a huge fan of their cafe con miel and love their pastries too. Definitely recommend getting a cafe con miel and conche to dip in! I also just love how they do cuppings and have events in their cafe; feels very community oriented and friendly.

Stylish, Clean Interior, good for working, good amount of seating. Great iced Matcha Latte ($5.50). Friendly Staff. Overall a solid choice for a coffee shop work session :)

Got some triple chocolate pistachio and cocoa drink. The place is inside City University of Seattle but there's no access to the school like before. The location is pretty convenient and staff were very friendly.

Loved this spot. Single origin espresso option. Open at 7a. Friendly barista with great service. Plenty of seating for working or relaxing or meeting with a friend/coworker. Go here for your fourth wave coffee fix!

Hidden in plain sight Black Arrows Coffee on 5th & Battery is my new "go to" for a neighborhood coffee shop. Clean and modern but still comfortable with a good mix of background music and a friendly staff. Mya makes a great latte and conversation!

very friendly staff, I sincerely recommend it, delicious and useful, thank you

I visited the coffee shop today. The coffee was smooth and very tasty. The bun was crispy and sweet. The service was provided by a pleasant and smiling girl, Yulia. and the whole team is very friendly . I am pleased with my visit to this establishment and recommend it! The atmosphere in the establishment is cozy, warm and pleasant!

Coffee was amazing. I got Valentine's Day special coffee. I like the way it was not serve in plastic cups. Staff is very sweet. Ambiance is good. Good amount of place to sit. You can find sofa, chairs, big table for big group.

They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged. I highly recommend trying it out at least once. All in all, highly recommend! Please go try Tilikum Place Cafe!

The arboretum-inspired interior creates a warm, inviting space that's perfect whether you're meeting friends, getting some work done, or simply taking a break from the day. While I ultimately decided that I'm still a fan of the classic mocha, I'm glad I tried it--it made for a unique coffee experience. Another nice surprise is that Hagen also has a full bar, so it's a great place to return later in the day if you're in the mood for a cocktail instead of coffee. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, making the experience even more enjoyable. Between the excellent coffee, creative drink offerings, beautiful interior, and relaxed atmosphere, Hagen Café is a place I'd happily recommend to anyone looking for a unique café experience in Seattle. I ordered the Pork N' Bitch, which came with biscuits as the base, smothered in sausage gravy and topped with plenty of shredded cheese and bacon bits. The portion was huge and enough to feed two people. I only managed to eat half, and it kept me full for about eight hours. This is definitely a heavy and hearty meal. As for the taste, it was delicious and very savory. The biscuit was soft, and the bacon bits added a nice crispy texture. My only complaint is that I wish there had been more gravy. I also didn't really taste any sausage in the gravy. I was expecting more of a traditional Southern-style sausage gravy, but the flavor was a bit different from what I'm used to. This is more of a take out spot, as there isn't any indoor dining. Fortunately, it's located near the Pike's Marketplace, so I recommend taking your food for a walk toward the waterfront and finding a nice place to enjoy your meal. One funny thing was that I was expecting the person taking my order to greet me with, "Good morning, bitch! What can I get you?" Instead, he called me "sweetheart." LOL. Maybe he could tell I wasn't a local.
