Forgot to snap a pic because I was running late. The strawberry matcha was meh. I wouldn't order it again. My drink took a good 10-15 minutes which used up all of my work break unfortunately. I wouldn't come back in a time crunch and I'd def order something else. The staff person was friendly though. Not really many places to sit when busy and it's a bit noisier but I was getting to go anyways. read more

I wish this place was able to have some more marketing because it is super cute on the inside and you can't even notice it much from the outside. It's a lot bigger than you would think with plenty of tables to sit and have coffee with friends or even just do some work for a bit. It's a nice place very trendy. It was very clean. My go to is usually a caramel macchiato, but they don't have caramel. I got an iced vanilla latte, the staff member said that they make the syrups there themselves. It was good not as sweet as I would like it to be, but I'm used to caramel. I also got a lemon crumb cake warmed up. I would not suggest getting it again. It was very dry, and the top had coconut on it, which was very crispy which also made it dry. The staff member was super nice & helpful since I was not used to the city. He helped me find places I could go. Overall a great find! read more

Been coming since they first opened and, it truly has become one of my favorite cafes in the area. I love the layout of the space and the ambiance. I often come here to get work done when I need to get out of the apartment. I am a huge fan of their cafe con miel and love their pastries too. Straight to the point, quality control needs to be addressed. I ordered a drip which was quickly served from the dispenser. Sitting down and drinking, it was lukewarm and had obviously been sitting there a *long* time. Put a timer on the cannister and dump what ieft when it is no longer hot, however long that is. Partner was happy with a cappuccino, the cinnamon roll was just ok. Seating was comfortable. Would not return. read more

I walked here two blocks down from my hotel and absolutely loved their coffee. I ended up buying their espresso beans after ordering an iced americano because the espresso was just that good! The guy who I ordered from was very nice and I felt welcomed as someone visiting from California. Their bacon Brie pastry was amazing as well! Black Arrows Coffee is easily one of my favorite coffee spots in Seattle. They have two great locations: one in Belltown and a coffee cart at Pacific Place downtown. The Belltown location is cozy, with a welcoming ambiance and nice music. It's the perfect spot to sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee, and get some work done on my computer. I love spending time there, as it feels relaxing and comfortable. The Pacific Place coffee cart is super convenient and always a friendly experience. It's a great use of free time to stop by, grab a cup of coffee, and chat with their team. They are always so kind and engaging, and I've had some really good conversations while stopping there. Their specialty coffee is amazing. My favorites are the Condor Decaf and Guava Banana. I also love their every-two-weeks coffee subscription, which perfectly fits my coffee needs. I originally gave this place a 5 star because I had such good service the first I came but I guess it was when they weren't busy. I came again on a busy Sunday morning and they took nearly 30 minutes to make my order of 2 lattes and a pastry. When I asked about my order the lady was flippant and just said "Yeah it's coming we had like 50 orders". I want to come back here because it's so close to my place but with this service when it's busy I don't think I'll be back. read more

One of the best coffee shops I've been to. Had an Ethiopian pour over and it was served in a thermal Hario server, so it was well over two cups, and it kept it hot. The design and furniture of the place is excellent, and they have great looking pastries too, although I didn't try one. $19 for a coffee and pastry is already expensive. But the pastry was terrible - I'd have preferred a plastic wrapped, mass produced option to what I got. The coffee is fine but there are plenty of other coffee shops nearby with better prices and better food options. Dahlia is just a few blocks south. read more

Went to grab some breakfast here. I ordered an oat milk vanilla latte with light ice, a "turkey bacon" croissant and I split a danish with my partner. The coffee was pretty decent, I had asked for light ice but I don't think they heard that part since my drink was half ice :( I was under the impression that my croissant would be made of turkey bacon but it was actually turkey AND (pork) bacon. I don't consume pork so I was a little upset about that. The danish was not it, it looked appetizing through the glass but once I took a bite I wasn't a fan. read more

I've been a regular at this place since they opened and every time I arrive they still act like they've never seen me before in their life. Some of the most indifferent people I've ever been served by in this city. When I first started coming, they told me they'd be featuring vegan pastries soon but I have never once seen any in the case. The coffee is good but not the best in Seattle, by a long shot. The last time I was in, someone was allowed to let their dog walk around the cafe without a leash, and it came up to my table sniffing for food. Another dog was barking loudly. I've tried SO hard to like this place but it's becoming less and less worth the trip to the edge of Belltown. read more

They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The chowder alone isn't enough to carry a $60+ meal. Would I come back? Maybe for a cup of chowder at the bar. Not for the full experience.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
