The Coffee Thief is a bit on the sweeter side, but the employee mentioned it is the least sweet drink in the blended series so imagine how sweet the other drinks are! However, it was creamy and filling. It is a good drink to get on a hot summer day. This place is self-serve with water available. There is good amount of seating, but it can be a bit unwelcoming with the bird poop that is scattered around a lot of the windows, but the windows and the ambience could be pretty inviting without this element. First visit here, since I've only visited Herkimer Coffee at the Phinney Ridge and University District locations. Closes by 2pm weekdays, so niche customers are work regulars, hotel guests, and passersby on 4th Avenue. This is more of a stop and go location. There are indoor counters for quick stand up imbibing, note no indoor seating, kind of tight. There's marked outdoor seating by the office building entrance. Mobility accessibility, unsure with the stairs out front from the sidewalk. Nice selection of merch, coffee roasts, pastries, and beverages. I opted for a 16oz mocha, standard two shot, complete with nice latte art noted before I placed a lid on. Pleasant counter barista too. Thankfully no hipster attitude, but of course, with tax & tip at a premium Seattle price. I appreciated the temperature and flavor, balanced with more coffee than chocolate.
