This is in a slightly safer area of Downtown Seattle compared to their other location. Same deal, very small cafe, maybe about 3 tables with high chairs. It is honestly a bit cramp, but the coffee is just like crack, it's tasty and you get a cute latte art along with it. This shop is tiny, but the baristas not only brew up a lovely cup of coffee, they also have fun with the foam on top. We popped in because we were craving a Spanish Latte, which we haven't had since our last trip to Vancouver. We each ordered one (small for me, large for him), and sat down at one of three open tables in the main area. And there were really only 3 seating areas there - I said this shop is tiny! I think I might have clapped and giggled when we got our cups. It was October, so I was absolutely delighted to see a pumpkin in my foam, and a ghost - saying "boo!" in his. It was stinkin' adorable! While we sat there consuming our incredibly tasty (and spot-on, from what we remembered) Spanish Lattes, another couple came in and ordered. I watched them smile and chat about the art that was on top of their drinks, and of course had to ask what they'd gotten (and compare ours, too!) The woman got a cat, and the man got a dog. SO so cute! They did get busy as we sat there, so we grabbed a few to-go lids and headed back out into the day. We did want to go back one more time before we left the city, but just ran out of time. It took 3 tries to get a latte from Moore, but I'm glad I got to try it before leaving Seattle. Originally I went to their other location on Saturday morning, but their coffee machine was broken. I went to this location right after, but they weren't open even though their Yelp and website hours said they would be. On Monday I came back "an hour before closing" but again, their hours are inaccurate online so it was actually 10 minutes before closing. They offer a wide variety of lattes and have fun & unique flavors like horchata, taro (I actually think it's ube), and turmeric. I was set on the ube latte because I've never seen that before. It was nutty and sweet, so I couldn't taste any espresso. It was personally too sweet for how I like my lattes, but it was still good! If I ever get a chance to come back though I'd get something else. But look at their cute as heck latte art! Huge shoutout to the girl holding down the fort by herself, taking AND making orders. There was a large group in front of me, someone with an online order, 2 people after me and she kept her cool the whole time and STILL managed to put out amazing latte art for each drink. Remember, this is all 10 minutes before closing too. Worth a shot coming here if you like lattes, but be patient and don't be surprised if they're randomly closed. read more

Great iced tea; Mango Black! But here's why I'm posting this. The staff are incredibly patient and kind. A young (and it appeared to me) recently-made-homeless person came in while I was there. She was trepidatious about even being there, but it was approaching 80º today, and fresh water isn't exactly available to our friends just trying to get from one day to the next. The staff at Moore Coffee Shop gave the young woman not only a a big cup, but one full of ice and water. I thanked her for being kind. I've seen more than a few people in businesses get homeless people to leave their establishments, and some have been outright rude and threatening. I'll tell ya what right now: I might not like seeing how we're not doing well enough to protect and care for all of our neighbors, but I like even less abject rudeness that borders precipitously on hatred toward another human being. And yet-----those businesses will gladly refill dishes both inside and out for dogs to drink out of. Makes no sense to me that both can't be cared for compassionately. That does not describe the Moore Coffee Shop, nor the people who work there. On behalf of billionaires the penniless in Seattle, thank you for your kindness. I won't forget it the next time I'm in downtown Seattle and would like some great mango black iced tea and the display of humane treatment of less-privileged humans. Go to Moore Coffee Shop. Cute latte art and visually pleasing drinks, but beyond the aesthetics the actual quality and taste did not impress me. Ordered a latte with soy milk and it tasted bland with barely any espresso flavor shining through and definitely wasn't very strong in comparison to other lattes I've had from other cafes in the area. The taro latte was cloyingly sweet, unpleasant to even have a sip of. If I were to just rate based on pretty latte art they'd easily score high... but for someone as coffee obsessed as I am, I value utility and quality more than the visual appeal of the cute art and this place really fell flat, disappointing in taste and strength. These barista's have amazing talent the artwork they draw on The coffee is super cute. You order your drink and it comes with a surprise Drawing. You must let them know ahead of time if you want your coffee in a coffee mug. I loved the set up of the coffee shop very homie and brightly decorated. They are pretty popular for the waffles as well I wasn't able to try it but looked really good. I bought a dulce de lech latte tasted really good not super sweet just perfect. Moore Coffee Shop is so cool! I randomly decided to come here because I was shopping at a store nearby, but I fell in love with it immediately! The location on Stewart street is pretty small, but their two other locations look a lot bigger (2nd Ave or Burien). This place is open during COVID-19 for carryout only. I love the menu because you can get really fun coffee drinks like a Horchata Latte, Nutella Mocha, Mexican Mocha, Tumeric Latte, etc. I ordered their Taro Purple Latte and it was delicious. You could definitely taste the taro and it wasn't too sweet. The baristas here also do some really cute latte art, so that is a fun added bonus. I would definitely come here again. Seattle is a city built on coffee. Starbucks started here and around downtown Seattle you'll likely find a SB every few blocks in all directions. There are also numerous coffee roasters and independent cafes throughout. After playing tourist at Pike Place Market on a sunny, but chilly Christmas Eve we stumbled onto Moore Coffee for a break. The shop is really tiny with limited seating and just two workers. I liked the quirky art decorations, which includes an impressive overhead banner showing looking like Frieda Kahlo with a bleeding heart. Also impressive were the unique drink offerings - Horchata Lattes, Nutella Lattes, even Mexican Spicy Hot Chocolate. The 8oz Cafe Madrid was a Spanish-style latte which to me was strong yet very creamy and smooth. The barista also showed some serious art skills! They also sell a very robust and strong Americano for under $3, any size. Definitely recommend Moore's among Seattle's downtown coffee places, especially for the quality of their drinks. A coffee shop with super aesthetic latte art -- beyond that, I wasn't super impressed with the taste of the drinks nor did I enjoy the ambience too much. The coffee shop is super crowded and noisy, and while the art is admittedly super cute, I can't say I liked any of the 3 drinks I tried that much (especially for the prices I paid for each of them...). (Picture below) I tried the turmeric latte (yellow), taro latte (purple), and the nutella latte (brown). This location has limited seating but just enough for two. I ordered a latte and my friend ordered a cold brew and we munched on our Top Pot donuts from across the street. I loved the cute bunny latte art on my latte! I always appreciate when a barista takes the time to add her touch, whether or not they were tipped (I did tip). Tasted pretty standard, overall. Comes with a small piece of chocolate - reminds me of one other coffee shop that did that for me in NYC. The cold brew was strong and smooth. Looking back at other rave reviews now, I'll definitely need to come back for the pastries (CHURROS!!?!) and of course, more latte art. Stopped by this afternoon for a quick pick me up java style before my show at The Moore Theater. This charming boutique espresso shop with darling baristas is what I encountered and impressed me as to why you should always drink from local business's. She made me the perfect cappuccino I've consumed in ages, plus she included a nice bite size piece of chocolate which was a nice touch. You don't get that type of service from corporate behemoths like Starbucks. I tip my hat to you lady's for making my afternoon pick me up a special one. We heard that Seattle is the heart of coffee shops! Since we are going to Pike place for the first stop, we decided to pick a coffee shop nearby to begin our day and that's how we ended up at Moore. It is located right at the corner around Pike Place, which is the ideal location for us. We absolutely love the design and the vibe of Moore. It is quite unique in a sense that it is boutique, warm and infused with Mexican/American fusion culture in there! We tried the signature Mexican Mocha and the Taro Purple Latte! I love the Taro one while I found the Mexican one intriguing but I am just not a big fan of adding spice or cinnamon in coffee! Overall, an refreshing experience for sure! read more

These guys/gals make the best latte art in Seattle! I'm always so excited to see what they make whenever I order my latte. So far, I've gotten Charlie Brown and Snoopy, Shrek, and a Bear. This Moore Coffee is a newer outpost. The original coffee shop is next to the Moore Theater and this new shop is just around the corner. I'm assuming they opened this shop to help with the overflow from the original, but it could most likely be another reason. Anyways, when you walk in here, it's cozier with only a couple tables. It's mainly a place to drink your coffee or take it to go with your grab and go food. If you're looking for a place to plop down for several hours and work, this might not be the best coffee shop. As I mentioned above, I usually get a latte here. However, you can choose from regular, taro, or matcha. I don't know a lot of places that can do a Taro latte. I just love the purple color from the latte. It just makes the design pop. The best part of my latte is definitely the piece of chocolate that accompanies my latte. Perfect compliment to my drink. If you want to go to a tourist trap or be engulfed by the crowd, go to the Moore Coffee Shop on 2nd Ave. However, if you want to enjoy a cup of joe with some awesome designs, go to this one. Here's hoping you don't get a duplicate design on your latte. read more

The detailed artwork done with foam on top was such an adorable addition. I would still order the lattes here even if there was no artwork because the taste itself was wonderful.
