(I already had the code so I knew what was wrong). They said sure so I left them my truck and had them do the work. About 4 hours later they called me and said it was done! The bill came to $721. I gladly paid them and couldn't thank them enough for fixing my truck. These guys know what there doing and I'm as happy as a lark. Plus Im sure I saved allot of money not having to take it to the dealer. Probably could have done it myself but my time is worth more than the $115 hourly rate they charged. The dealer Larson Dodge wants $170 for a diagnostic fee right up front. Even though I had already told them what was wrong. There is mostly 2 parts that could fail. The grid heater relay or the grid heater. Unfortunately both mine were bad, but now there fixed. Thanks again for the great work and fair price. I was referred to Golf Car Services by a guy I bought some golf cart parts from on Craigslist…read morebecause I needed some electrical wiring work done and some other engine work (timing adjustment and valve spring upgrades). Rob assured me he could get it done, and after a month or so they said the work was done. From what I can tell, the job was done as requested but I've been unable to road test it sufficiently because during my first road test yesterday, the transmission began making horrible grinding noises and now the cart cannot be driven. In addition, they replaced the starter solenoid for some reason with an aftermarket solenoid that froze and no longer functions. The original solenoid may have been old, but it worked fine and I did not ask them to replace it. I asked Rob for the part number of the replacement they installed and he said he did not know. I asked for info on an OEM part and he suggested I look on eBay or Amazon. So in summary, if you have a golf cart and you like to waste your money on nonsense, talk to Rob. GCS never offered to warranty their work, I dropped $500 on the work they did, never received an itemized work order even after requesting one, no receipt for cash paid, and now I have to spend another $86 on an OEM solenoid and get the transmission repaired.
