Watch the game, chat up a local at the bar. Get a red beer. If you have never had one its your favorite light or medium beer with tomato juice. I like mine with Clamato and lime. This place is a staple of Kalispell. Old school wooden Swinging Doors, saw dust on the floor, names carved and written all over the inside of the building which is really cool. Very dimly lit but that's nice if you are not wanting Bright Lights directly above you. Majority of people absolutely love their Pizza. Thinner slightly chewy crust and your usual pizzas. Their sandwiches are very good also I personally like The Missoulian. The prices are reasonable and the staff is funny and down to earth and has the old school vibe. The food and the beer here are incredible. Don't let anybody tell you it's just another pizza and sandwich place because they would be lying. This place has more character than Most. It also has plenty of beers on tap to for everybody's needs. If beer is not your thing they also have sodas and wine. There is plenty of parking. Be sure to bring cash. They do not except credit cards or debit cards but they do have a freestanding ATM machine inside. Don't be scared off by the peanut shells and sawdust on the floor it's just part of the character of the pub. One last very important detail, they have beer for 2.25 for a very large goblet! Came here twice in a week and between my friend and I we tried two sandwiches and three pizzas. All were excellent. This place's pizza is better than most dedicated pizza parlors. We walked in to a dark, very rustic bar and sat down at a table. After about 10 minutes of sitting with no one even looking at us, we realized we had to go to a window and order our food. It's hidden in a corner of the bar. Then we had to go to the bar to order our drinks. It took about 20 minutes to get our order. The pizza was good but the overall experience was not the best. Came here after a long day of hiking in the park. We mainly came here for the Montana vibe as they literally have hay floors but we're pleasantly surprised by this place. I wish I got a picture of the pizza but we made our own with bacon, peppers and onions. The pizza was great , thin crust with cheesy toppings. The beers were 2-3 $ we were in shock!! This is an iconic place in my home town. I've been frequenting this establishment for over 50 years. It's a MUST VISIT if your visiting our town. It's been around forever and it never changes. It's a picturesque old town saloon complete with a dark atmosphere and sawdust on the floor. (Probably don't want to wear open toe shoes) You'll get a great beer variety in a frosty scoop mug and you can still buy it by the pitcher. Now if your looking for pizza THIS IS THE PLACE! I know pizza is very subjective to personal taste but if you ask the locals that have been around here for years they'll 99% agree it's the best in town if not the best they've ever had. They also make a great sandwich and you can get a salad as well. While you wait for your pizza you can get a basket of peanuts and crack then open and drop the shells on the floor! read more

We come to Moose's for the pizza; it's one of our favorite in town. However, I can't give them 5 stars. We came by for an early dinner, which included our 1 year old. We asked for a high chair and were told, "we don't do those." It made for a miserable dining experience. A pitcher of Bud cost me $12 and a 15" pepperoni pizza cost me $22+ (that seems a little steep really). But, despite the pizza being bar'n'grill style, it was...really good. Moved here 3 months ago and finally made it to Mooses. I have read tons of positive reviews on social media, so we had to try it for ourselves. Friday night and it was packed! It was loud in there, but typical for a saloon. Service: Bar service was fast. Food service was interesting. Having never been here before, it wasn't obvious how or where to order food. We had to ask the bartender about seating as well..seat yourself? Once food was ordered we were not told we would need our order number handy. A young lady with short bown hair and glasses made her way around the bar with a pizza in her hand stopping at tables. She stopped at ours and we said "what's on it?" She said " you need to tell me". My husband had to try and dig the receipt out of his pocket to look for an order number( in the dark atmosphere). Found the order number, we determined it was not ours, and she moved on. Another sweet young lady with curly blonde hair stopped by our table with an order and told us the toppings and we confirmed our order. Pizza was great. My husband went back to the order window to get forks. Same rude short hair girl is there behind plexiglass. He asks for forks, it's loud and he side steps the plexiglass so she can hear him, she says " you need to be behind the plexiglass" yet she's out roaming the bar with pizzas not wearing a mask..hmmmm. moving on...about 10 minutes later a large table behind us has short haired girl approach with 2 pizzas. I'm assuming they asked what was on the pizzas. She replies" you need to tell me..nope not yours" and waltzed away. I watched as 4 people at that table were pissed off at this response. I am appalled at the customer service this girl has. She needs to be back in the kitchen, not dealing with your customers! Mooses has built a reputation in Kalispell, and it's being tarnished by crappy service from some employees. All of your customers are not tourists, most are locals. Should be treated better! I'm rating 3 stars because the pizza was good, beer was cold, and bartender was quick. read more

This is a quintessential corner bar, probably been there 50 years, people have carved their initials into the booth or wood around the place. They have a fantastic selection of draft beers. They sell my favorite beer out of Deschutes brewing called mirror pond pale and that's not easy to find outside of Oregon. you can order a small or large thing of peanuts for a buck or two and then you can throw the shells right in the sawdust floor. This is by far the worst over priced pizza we have ever had! Had meat lovers and all the meat looked like ground up mystery meat , no pepperoni and crust was cardboard. We have eaten there before and didn't like so we thought we'd give it another chance Crappier than the last time. Don't know what these people are having but it's all crap.
