I've retained the services of many, many contractors over the years and Morales easily ranks among my Top Five. Morales and his team came out to fix exterior stucco that would get wet as well as water getting into the carpet every time it rained. He did exploratory demo and even went into the attic to check for water intrusion. They removed the stucco, fixed the waterproofing underneath it, and added back the stucco. They also painted it. It rained after they finished and the stucco did not get wet anymore. However, rain was still getting inside somehow. He came back and added some flashing to direct water towards the gutters as well caulk on a valley flashing that had a gap. Overall, I would call Morales again should I need stucco services in the future. Some pluses include weekend availability and a great experience. read more

Morales Plastering did a beautiful job on our whole house re-stucco 4 or 5 years ago. Not only did they re-stucco, but they added architectural details to considerably improve curb appeal. Last week I had to call them for some minor repairs of a couple of places because the house keeps settling. Back a few months there was a leak in our dining room. We had another interior contractor come by to fix it up and we realized that there was still a leak. My roommate reached out to Alejandro at Morales Plastering Construction about getting a quote and they were super ontop of things. They came by the next day and were able to give us a quote upfront of what could be the worst case scenario for the project, since we didn't know the extent of damage. We had time set backs since we had a lot of rain and fortunately the team was super flexible with coming back to test and work on the exterior of the house. We thought we figured out the source of the leak but soon after testing with water ( they were really efficient in making sure everything was done before moving ahead) we had more work to do unfortunately. Everything was handled very professionally. There was a lot of transparency on what work was being done and when. Alejandro, who managed this project would stop by after work was done even when he had other projects to see how things were going. Everything looks great and as if we didn't have any work done in the first place to the house. I don't think anyone would have thought we had to rework a lot huge chunk of stecco. I am very hesitant to give 2 stars, but I have to do that. Hope it can bring some attentions... I contacted Morales Plastering Cons recently to fix several cracks on the stucco. They replied fast and gave a very reasonable price. On the service day, they sent one technician to my home. The technician was nice and fixed several small cracks by apply some sealant. However for the large crack, it looks like he used the wrong method to patch the gap. Please see the attached photo for before/after comparison. The gap is still very visible after the repair and what is worse, the sealant seems shrinking after a few days. There are new cracks on top of the patched locations after a few days. I tried to contact the owner to get some advice, but they did not reply anymore. Follow-up: Alejandro contacted me this week. It turns out the previous delay was due to some personal issues. He came today and applied additional patch to the gap and even painted the area. read more

Alejandro and his crew did some extensive dry rot work for us. They also stuccoed a wall of an addition to the house to match the rest of our existing stucco. They also color matched all the repairs to our paint, so no painting was required after they were done! We had a few hiccups due to weather and an severe injury, but the work was all completed quickly. Morales Plastering Construction did a job for us at our house and we are extremely happy with the results. We had some stucco that was rotting, and Alejandro was able to schedule quickly, and perform the repair in a very timely manner. I am writing this review 5-6 months out from the job. We originally had concerns back in January with the rain and our stucco showing signs of taking on water. Alejandro performed an inspection and found that there was an issue with our gutter and the drain pipe below. He ensured us that there was very little water damage, but that it could be repaired and we should see no lasting effects. He was right. We made it through the rest of the rain without any issue, all of the stucco work looks wonderful. They even repaired the gutter, drain pipe, and laid some concrete to protect the drain pipe. We were so happy with their work, we added a window replacement, which was installed perfectly. We plan to use Morales Plastering Construction again, and would absolutely recommend them for fair job quotes and exceeding our expectations with their work and professionalism. read more

I was so fortunate to have found Alejandro and his crew. I had just wrapped a roof project at our home that included some new structures such as a new portico and change to my rear roof pitch to resolve some draining issues to an older addition. Equally challenging, my home had many roofs that had been built one on top of another - the last being a tile that raised the elevation due to sitting on some framing above the older roofs. This meant my stucco had been cut well above the new finish height and would need considerable patches to complete the effort. Additionally, I learned that a back wall had literally no water proofing around 2 windows and weather was getting past a rotten trim board that was the only preventative thing to stop water from entering my home. I initially had a person that a was going to do the stucco work for me. However, they had an emergency and left town with no solid return timeline. I actually found Alejandro here on Yelp and honestly, he came out to look at my project and provide me a variety of potential solutions and a very fair estimate before any of the others even got back to me. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out a number of areas of concern that I had not been aware of. However, he took the time to explain each in detail to ensure I understood these issues along with how his crew could address. There was no heavy sale... nor gimmick - he is simply a craftsman who takes great pride in his work and wants his customers to feel confident in understanding the full scope of what needs to be addressed along with a clear explanation of how and why he'll approach a fix in the way he explains . They just finished, and they delivered on all of their promises. He and his crew are all genuine craftsmen. They did amazing work, they kept a clean job site and really went out of their way to take great care and attention to protecting the new roof and gutters that had just been installed. They laid out protective material all across all the areas where they would be working as well as the areas where they would be mixing the stucco product on the ground. The crew worked methodically and knocked out each section exactly as he described.. and at the close of each day he wanted to walk me through their progress and point out any areas that gave him concern and how we might address. Once concluded, both Alejandro and his son Alex reached out to ask if I had any questions or any concerns. These guys are awesome! I called 20 stucco people for quotes on a complicated repair. They were one of 5 to respond. They gave me the best estimate. They also have a team of people that took care of moving drain pipes, repairing decks, making new wood stairs, and repainting everything. They took care of every last detail. And the stucco looks amazing. They did an excellent job. The stucco got done very fast but It took a little while to complete the projects last details (like ordering a specialized custom made drain pipe fixtures) but they figured it out and got it done and did it exactly how they said they would and it looks amazing. Alejandro was both flexible in his meeting times to provide a quote and flexible in pricing. I myself being a contractor and working long hours did not have the time to perform a stucco repair patch where my sun room tied into my backyard wall and his guys knocked it out in a couple of days. Both Alejandro and I we're flexible in our completion timeline which probably allowed Alejandro to adjust his pricing so it could be filler work for his crews between jobs. His only deadline for a 2-3 day job was to be complete before the first rain of the season and within a couple of weeks. Once his crews were done, he came by on a Saturday morning with permission to check on the quality of the work. Due to my schedule we kept missing each other so I could finally pay him for the job when it was completed. Alejandro was understanding and was respectful and trusting enough to allow us to link up and pay with Zelle to not be inconvenienced. I paid more than 1 week or so after the job was completed which was more than most people would allow to do when they have a small business and crews to pay. I called, on Saturday to get a quote, and Alejandro called me right back and came over (about an hour after I called). He looked at the job, gave me a quote, and scheduled the work for Monday morning. It couldn't have been quicker. His two man team showed up on Monday morning and completed the job by close to noon. We had recently gotten our circuit breaker panel replaced, and the surrounding stucco had been chipped off. Alejandro's team broke off more of the stucco in order to water proof the area before plastering the hole. They applied the papers, wire, and re-stuccoed the hole. They even painted over the area (I wasn't expecting that). It looks perfect. And good timing - since we got a bit of rain on Tuesday. I had a specific request to match the old color which was a navy blue, and Alex was able to accommodate and dropped off a sample. The exterior of our house needed a lot of work. It hadn't been painted for over 20 years, the stucco had numerous cracks and had large pieces near the foundation broken off, and our windows badly needed upgrading. We sought several estimates for each or these problems and were stunned by some of the estimates and the total it would cost to do everything. On top of that, everything was interrelated. It didn't make sense to paint, without repairing the stucco. It didn't make sense to re-stucco, if the windows were going to be replaced. It didn't make sense to only replace the windows and not fix the stucco and repaint. Fortunately, one of the companies we called was Morales Plastering Construction. Morales Plastering was was able to do all 3 jobs (install windows, re-stucco, and paint) in a coordinated a fashion. Their workers were highly skilled, always polite, and very professional. And as a result, our house looks fantastic! And by being able to give us a packaged deal, their estimate came in lower than if we had hired individual companies, and they were able to give us a better quality job. We initially hired them to repair the stucco on one exterior wall and install three new windows They did such a good job for a reasonable price that we hired them to finish a basement project as well: replacing stair treads, installing a metal handrail, sheetrock, brick veneers, trim, moldings, a light fixture, and other carpentry work, including fixing a couple of things that our previous contractor had done wrong. I wish we had found the Morales crew sooner, as they were much easier to work with, more knowledgeable, and did better quality work than the crew we had for the first part of the project. We had a stucco project that was already started by someone else on our home expansion. They came out and surveyed it and gave us honest feedback that the barrier paper wasn't done right and there was a risk of water ingress. This resulted in completely re-doing the project. We gave them the ok and they started a few days later but while into the project they discovered additional issues. They immediately spoke with the contractor who also was able to verify that it needed to be fixed from the previous individual who started the project. After everything the project turned out excellent and matched the current stucco look. In addition, I forgot to ask them to install the dryer vent and they sent someone out the following week to cut a hole in the new stucco and install the vent. While some of the communication was somewhat difficult I still felt like they gave us great customer service. read more
