Nice, quaint English-style tea and coffee shop. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. They offer both private parking and street parking, which makes visiting convenient. There's also a lovely patio area in addition to comfortable indoor seating. We'll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others. The only suggestion would be to expand their dairy-free alternatives to include coconut milk. I heard a few other customers making similar requests while we were there, so hopefully the owner considers adding more options in the future.

The service is great you walk in and the hostess greats you with a smile and a good morning. It's a quaint place where you can sit and have your scone and drink. I was hoping for a so delicious scone but they were good. They have many flavors I tried a few but there was just an odd afterward taste that I did not care for in the scones. Maybe it was just me but...,I will go back for the Toffee because they specialize in that. And it looks amazingly delicious I do recommend this establishment.

Unbeknownst to me, there is a cute British scone and toffee shop just down the street from Citrus College. I stopped by on a Saturday morning and picked up a variety of scones and also tried their namesake toffee. I selected a butterscotch, chocolate chip, and cranberry orange scones and also added a single piece of dark chocolate/almond toffee. The scones were really good, tender and pretty moist. I also enjoyed the texture of the toffee, which was just the right crispness. The thickness of the chocolate was perfect, enough to add sweetness without being too thick and the nuts were salty and crunchy.

Absolutely beautiful little spot! Very simple and easy to navigate menu. I tried a scone and the iced Irish cream white mocha. Their coffee comes through so well, even with the flavoring. Before leaving I got some of their mint toffee. So freaking delicious. Friendly and patient barista!

I had a pleasant experience at Brown's English Toffee (Glendora). I ordered the "Hot Drink & Scone" Signature Pairing ($7). I selected the Dark Roast Coffee with Oat Milk (no additional cost) and the Cinnamon Chip Scone. Tasty! I arrived on Saturday (around 8AM - opening time). Parking is easy and convenient. There's a tiny private parking lot with six spaces; however, street/neighborhood parking is plentiful. Brown's English Toffee (Glendora) is across Citrus College. Staff is absolutely delightful. Staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and smiley. Staff actively greeted every new customer. Staff immediately helped me. Staff also answered all my questions, and Staff worked quickly. My order was completed within one minute. Extremely fast! As mentioned, I ordered the "Hot Drink & Scone" Signature Pairing ($7). The Dark Roast Coffee is functional and freshly brewed. It was not bitter nor acidic; rather, it tasted clean. Its flavor is unmemorable, but its caffeine is appreciated. However, the Cinnamon Chip Scone was definitely the highlight! It reminded me of a warm, fresh lightly sweetened biscuit with a firm, crumbly crust. As I nibbled, I immediately embraced this pastry's velvety softness & gentle sweetness. The cinnamon flavor floated ever so gently. "Delicious!" Regarding ambiance, Brown's English Toffee (Glendora) is a poor study spot. I found zero electrical outlets for devices. There is no customer restroom; only employees can use the restroom. Staff also informed me that there's no customer internet. Fortunately, the location had pleasant, soothing guitar music on its speakers. Also, the location is relatively clean with its shiny tables. Unfortunately, there's very noticeable thick, uncleaned dust along the windows' crevices. Also, the floor looked worn down with faint muddy shoe prints. However, Brown's English Toffee (Glendora) does have a good amount of tables. The interior contains three small tables with one tall counter with four high chairs. The exterior has four tables with open umbrellas for shade. Regardless, this business felt like an order-and-go spot. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Brown's English Toffee (Glendora). I observed many elderly customers enter-and-leave just to purchase their freshly baked scones. I also appreciated its quality coffee and spectacular service. If nearby, I recommend. 4.6 out of 5

A Toffee Shop? Wait? What? English toffee? Did they misspell coffee? A first pass, I had no idea what was going on in this odd location across from Citrus College. The building use to be an old burger shack so I was a bit confused. Who is selling enough Toffee to open a shop devoted to Toffee? But hey, I'm half-Brit, so maybe I should try. I wanted to answer that question but every time I drove by it was closed. So, finally, I dropped in and grabbed some toffee and treats to go. Inside the shop, it was surprisingly nice. They've redone the place and it's very welcoming. The counter is full of toffee and other treats (Celtic Candy). I bought about $35 worth of treats to try and split at home. Pictured is just a little of what was left as it went fast! It was delicious! I can't see myself coming often but I can see buying gifts for clients and occasionally picking up a treat. Thoughts for the store... Up your coffee game - need a full scale mini coffee bar if you want me to ever come more than just an occasionally treat. Do toffee themed drinks! Hey, why not?! Also, up the seating game outside. There's a college next door! Ha! Make it a great place for students to come grab a drink and snack. Build a covering, consider the atmosphere outside as now it's not pleasant enough to hang. Also, consider some other small treats. The scone I ordered was fantastic too btw! Looking fwd to coming back!

10/10 for the scones. We had the toffee, white chocolate raspberry and the chocolate chip ones..They were tender and flaky ,soft and moist inside, with a light and crunchy top. Unfortunately, the tea was served lukewarm, which didn't allow the flavors to fully develop. (We didn't notice this until we left) Coffee was okay as well nothing special or standout. We had the iced toffee drink and it was way too sweet for me. The hot latte and drip coffee were ok. The service was friendly and helpful. Overall this place is charming and had enough spots to sit inside or out. The scones were delicious. Next time I'll try the toffee!

We're so glad they're finally open! We were intrigued by a toffee place in Glendora and made sure to put in our calendar to visit. There is a small parking lot, but we had no issues parking on a Saturday around 11am. Inside is beautifully decorated, bright and very clean. There are a few tables inside as well as an outdoor seating area. We wanted to try their toffee of course so we had an assorted 1/4 pound and added a butterscotch toffee scone. We also had a coffee and an earl grey crème tea. Prices are reasonable and even better , everything we purchased was delicious. The toffee was crisp and surprisingly not too sweet and paired well with our drinks. I loved that the scone wasn't too dry and was perfectly sweetened. The owners are very gracious and service was excellent. They also have prepackaged toffee, sugar free toffee options and fudge which we look forward to trying next time!

A family owned business that serves delicious treats. I love the ambiance here, it's a great place to sit and enjoy a sweet treat and chill for a bit. I like to get a coffee and a scone and enjoy the peaceful environment inside for a bit. My favorite scone so far is the cinnamon chip, though that may change as I make my way through the menu. Their toffee is amazing, crunchy and sweet, I prefer the dark chocolate toffee. It's a great gift for someone. They have several options to purchase, like in presealed bags or boxes. The staff was friendly and they really seem to love what they do.

Truly the sweetest place in every way! Their scones and toffee are absolutely amazing ! The scones are tender, flavorful, and just as delicious the next day. I've recommended Brown's to my family and friends. The staff couldn't be kinder, they're as sweet as the treats they serve!

Forgot to take a before picture but this was how good it was! Iced vanilla latte, iced Irish white crème mocha, hot London Fog, toffee scone

Try the dark roast. It's got a distinct peat taste and smell that is very unique. Staff is always on point.

As someone who belongs to several wine clubs, I was excited to discover a spot like this right in my own backyard. The showroom selection was beautiful, and the chocolate offerings (especially the blood orange dark chocolate) were a standout. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill due to the service. When I asked the sommelier about their champagne, his response came across as arrogant and dismissive, implying that "everyone knows" it was entry-level and basic. It felt unnecessary and off-putting, especially when I was genuinely interested. After enjoying the band for a bit, my friends and I decided to sit on the outdoor patio, which looked very inviting. As I walked out, the sommelier actually chased after me along with another man from the doorway to tell me I couldn't take my wine outside. It felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily confrontational. When I asked why there was a seating area if drinks weren't allowed, the response was unclear and inconsistent. Overall, this place has great potential and a lovely atmosphere, but the sommelier's attitude really ruined the experience. It's especially disappointing if he is the owner, because that sets the tone for the entire establishment.

Shockingly, this hidden location had a consistent stream of customers. TRO Coffee's ambiance is an acquired taste. If someone had decorated a mall's parking garage, it would resemble TRO Coffee's interior. Classical/Jazz Elevator Music played in the corner. Customers were casually reading books or lounging with a laptop in this mismatching dusty concrete interior. I also consistently observed staff chatting about limited supplies (ex: no more mocha; lacking black napkins; missing ingredients). Overall, TRO Coffee offers extremely friendly service.
