Easy 5 stars here. Couple things that really stood out. Very friendly person at register with a chill vibe. Beautiful interior with a very clean and organized spread. You can find anything you need for a picnic, meal prep or just small items. I picked up the albacore sandwich which was a good portion with very fresh ingredients. The whole grain bread was perfect. After looking around I also picked up a pot pie which they only make on Friday through Sunday. Also picked up a charred cabbage salad. Both were so good. Will be back as soon as I can!

Great desserts to go or enjoy in the store

My friend Jean and I had lunch on February 13, Galentine's Day and there was a beautiful little shop a couple of storefronts away called MORENA PROVISIONS. It was filled with great gifts and desserts. We shared carrot cake to finish our meal and a glass of red wine. We were really impressed by the selection and found 5 different cards that were just perfect for my two granddaughter, my daughter-in-law, my grandniece from France who we celebrated Galentine's Day with that evening with unique cards and gifts. We were so impressed that we can't wait to go back to see what's new! Fortunately we have an appointment with our acupuncturist whose office is close by next Thursday and we'll see what's new and try some of the other desserts at the shop and get more to share at home. The staff was super friendly and helped us with information about all of their fabulous product!

I've had this place two days in a row and I'm still craving it. I tried the chicken BLAT and it's the only thing I want to eat for the rest of my life. Try yours on focaccia bread and panini pressed and you'll be hooked. I also had the carrot cake today and it was perfection. Highly recommend! Thanks Sandi for the great service!

    Sandi happy serving her customers.

    Artichoke chicken salad sandwich. Yum

I've been coming here for years, when it was Waters. I come two or three times a week for the past ten years to pick up lunch and dinner, it's fabulous. Sandy, Leslie and Matt are awesome! Definitely my go to for myself and hosting.

    Christmas shopping for foodies.

What a great find in an odd to find location. I stumbled across this place while looking for tacos and what a find. I had a wonderful sandwich and did Christmas shopping all in the same place. Will definitely come again next time I'm on Moreno blvd.

Half of portobello and pepper sandwich

We stopped by this place looking for sandwiches for lunch, and the food was really very good. Healthy and tasty as well. I had a portobello mushroom sandwich with roasted bell peppers and other goodies. My husband had the tuna fish sandwich with really great bread. Both sandwiches we would definitely have again, although I want to try other ones. Many baked goods savory and sweet to choose from, and we got chocolate chip cookies to go. We will be going to this place again. Great lunch find.

    Harvest Cobb

Sweet little cafe with an amazing menu. I had the Harvest Cobb Salad and it was great. We were served by Sandi who was very attentive and answered all our questions. Will definitely be back... Nice having this place in our neighborhood.

We chose happy hour since they have such a great HH menu! Everything looked good on the regular menu as well, but we went with the HH food and kids' meals. We enjoyed two orders of the cauliflower, the cheese pizza, and the smash burger with fries--all of them were so well done! Our kids wanted the mac and cheese with fruit (which came with fresh blueberries and blackberries), and my one year old had that plus a side of snap peas and carrots. Both kids loved their food and even had enough left over for dinner the following day. We also tried the "Kiwi Be Friends" drink, which was delicious! Service was fantastic. Amelia was upbeat, attentive, and even checked in with us before happy hour ended to see if we wanted to order anything else. I was so grateful for the friendly reminder! I completely see why it's called a beer garden--it is beautiful. I loved the decor, the greenery, and the covered patio with turf, picnic tables, fans, and both table and ceiling heaters. The furniture and the bar... I loved it all! The designer really took their time and did a wonderful job planning it out. As a quick heads-up on the layout, the bathrooms are gender-neutral. It's an open room with about six private stalls and shared sinks, featuring red/green indicators near the doorknobs to tell you if a stall is occupied or vacant. I am for sure coming back for the regular menu soon!

A nice tropical drink thats not over the top tropical. Brew-nana Buzz- Very delicious, what mostly caught my eye was Liquor 43 which i love and was the perfect mixture with espresso. The banana liquor was subtle but a nice addition. My coworker initially couldn't taste the banana, but i clearly tasted it. We got a few pizzas which were great, thin neapolitan style pizza but not soggy in the middle. Im not usually a fan of real Neapolitan style pizza cause they are ususally wet and soggy in the middle these were perfect! I like the Diablo pizza the best because it was quite spicy. The potato pierogi were nicely grilled on the flat top and had a nice crisp exterior texture and placed on a bed of dill sour cream. Very delicious! We also got it with the side of spicy kielbasa, it was also nicely charred and spicy a great addition to the pierogi. The mezze plate was also a big hit. Freshly baked pita, smooth and creamy hummus with some toppings and crispy falafel. The pita bread and hummus were really good, the hummus was also topped with lentels and tasty eggplant puree. Highly recommend this dish! The dirty fries came with freshly fried homemade fries, and topped with pulled pork. I thought this dish was just OK. i guess i prefer a drier meat not the wet BBQ pulled pork. But thats just me. Tuna Tosdada was also pretty good, crispy tortilla with seared albacore and avacado, the peanut salsa matcha added a lot to it. People loved the chicken tikka masala pot pie. The crust was nice and flakey. My coworkers loved it. It was too strong a flavor for me. When I usually eat it, there's a lot of buffer with the rice, with just the crust it was too strong for me. We got a few desserts, they were both excellent! The butterscotch budino was very smooth, the butterscotch pudding was tasty and the salted caramel took it over the top. I liked it mostly because of the caramel topping. Reminded me of frozen butter beer from Harry Potter at Universal studios. The cast iron cookie was most similar to the pazooki, a cookie cooked in a cast iron pan topped with vanilla gelato cookie crumbles and chocolate sauce. There's overflow parking in the lot but I just usually park on Camino De La Reina. They no longer add the 20% tip to larger parties, service was excellent and friendly.

The bar area was nice, the music was good but the lighting is a little too dark and yellow. We started off with cocktails and ordered 2 apps, the wings and the Brussel sprouts. When the drinks came out, my wife's Chardonnay had what seemed like broken glass at the bottom and the flavor was off so we switched it for a Pinot Grigio. I had a Cool Hand Lucy, I wasn't a fan. It was a little too sweet for my taste. The appetizers showed up soon after and the Brussel sprouts were delicious but the cashew crusted wings looked a lot better than they tasted. The wings seemed pre-fried and fired up again when ordered, making them dry. The flavors were a little weird too, imagine sweet and sour with cashew crumbs. We won't be ordering that next time. My wife got The sea bass and I the châteaubriand as it was a chef special. However, I would have not ordered it if I had known before hand that this was a platter to share, something the waiter didn't mention which would have been helpful. My wife liked her sea bass. It was cooked perfectly. My meal was a disappointment. The filet was sliced so thin it reminded me of cold cuts spread over a bed of arugula with potato wedges, $120. The flavor was good but I would have like my steak to be sliced thicker. When i think about my experience at the Red Door, I feel that almost of what fell short was due to our server. My wife's Chardonnay, my meal and even my cocktail were things that the waiter did or suggested. Overall, I felt like they missed the mark. If we do come back, we will probably sit in the main dining room and make sure to ask a lot of questions when ordering.

Our food came a few minutes after we ordered. Our waitress, Karla, was absolutely amazing! She gave us great recommendations, explained each menu item in detail, had the best energy, and provided top-notch customer service from start to finish! Outside of the restaurant, there are two doors where you can pick up take-out and dine-in. The restaurant inside is spacious, plenty of seating of booths and there's also outdoor dining. For the food orders, I had the BBQ combo with the choice of BBQ Brisket and BBQ Tri-Tip with a side of mashed potatoes. The combo came with two different bbq dipping sauces. The first one was a cherry tomato which made it smoky and sweet while the other is the original that is tangy and smoky. I preferred the original. My best friend had the BBQ Tri-Tip Sandwich with a side of corn on the cob and butter. We also received fresh baked garlic rolls which was a good start for an appetizer. The garlic rolls were one of the highlights for my best friend. It has olive oil, parsley, and garlic. Everything was delicious! This place is definitely on the higher end price-wise, but the food, service, and overall experience made it well worth it. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend checking it out with family and friends!

Even when asked to prepare it medium rare, it still comes out dry. The asparagus (a premium side) has been stringy and inedible the last several times. The baby back ribs don't have much flavor and the steamed broccoli is very bland. The meat on the bones used to fall off and now it is a struggle. Even though we asked for the entree to come after the salad was done, it came while we were still eating salad. When eating anything with your hands, the server should automatically bring out some type of wet nap to clean up. How can the meal be so terrible when the happy hour menu is so good? The service is way better from the bar staff and the food far better. We have enjoyed the happy hour and will continue to go to that, but the regular menu is not up to good standards. Too bad!
