Came here on a Monday for acrylic removal and dip powder. When I came in, they said it was gonna be a 20 min wait which I'm fine with. When it was my turn to sit down there was a girl next to also getting her acrylic removed. The lady that was doing my nails was going back and forth between me and the other girl without changing gloves, or washing her hands. The tools looked dirty full of material from the previous client. She had my acrylic powder in her handd while working on the other person and viseversa. She seems annoyed and frustrated while working on both. I decided to just let her remove my acrylic and go somewhere else because I did not wanted to pay 60 dollars for a bad nail job. I feel this place needs more workers so that way the staff doesn't stress out and cross contaminate the customers nails. I was not happy to see the that and that is how people can get nail diseases like fungus etc... read more

Poor customer service... they barely glance up when you walk in the door. I am sure this prime location costs a lot in rent, so you would think they would be better with greeting customers and making sure they get served promptly. So not the case. This place is close by so I thought I would try it out. My normal nail salon is at Christown mall and Rose the pedicurist is the best so I came in here with high expectations. We were greeted when we came in and were able to make a walk in appointment. The place is bright and clean. The man at the desk was friendly enough and we got in earlier than we planned. From there the experience was less than I had hoped. I got the basic pedicure and the price was good compared to Scottsdale and other downtown locations. The nail and cuticle trim was very rushed and so was the foot scrub and massage. She did not put in any effort to remove ingrown nail at all. My friend had a full pedicure package and was cut too close and had an infection in the next three days. I waited patiently for my friend to finish while watching shoppers pass by at Arizona center. I don't know if the pedicurists were rushed or if this is the quality of work, but this experience was worse than expected. Overall, I was impressed with the all appearances but the work was disappointing. Although I can walk here, I would rather drive fifteen minutes to get a thorough job at my other salon. read more

I came here during a break in my classes, not where I usually go but, I figured what the hell, I have time to kill. I got a gel manicure and I figured it would be pretty simple since my nails were already long and you can't screw it up too much, right? Well, I was wrong. After two days my cuticules are drier than ever and they're actually peeling and bleeding since I was nicked a few times. I love this salon. My nails always come out perfect and they make it a very relaxing experience. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is because i always get in the set past my appointment. Example: I'll have an appointment for 100 pm and get there prior to the time but my nails will not be started till 120-130. Most stressful pedicure experience. Water was scalding and the guy shoved my feet into it without checking the temp to which I yelled and yanked my feet out. The actual pedicure was rushed and so rough the guy was hurting me. It was so rough he ripped open a healed scab on my toe. Then the hot towel he put on my legs was the temperature of the sun and, once again, I yelled out and threw the towel off. Barely made it out alive. read more

AMAZING experience at this nail salon. In town for a conference and needed my nails done pronto. They shaped my fingernails perfectly and my gel manicure looks wonderful. I appreciated that they had several of the nail polishes with matching gel color so my fingers and toes could match. Was not happy at my last pedicure. I was just left in the chair for a long time. Nobody did that super-skillful thing where they put on your shoes without smudging your nails. So, I paid my money and walked out with a messed-up nail, even though I waited for a ridiculous amount of time for someone to put on my flip flops, thereby signaling the official end oft he pedicure. This mani/pedi experience was average. There was nothing striking about the facility and it was a bit warm. The temperature was adjusted when some patrons complained. The cost was high relative to the service one would receive at other eastablishments. For example, it is understood that when one gets a pedi, buffing of rough skin is included in the service. Here it is an extra charge and they use a timer. You pay for more than you get. read more

Apparently they have a student discount but it only applies to gel nails and waxing I think? Super bummed to find that out half way through getting my acrylics on. Should probably advertise that the discount on applies to that. Anyways, had my najls done here last week. Got a pedicure and it was alright. The older man doing my nails cleaned up my feet and had someone paint my toes because a lady who requests him usually had shown up. I had gotten a callus removed done to remove some bad ones on my heel. However, after leaving me to attend the lady who ended up sitting next to me, I felt my feet and still felt skin that still needed to be scrubbed off. Now I think at this part, he has already started working on the other person's feet when he noticed me touching my heel. He had asked what was wrong, I told him, and he came and scrubbed my heel with a nail file. This part I cant recall if he JUST used it on the lady next to me cause he didnt dig through his cart for it, it was on hand. Nice guy, but either way this grossed me out. Then went to get my acrylics on and this dude was digging up into my cuticles so hard and fast. When he went to buff it, I could feel the heat of the machine. Never have I seen someone rush so fast and half-ass my nails. Theyd do one thing to my nails but would miss a nail or two in the process cause he was rushing so much. Didnt even bother to clean of residue underneath the nails. Cant even paint nails right as theres still opaque layers of my nail polish, which was a dark purple gray. On top of that, he had me wait under the UV lamps on the side of the front of the store for my nails to dry, telling me he'd come check on me in 10-15 min. So here I am, under 1 of the 2 lights of the right side since one was broken. The guy leaves to smoke, comes back and I waited a good 30 min before the guy finally comes back after his chats with other staff in the back and says "Tired? You can pay now" WITHOUT looking at my nails or even checking to begin with. Only came here to get my nails done before a wedding since I didnt wanna make an hour trip back home for another salon, so this was my first time here and last resort. Next time, I'll just make the trip home! Save yourself the headache unless you're really desperate and this is your last resort! read more

NO!!! Not my first time here, but now I see why it's always my last min option. But NEVER AGAIN!!! Came in for a gel manicure, took longer than expected: The older lady doing my manicure stopped to start water for pedicure , then finish polishing toenails on A ANOTHER person ! Rinsed hands in water then came back to me to cut my cuticles and etc, asked my to wash my hands and scrub. When I returned she was gone, to wax a walk-in client. When she finished she noticed I was staring and still only rinsed off hands with water no soap (yes, i visually seen this) . I asked her no soap? when she returned - language barrier . I pulled out my hand sanitizer , she finished my gel manicure . I paid, tipped and left. When I walked out in the sunlight noticed nail polish on my skin outside of my nails & returned to asked if nail polish remover can be applied to clean it up. She went to the station next to the register where another tech was doing nails to open her drawer and pull out CUTICLE CLIPPERS ! She said it was skin, I asked her can she apply nail polish remover versus to cut random pieces of my skin and nails with a cuticle clipper ! She kept trying to remove the excess nail polish with cuticle clippers ! I just said 'Thank you' and walked out, it was a lost cause .
