Small 2 person booth

There is NOTHING like a NY diner! This one was relatively close to my hotel and I dined along here on my first night since no one else had arrived yet. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted by friendly staff. I was seating immediately at a small booth and asked about my drink order. Nice to be back in NY and being able to order seltzer (not soda water!). My Tuscan chicken panini was enormous and delicious. It came with a choice of cup of soup served ahead and double crispy French fries with my sandwich. I chose the cream of turkey soup. It was creamy with large chunks of fresh turkey throughout the cup of soup. The panini was served with a balsamic glaze that was perfect for the sandwich and dipping my fries. I had half a sandwich left for another meal. I observed everyone welcomed in the same way during my meal and obviously many regulars who dine here often. I complimented the staff as I paid at the counter, this was a great reminder of how I grew up on Long Island and the friendliness of New Yorkers. Love the hospitality and atmosphere that this diner has created and has been doing for a long time. I enjoyed it so much, I brought my whole family back for dinner the next evening!

Autumn skillet

We came here on a Sunday for brunch and, as expected, it was packed but surprisingly we were seated within five minutes. Even with how busy it was, the service was great. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and really on top of things. I ordered from their specials menu, and we both went for skillet dishes. They actually ran out of skillets, but they apologized right away, honestly not a big deal. I got the Autumn Skillet, and I truly think it deserves a permanent spot on their regular menu. It came with eggs your way, sweet potatoes, squash, apples, avocado, spinach, caramelized onions, and feta. The flavors were incredible, and everything worked so well together. I'd go back just for that dish alone, it was seriously delicious. My husband ordered the Veggie Skillet and said it was great as well. The coffee was good, the food was fresh and flavorful, and prices were very reasonable. Overall, this was our first time here and we were genuinely impressed. Great food, great service, great value. We'll definitely be back!

Corned Beef Hash with sunny side eggs

Basically a perfect diner, feels like a diner, good service & relaxing atmosphere. My corned beef hash tasted homemade, not that Hormel out of the can trash. It was a simple meal but there is nothing I can complain about at all. I drive a little further than my own town (extra 20 min) to go here for breakfast if I have the time.

What an awesome gem on Long Island. Incredible food here. Every dish was created by the owner. He should be a Michelin star. A must try.

This is truly the best place for breakfast in Center Moriches. I always feel like they take care of us like we're part of the family.

The indoor space is small, but the rustic trendy Southern vibe gives it a cozy atmosphere that feels very family run and welcoming. It's located right next to the train line, which adds to the small town café feel. The food was definitely worth the wait overall. I had the Remsenburg burger with all the fixings and it was delicious. The homemade burger bun really stood out. We also tried the homemade biscuit with jam, which was excellent. My partner ordered the pancakes and breakfast platter. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The only downside food wise was that the ham was a bit too salty. Service was attentive and polite throughout our visit. There was a moment walking in where I felt stared at a bit, but the staff maintained a friendly attitude otherwise. You can tell it's a younger crew helping run the place, and the family style atmosphere comes through. The only real cons were the long wait and the fact that a few menu items were unavailable by the time we ordered. Overall though, I'd definitely visit again.

We called to see if we needed a reservation, but no one answered, and the mailbox was full. So we drove over. There was a sign outside saying, "We're open!" On the back of that sign, it said "Now serving dinner Friday and Saturday 6-9 pm." The parking lot was EMPTY. On the door was a sign saying, "Sorry, we're closed." No Friday or Saturday night dinner hours were noted. I can't comment on the food or ambience, because we didn't get to experience either of these. I'm sure that everything would have been simply lovely, had they actually been open. We saw the menu, and were really looking forward to dinner. Our disappointment was vast. I don't know if we'll trust them to be open for dinner and return. They're usually only open for breakfast and lunch. I thought that I also had screenshots of Google/Yelp showing them as open for dinner, and the back of the sign. Can't find them.

The staff were friendly and helpful, even during the morning rush! For you book lovers, it's the perfect spot to grab a drink while taking a stroll through the library, or take a seat outside! If you're a fan of cold brew or anything coconut flavored, you have to try the shaken coconut cream cold brew. You may find your new favorite summer drink, because I sure did. This coffee had the perfect amount of coconut flavor. The foam on top wasn't thick like a Starbucks foam. It was light and airy, which I think has much more flavor! The coconut and coffee flavor was a perfect balance. I honestly don't know how they would be able to make this taste any better. My niece and nephew got the birthday cake cake pops, which I had to take a bite of. Definitely too sweet for me, but if you have a sweet tooth - you'd love it. This is definitely a spot to try if you have never been! I'd love to go back when I visit in the fall. I'm sure they have great pumpkin flavors.

It was a seasonal special and delicious. They have alternative milks, flavors to make your coffee just the way you want it. I prefer giving my business to this type of shop over the big franchise. It is comparable in all ways price wise and quality is overall better.

View of water was nice, and even better nice sunset. Service was excellent, we had a very attentive waitress. Did not have to wait too long for our food. We ended up doing all specials. We shared the seafood stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. For dinner my husband had the pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe. I had the halibut with shrimp. Both delicious. Somehow we had room for dessert. We ordered the RAINBOW COOKIE ICE CREAM SUNDAE for two. When that arrived, our jaws dropped. Thing was huge. More than enough for two people. And so dangerously good. This place was a drive for us but I would come back again for a special occasion.

My children took us here for our anniversary and refused to tell us before hand the name of the restaurant. So getting to it is a long drive down a road with gated homes until you reach the end and a waterfront restaurant. My daughter made the reservation and for us to sit on the patio. At first I was concerned because it has been very hot lately and the sun was strong. Well have no fear. Tables have large umbrellas and early evening gave us a gentle breeze. Okay the food: we all had something different and everyone mentioned how good it was. Another step back... They have valet parking which set the perfect mood for me. So my wife had chicken parm. Please forgive her. Not that it wasn't good, but a waterfront restaurant specializing in seafood. Come on my love. I had flounder encrusted with lobster. Beyond heavenly. Oh yes we shared baked clams. OMG. We usually judge a new restaurant by their baked clams and these were on point. The bill: I have no idea. My kids paid . It brought me to tears. When we have dinner out with the kids I always pay so this made me delirious. Finally the views. Spectacular just spectacular. Yes I recommend ITA and I will definitely by back. Unfortunately I'll be paying but it will be worth it.
