Another exceptional visit to Great Mall Tire Outlet with Frank!!! With my tire pressure light being lit for about a week, I finally made the time to take my car to the gas station I frequently visit. Thankfully I made the visit sooner than later because my tires all measured 10-15 notches as being underinflated by what the recommended levels were. With some help, I was able to add the appropriate air into each tire but came to a road block with the driver side rear tire. Air would not enter, nor would the amount of air measure with the air thingamajig. Naturally, I PANICKED!! I immediately assumed I needed a whole new tire, or worst- an entire set!! I hopped in my car and immediately drove out to see Frank. No lie, this place is a revolving door full of customers. If that doesn't confirm how knowledgeable and trustworthy this business is, I don't know what will. Even on an early morning Tuesday, my arrival was met with an estimated 1.5 hour wait. I'd been to this Great Mall tire outlet once before for a simple transfer of a tire from a bad rim to a new rim, and it was fine. I even gave the worker a tip that time. The old man behind the counter actually seemed logical that day. So I went back. Big mistake. This time, I'd bought my tires elsewhere and just needed a service stop. When my turn came, the old man launched into a full two-minute rant about why they charge more for outside tires. He rambled on about Walmart, griping that it takes months to get an appointment there. Afterward, I said the price was fair which seemed to confuse him. I think he forgot his own argument mid-rant. Then came the funny part. I asked, "How long's the wait?" That set off another ramble: first come, first served, I'd be fourth in line, blah blah blah. Duh, isn't it obvious that it's first come, first served? So I said, "I don't have time today." Without missing a beat, he made a shooing motion with both hands and said, "Out you go." Hahaha! Sir, just because I don't have time that day doesn't mean I don't have time ever. I would've come back the next day. But with that grumpy old man attitude? Unprofessional and unfair, and more... I went to Great Mall tire outlet to replace my tires. Frank, the owner, told me- "I'll order your tire size and it will arrive tomorrow, Come back tomorrow." I came back the next day and the tires were replaced. A few months later, I discovered that the tires were not the correct size!! So both the owner and the installer made a mistake, in ordering and in installing! I found this out when my car didn't pass smog check. The smog guy told me there was a problem with the sensors. So I had to go to the dealership to check why the sensor wasn't working. it was because the tires were too big and triggers the sensors!! So I had to pay $850 to the dealer for diagnostic + new tires. in addition of a lot of time I wasted, plus two smog check visits. I come back to returned the incorrect tires, and asked for a refund. Frank only willing to give me a partial refund. I tried to talk to him and explain that it made no sense, because of his mistake I paid more than double and wasted a lot of time, and that he received the tires back. He refused to listen and said that if I didn't want the partial refund, then bye! And he aggressively pushed me out of the store with his hands!! I went in early morning and was lucky to be the first one to get there because there was a line shortly after me. The couple who came in after me said they've been coming to Frank for years now, they drove over an hour, so that was a good sign. Service was super quick & affordable ! Frank offered me a free tire rotation after 5k miles, which in good fashion I didn't take at the time, but this past Monday I hit a board on the highway which caused my tire to pop. I'll start by noting, my son has ridiculously large tires and rims on his Chevy Tahoe. They serve no purpose other than for aesthetic appearance and are a waste of money, but this is what teen boys choose. Since this is a review on a tire place, I will stop here on my view of my son's automotive choices. After doing the project search for a very large tire here on Yelp, Great Mall, and Frank specifically, was the only tire place to respond with any real interest in helping me. Full disclosure, my own mechanic said he didn't have a machine that could mount a tire that big. Frank messaged through Yelp a reasonable price and informed me it would have to be ordered. I waited a couple days to see if any other tire places would offer a quote; none did, so I went with Frank. I went in on a Thursday at 11:45 am. There was nobody ahead of me; as soon as the tech finished his lunch he started work on my tire. Frank noted the tires needed rotating on the truck and did it for free. The job was done in less than 40 minutes and I was even charged for less than the quote. You really can't beat that. Now I will say, I had a little trouble understanding Frank at times, but maybe that's just me, but my experience with Great Mall Tire was very good, and I'll be back for any work Costco can't do again. read more

Went here to get my tires looked at cause the air pressure would keep dropping on one tire. I was expecting to pay almost 1K for a brand new set of tires, but they were able to patch it up for the cost of a nice dinner out! Rotation is free but you have to explicitly ask. The car mechanic who does my routine oil changes told me that the brake pads and rotors on my car were worn and needed replacement. I am so happy I went to Frank for a second opinion because Frank ended up showing me my brake pads and they were completely fine. Frank used to work for a shop down the street, but when that shop changed ownership, Frank went out on his own. When he was a manager at the other place. He was great. I felt my car issues was going to be a costly fix. What was when they put my car on a lift and showed me what was wrong they were able to validate my issues, letting me know how much it would cost and it will take a few hours, for both getting the parts and fixing the car up. Another customer came and just needed a tire rotation, and it was nice that they did the rotation before me, because his tire rotation was minimal compared to my car. What was surprising was how fast the work was done. I got in at before 8 and they were done before lunch. other places I would have to come back in the afternoon or the next day. The workers were kind and sensible, with great customer service and care. The car feels so much better to drive now. I was told they used new complete struts instead of replacing the spring or the interior shocks. Which was nice because we were on the same page. I am grateful for the quick and efficient service and will be back, hopefully for just for maintenance and not major repairs. read more

Stopped by Great Mall tire outlet early before 7:30 am and the owner, frank was able to get me in right away within 30 minutes. Lucky me I had a screw again in my right rear tire. I've been to this shop several times now for tire rotations and tire replacements, and most recently for a brake pad and rotor replacement. I was given high quotes at other shops for the replacement but decided to see if Frank's team could work on this for me. Not only did I end up spending only an hour waiting (in the new waiting room, which has free wifi and is extremely clean and comfortable!), but I ended up spending much less than if I had gone with the other quotes. Frank is honest and transparent about what needs to be done on my car, and never upsells me on any services I don't need. I'm always recommending him to my friends and family. My daughter seems to be a magnet for tire problems. Last week, during an oil change, the dealership told her that one of her tires has a bubble. I came in to Great Mall Tire for a quote on 4 tires on my Camry 2018 XSE. The Manager Frank gave me a good price. I wanted quieter tire than the original tire, Bridgestones. Frank said, try Falken/Azenis fk460, you won't be unhappy. I love the new tires. The reason I came in was because Frank fixed a tire 6 months prior to this. I went to Big O down the street, they wanted to put new tires on my Camry. Give my business to honest guys in my opinion. Got my tires installed in over an hours time.
