Jim H. the General Manager doesn't care about his customers or his job. His apology was half ass didn't own responsibility for his team. Here's my story... I wanted to provide some feedback on my experience with Moritz Chevy from last week. I came in with my 2015 Silverado for my tires being worn down unevenly July 28th and spoke with Chris L. He told me that you guys were backed up a couple days so it would be wise to make an appointment for the following week. He put my truck on the alignment machine up there in the front to confirm there was a problem and it failed. So we set the appointment for Wed. Aug 3rd 9am. I arrived wed. at 9 and dropped off my truck. Chris took the keys and didn't have me sign anything regarding what they were going to do to my truck or what the scenario would be if you didn't find anything wrong with it. I believe it was cause he anticipated that it was going to be warranty work. I didn't hear anything from Chris until Thur. towards the end of business because I had to call him. I asked what the status was and he said it hadn't even been looked at. I asked why did I have to set up an appointment if I was going to have to wait in line for a technician to free up? Its totally misleading to the customer if you have them set up and appointment but the priority stays the same as a walk in. Anyways, so I asked why I hadn't been offered a loaner if it was going to take 2+ days to even look at it? He said because there's a waiting list on loaners as well but he'd try and get my one with enterprise which he did. Friday comes along and I called him again at lunch to see what the status was and he said that the truck only needed an alignment, tire rotation and balance. I told him I couldn't afford it at the time so I'd bring it back (which at that point I wouldn't have used Moritz as it was and it gets worse) but that I'd be in shortly to pick it up. He said no problem its ready when I'm ready to get it. I arrive at Moritz at 4pm and Chris tells me to wait in lobby. I wait in lobby for about 20 minutes when he comes out to tell me that there's going to be a diagnostic fee. I told him I didn't sign anything to say I understood that it would cost me if it doesn't end up being a warranty repair. He tells me its discounted and that the mechanic spent an hour on diagnosing and if I didn't pay it the mechanic wouldn't get paid. Needless to say I paid it because I felt bad for the mechanic and it was only 25 bucks. So I get in this long line (even though I've been waiting) to pay and they tell me my truck will be pulled up to the front. I'm thinking this truck was supposed to be ready hours ago. So I wait in the lobby for 25 minutes more and then go to Chris' office. He tells me that he'll go get it himself. I wait in his office for another 15 minutes when his colleague who he shares an office with finally says what's going on with your truck? I was getting pissed at that point so he joins the search for Chris and my truck. After neither one of them come back for another 15 minutes I go to the cash counter and ask what the hell is going on? The cashier joins the search for Chris, his colleague and my truck. I see them going from vehicle to vehicle so I ask one of the workers in the lobby what they are doing and they tell me looking for my KEYS! I ended up using a spare I had in the truck to get home. read more

After visiting few other dealers, I walked in to Moritz Chevrolet where I was promptly greeted by Tony Gutierrez. Tony welcomed me to the dealership and started identifying my needs in a new vehicle purchase. I had my eyes set on a Equinox and Tony immediately pinpointed two separate units he had in stock. He spoke about pricing and my expectations of financing and payments. After that brief discussion he got two separate set of keys and plate in his hands and we went out to look over the options of the two units his expertise had quickly identified for me. He showed me the difference in the different trim levels, pricing and options associated with each. After discussing and looking around several other units I decided Tony had already identified the Equinox I wanted and had the keys in his hands. So we took off on a test drive where all the options of the Equinox were pointed out to me and all my questions were answered. We went in and started the negotiation stage. A area of this process, that as a women I was completely intimidated by. Tony settled my nerves quickly. He was not what I expected from a salesman and he did not seem rushed or pushy but wanted me to understand exactly what I was getting. He allowed me space to make phone calls and never tried to push or intimidate me. At each step he asked questions to insure my comfort level. He pointed out several advantages of his in house financing and his dealerships vast availability of lenders. Being from the finance industry myself I was pretty in tune with financing terms and what I would qualify for. Tony and his management team explained to me the different terms available to me and seamlessly got me over to Chris in the finance department. Chris also made me feel very comfortable as he explained available warranties and the price of, never pushing me to a decision but explaining the benefits and the cost of to me. He allowed me time to make a decision. I had drove to the dealership in a vehicle I never intended to trade in. So I had two vehicles at the dealership when I came out of finance. Tony quickly volunteered to follow me home and give me a ride back to the dealership as my Equinox's detail was being finished up. I felt completely comfortable at this point and accepted his offer. We took my other vehicle home and came back to pick up my Equinox. Tony still was not tired of my endless questions and took the time to set up my On Star account and the blue tooth on my phone. He had covered everything by this point so I was completely satisfied with my purchase experience and Moritz Chevrolet. I would absolutely recommend Moritz and Tony to any car buyer out there, not only my family in which I have done already but anyone who appreciates a upfront no haggle transaction. read more

I went into the Moritz Chevrolet dealership and met Gary Walker. He was awesome! I have been driving Dodge Durangos since the begining of time. The new Dodge seemed a little small to me. I wanted something more on a truck style like my 2004 Durango. I was 100% confused about the GMC Yukon, Suburban and Tahoe. I wanted the Grill of the Denali, the room of the Suburban, and the style of the Tahoe. Gary took the time to explain all of the pros and cons of each vehicle. I truely mean this. No presure, just pure honest education. I left and of course went to several different GMC and Chevy dealerships. Everything Gary had told me was true. So we put together the perfect SUV for ME !! A White Diamond Tahoe, fully loaded. To satisfy my need for that special looking grill simular to the Denali, we put a the Chrome grill that looks like a honey cone from the Suburban on my Tahoe and a Chrome stripe down each door! When I drove home and let the family see the SUV for the first time, everyone was Shocked !! That Tahoe really stands out. My son-in-law was so impressed, he ran down to see what Gary Walker could do for him. Last night, he called me singing like a Lark. My Son-In-Law went from the Ford Focus to the beautiful Chevy Silverado Truck !! Thank you Gary. Today my daughter has an appointment with Gary to see if she can trade in her Chevy Equinox for the Suburban !! Gary Walker is AWESOME and HONEST. What can't we say enough about Tony Gutierrez. He is a diamond in the rough. First off, we live in New Braunfels and couldn't find the color combination on a 2017 Silverado 2500 HD anywhere in our area. We happened to find our next best color combination at Moritz Chevrolet in Fort Worth and decided to call about the truck. We didn't know anything about the dealership, so the operator put us in touch with Tony - must have been our lucky day, not sure it was Tony's! So, we had Tony work up a deal on this one truck, but ended up backing out because another dealership on the east coast had the exact truck color combo we wanted. We felt bad having to tell Tony we had found our first pick of color combination. Tony said "I can get you that same truck here, you should have told me what you wanted from the start." And so we put Tony through the paces to check out the truck before we made the 4 hour drive. He did a FaceTime with us so we could see the entire truck before we made the trek to Fort Worth to take delivery. I can't tell you how much time he spent making sure we were satisfied. We would definitely recommend Tony. He most assuredly goes the extra mile to get what you want and ensures your needs and expectations are met before and after the sale. I was helped by the very knowledgeable Brandon Barraza as soon as I walked in. He led me to his office and asked what I was looking for in terms of budget, payments, vehicle, interior space, motor, etc. He jotted a few things down and quickly found a few vehicles that matched my criteria. I asked him some questions and he answered all of them with no problem. A couple of minutes later, we were driving around the dealership looking at the vehicles that matched my preferences until we came across a silver ice metallic 2016 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab I couldn't help but fall in love with. I had to leave shortly after due to the fact I showed up late seeing as I work nights and I was late for work already. The next day, he picked up where we left off with no problem. A few signatures later, I was driving away in my brand new truck after he showed me how to work all the bells and whistles it came with. Best car buying experience ever! I located a 1500 Crew Cab Z71 online they had in stock. I contacted them online and verified they had it and went to look the next day. The truck was exactly what I wanted with a few exceptions. They gave me a bottom dollar price, significantly better than any other dealer I'd worked with and then went above and beyond by taking the steps needed to make the vehicle exactly like I wanted it but swapping out the tires and wheels and adding a leveling kit. Every single step of the process from start to finish was perfect, easy to deal with and without any hassle, hard sells or up selling. The finance guy, I think his name was Monte, he was a great guy and really went above and beyond to get me the best interest rate possible and saved me so much money I decided to buy the extended warranty (at a BIG discount). I've been back regularly since the purchase for the included free service that Chevrolet offers and it's been a great experience, fast service, excellent work and a nice comfortable waiting area. My experience with Moritz Chevy was amazing. Michael Ross was our salesman and he was totally on top of everything. Extremely helpful and was very kind. He explained my new car fully to me and was rather impressed with our overall experience. John Beam, the new sales manager, was great too! We were in a very tight crunch too, being upside down in my old vehicle due to the fact that my insurance company totaled out my vehicle due to catastrophic hail damage from a few weeks back. They said they could help us and they did. Got us into a brand new car, no money down, lower payments than on my last vehicle and a way lower interest rate. I just had a new baby and realized, while my current vehicle had a "third row", it really wasn't big enough for our growing family. A friend of mine recently bought a Traverse, and after crawling through it and sitting in every seat, I decided thats what we needed. I applied for financing online. When the Salesman, Jessie, contacted me, I let him know that coming in with a newborn and a toddler was just not an option for us- he eagerly assisted via text message and telephone (at my convenience). He handled my trade and found us the perfect vehicle. When we came to the dealership (kids in tow) he walked us up to our new car and we loved it. I started researching dealerships and cars to buy about a month before my purchase. The customer service I received from Robert Sanders at Moritz Chevrolet was completely amazing. I was contacted by a few other dealerships, Vandergriff, Huffines, etc. However, I chose to go with Moritz simply because I felt that my questions and concerns, no matter how simple, were addressed and answered every time. Also, Robert even took the time to text and call me to answer any questions I had. This is probably the easiest and most honest buying experience I've had. Tony Gutierrez and the sales managers never pressured us. We were able to have good honest conversations, and he worked hard on trying to get a certain color in for us. The only slight issue we had was with a different salesman. We were sitting in the showroom waiting for Tony G. Another salesman was showing a couple a Corvette, and we happened to be sitting behind it by the exhaust. Well the other salesman started the Corvette with us sitting a few feet behind it. Not very wise or considerate on his part. In the end, they worked with us and got us in our new Traverse. They set us up with a great deal. I know this because I went to 2 other dealerships, and they couldn't beat the deal or even meet it. We never felt scammed or deceived. I called the sales manager Monte Coon on a thurs night with a very specific request on a all white 2016 Z71 truck I had not been able to locate in several months. I drive all the way from Dallas to get my vehicle serviced at Moritz Chevrolet due to their exceptional service and the Moritz way of doing business. Believe it or not, you can have any GM vehicle serviced at any GM dealership. Suggestion: Use their website to set up a profile so you can do all your scheduling online and save time. You can even get handy service reminders via email. Moritz also has a special program for purchasers of previously owned vehicles. "The Moritz Promise" covers the drivetrain of your previously owned vehicle for the entire duration of your ownership after you purchase your car from Moritz. This is also true at their other locations (Chrysler and Kia). The only thing I could wish for is that Moritz still owned Moritz Cadillac, BMW and Mini in North Arlington, however I can still dream. Roberto Arevalo has processed the purchase highly professional and ensured all of my needs/wishes have been considered. This was the first dealer who cooperated and was able to hold a vehicle and lock the price for a few days. So that I could clarify the funding matters. The business is family owned, and it really shows in how they treat their customers. Susan at the front desk greeted me with a smile and made check-in easy.
