I purchased a brand new EV6 from Moritz Kia in 2023. It has had nothing but charging issues since we received it. This dealership has attempted 8 repairs and still faulty. It hasn't been drivable since November 2024, which was 9 months ago. Kia agreed to repurchase this vehicle in February and has dragged their feet at every step. At one point, customer care told me the process was completed. At this point, Kia owes me over $20k and I will be finding an attorney. I tried to work with Kia in good faith but they don't want to do the same. Avoid Kia/Hyundai EVs, they are broken and the dealers will lie to your face. Zero stars. Their price on the website and even when they contact you is not the price when you get their. You drive an hour for then to treat you like trash and tell you actually this is the price with no wiggle room. I just got off the phone with the service man at Kia in West Fort Worth and I told him the color I needed in a touchup paint pen and he says it doesn't matter. I still need the VIN number so I give him the VIN number he says you have to come in and pay for it, Now I live all the way in Burleson Texas and there in west Fort Worth. Why can't they take a payment over the phone and then I can come and pick it up when it's ready instead he says yeah you gotta come in. OK bye. Didn't get a chance to ask another question or ask him if they could do it over the phone and I'll be able to pick it up when they call me. Buyers beware, KIA is still making the same JUNK automobiles that they've always made. I bought this 2024 Telluride X-line for over $50k in February 2024. By April 2024 the passenger side door trim had fallen off. I took my car to the Kia service center and was told that all of the 2024 models had been recalled for this issue but the replacement parts were on back order and they advised me "just don't take your car to the car wash". It's now February 2025 and the issue has still not been resolved. This recall is one of several that have occurred since purchasing my vehicle. Spending over $50k on a car that constantly has issues and has a specific cosmetic issue that cannot be resolved makes me feel like I was duped. Justin was rude and condescending. Immediately only wants to know how your planning on paying and won't discuss out the door price before that. When we didn't want the tint/door caps/etc. that is part of the $2800 package they act like is mandatory add onto the vehicle. If the vehicle isn't fresh off the truck they'll have already installed them and try to force you to pay for them. Even acted like we couldn't ask for fabric instead of all weather floor mats as an option. They said they would take off the "VIP" $2800 scam finally and still tried to add $250 to the MSRP. Don't even try to ask for under MSRP or the manager will come in and say they don't need your business and someone more desperate or ignorant will fall for the high price. read more

Buyers beware beware beware...... This is the worst dealer at all time. We bought a brand new 2025 Carnival in December 2024 and delivered to us which is 3 hours away from the dealership. When the car arrived and we do the inspection, found out there is a crack on the climate control unit face screen, that's made the climate control not function properly. we did reported to the salesperson right away and he talk his manager and replied to us saying this is under the warranty and ask us to bring into any dealership around my area to fix it. But when we bring it to the dealership closed by, they told us it is not covered by warranty, the seller dealership should responsible. Now the seller dealerships which is (Moritz Kia Fort Worth) said once the vehicle leave their dealership, they have no liability to the vehicle. I didn't negotiate with their price and let them put a ceramic tint and charge me $2,000 more for this broken vehicle. They missed on their inspection and pass the broken not function vehicle to us. I paid $63,000 for a highly upgraded Telluride/SX Prestige. A piece of the exterior trim is coming loose on the passenger side under the window. The service manager told me they would order a new trim piece but the color (Black) will not match and I will have to pay $100 for it to be wrapped. My son has a tint shop in California. He told me the small piece of wrap for that trim will cost about $10.00. When I scheduled the appointment for service the woman told me a lot of other complaints have been made about this defect. For now they glued it in place but what will happen if I take it through the car wash? I'm wondering if they are having financial problems and that is why they have to be so petty as to charge me $100 to fix a faulty design feature and will the repair even fix the problem?? read more

Avoid Moritz Kia Service Department--Buyer Beware I've been holding off on writing this, but I'm officially fed up with the service department at Moritz Kia on West Freeway in Fort Worth. If you're considering buying a Kia, think twice--this is the only DFW location that handles repairs, and they're constantly overbooked with no reliable access to loaner vehicles. You could wait weeks just to get seen. I bought my 2021 Kia Sorento from CarMax on 2/17/25. Ten days later, the "Inverter Refill Coolant" light came on. I scheduled an appointment for 3/17/25 with Clint at Moritz Kia. On the day of the appointment, I was told they were "booked up" and asked to come back. I specifically asked if driving with the warning light on would damage the vehicle--Clint said no. He said they'd address it during my 42k service, scheduled for 4/18/25. On 4/8/25, my car sputtered and nearly stalled on the highway. I rushed to CarMax, who couldn't fix it but sent it to Kia and provided me a loaner. Christian became my new service advisor, and they handled the inverter issue and 42k service. After getting the vehicle back, it still idled roughly. On 4/30/25, I got a "Check Hybrid System - Stop Safely" warning. CarMax scanned it and couldn't detect an issue. Then on 5/10/25, the check engine light came on with the same hybrid system warning. Kia's system flagged an engine issue, and I used the EVO button to request service. Nataly contacted me and scheduled service for 5/27/25--but told me I might not get a loaner and would have to pay out of pocket. I refused. CarMax again stepped up, gave me a loaner, and sent my car back to Moritz. I visited Moritz on 5/19/25, shared my ongoing frustration since the first visit, and Christian assured me they'd resolve it. On 5/20/25, I was told the issue was likely valve-related and the vehicle was "ready." However, when CarMax picked up the car on 5/23/25 and I returned the loaner, the same "Inverter Refill Coolant" warning came back on immediately. CarMax couldn't detect the issue again and is sending it back to Kia. This is beyond frustrating. Moritz Kia's service team is either unequipped or unwilling to properly fix the vehicles they're supposed to specialize in. I'll be calling the service manager, Frank Juarez, on Monday (5/26/25) and will update this review based on how it's handled from here. As it stands--zero confidence. read more

i just upgraded my car from a 2011 to a 2022 kia. Hands down was one of the best experiences i have ever had. Megan was my sales rep and got the best offer for me and my family. I didnt have money to put down but they did take my car as a down payment and also fixed paying off my note (only 7000) and added the balance to my new note. What a life saver. The only thing i would say is the wait time to take to financial people was a little long. They only have three financial people so be ready to wait. Everyone was so friendly. This is quite literally the most disgusting and inexcusable experience I have ever had with a car dealership and that is hard to say because buying a car in DFW is rough to say the least. Here's a few things to know before going in; 1. they have a dealer addendum of almost $3000 they add to every car. Oh and maybe if you ask nicely they'll take off $200 of it. Now you get to pay $1700 for some wheel locks and a BS "security system". They will not budge on this. They are NOT open to negotiation. 2. Do not try to get under MSRP for any reason. Even though they are making a ton of money off the dealer hold back and the markup of the car, they will still insist on you paying AT LEAST MSRP for any car. And they will not budge no matter if the car has been sitting on the lot for a year, if it's damaged, nothing. 3. Zach, Scott, and Tim (Tim being the worst) are shady lying and deceitful salesmen that lied to me multiple times, said they would send me the sticker, said they would have their manager call me, and never did. I kept calling because (spoiler alert) I need a car and I don't have time to wait around all day for them to do their jobs. I kept trying to call, when they would see my number they would pick it up and then hang up immediately. I tried blocking my number, they would pick it up and hang up immediately. I'm sorry, get a different job if you don't like selling cars. Just because I didn't bend over backwards to buy your $3000 mark up for nothing doesn't give you the right to act like a child. I was excited when I found this dealership because they seemed to have a lot of options for cars. NOW I SEE WHY LOL. Good luck selling anything. Vasquez ask yourself why I would pay $3000 more for a car (for literally nothing) when I could take that $3000 and go buy a better car. Make it make sense read more

Back in March I was visiting different dealerships to test drive cars. I was immediately greeted by Raysen. He helped me test drive multiple trim levels of a sorento. When I test drive cars, I need an empty lot and Raysen was a champ at dealing with the quick accelerations and stops. After a bit of chatting, Raysen brought in George to talk about their newest car, the Telluride. I was slightly frustrated that this new addition messed with my month of car research, but now I am so thankful. They had one on the lot and I was able to test drive it (rare nowadays as they are sold before they hit the lot). I came back the two weeks to test drive again as I made my final decision, which sealed the deal. We negotiated and it was a smooth, easy process for the most part. I preferred working with Raysen and George because they didn't have a show off personality. They were genuine and honest. Long story short, I ordered the Telluride on 4/8/19 and it finally arrived on 8/7/19. It is an awesome car. I spoke with Scott in finance to fill out all the paperwork in person and a week after, when speaking over the phone, he seemed curt. After I finished my last thought, he hung up without saying goodbye. Maybe it's just me, but I felt offended. I highly recommend working with George and Raysen to look at cars. read more

Update to previous positive review. I was happy with my purchase from 2 years ago, until now- first time it needs service. I am told it's 12-14 days out just to have the service light looked at. Mind you this is not just for an appointment, but it must be left there for this long to first have it diagnosed, no loaners or anything to actually help until AFTER. I bought a used Kia Sorrento in 2015 with 13,000 miles on it. I was given the Moritz promise guarantee which was or is supposedly a lifetime powertrain warranty. Never owned a Kia before this. Around 100,000 miles I noticed the car starting to burn engine oil and brought that to the service person's attention which they said it's normal OK. During Covid they obviously had people quit which backed up service and I would have to be put on a waiting list just to get an oil change in 22 days so I started going to Jiffy Lube and have them put in my mobil one oil. Since then it's only gotten worse with the oil consumption. I've also replaced the catalytic converter which they wanted $3000 for. I got it done up the street for $700, one time they said an oxygen sensor was out. I replaced that I replace the PVC valve Which supposedly gets stuck and produces oil consumption REPLACED spark plugs. Now I have 208,000 miles on the vehicle and it's burning a quart of oil every fill up. So I'm thinking if I own a company that I know just went through three different class action lawsuits, one being the engine, another being the brakes and another being the theft control on the vehicle because half your insurance companies won't insure a Kia or Hyundai that has a key start because the theft it is so bad, look at Chicago and now Baltimore. The cities themselves are suing Kia and Hyundai because it's taking away their police officers to track down car thieves. I've brought this up to Kia several times they say the way that they check it out is they put some sort of a pressure checker in your first spark plug to see if it's getting enough I guess pressure between the piston and spark plug I don't know at one time people would put a tablet on top of the steering wheel, and it would analyze the sound of the motor, that came from a guy that used to work for Kia and Hyundai. If you have any questions, I would go and look for a book called Carl's garage. I would even recommend Moritz Kia buying that book and go through the book that he wrote on his own dime that he sells on his website straight out of comment or just search Carl's garage and read all the Articles that he has found regarding the lawsuits, the publications and everything regarding your car. If I gave out "the promise" and I really did believe in the promise I would've contacted all my clients that had purchased a car from me to come in and check them. I'd even probably hire a whole separate division to resolve that issue, I was told by one person up their "when the motor seizes just bring it in", to me as a real estate agent that's like saying you know, I know they put some appliances in here that have a gas leak so when your house blows up, give me a call and I will rebuild your house. Sounds like common sense, right? Don't run your car engine dry because if you bring your car in and has no oil in it, your warranties void. Don't do anything to the car. Make sure you have proper documentation because that's gonna take their consideration of replacing your motor or not even though there's a class lawsuit stating that the motor sucks there's also another YouTuber out there that buys engines parts them out and sells different components and he broke down a GDI motor and you could see all the holes in the engine and pieces in the oil pan from the piston rod just blowing up took. He out the oil pan and chunks of metal were down in there he would show you different areas where literally the parts of the piston had gone through the engine block. Terrible. Kia I will have to say makes a beautiful car great designers they even had a world engine. I heard in 2010 that means that the engine when they made it was so good that it was used in different makers cars not just Kia and Hyundai but something changed. I personally will never ever buy another Kia again or Hyundai I'm just going to ride this out and get a new Toyota and as my back up car 2009 jaguar XJR Portofino because at least I can work on the jaguar as it was owned by Ford at that time. My wife has always said the brakes were terrible in that vehicle, I even took a service guy for a ride in there and slammed on the brakes and it stopped about 10 or 15 feet going 45 miles an hour. I took the same service person for another ride in my GMC Yukon and it pretty much stopped on a dime, could've gone through the windshield because it stopped so fast, that's I guess American made. I know some of these are made in America but let's do something about it read more

RUN FAR AWAY. If I could give zero stars I would. This place will take your money then completely disregard its obligations to you and they don't care at all about customer service. I ordered a car in February and when it arrived in August I was rushed in to sign and pay for it. I did that on a Monday and was told the car would be ready by the end of the week. It wasn't and the dealer basically stopped communicating. Finally after my husband and I both called and emailed multiple times we finally got the car after being told there was a problem with it they had to fix. The dealer agreed to handle registering the car but we are now almost 2 months out from purchase with no registration and again a complete lack of communication despite multiple attempts to call and email for an update. No one touched the car. No communication from their side except when I called to tell them not to touch it and that I was towing it another place. Within 20 minutes of that call, they called me to let me know that the tech had looked at it and thought the engine was blown. Really? 20 minutes? I had it towed to Christian Brothers and it was ready the next day. No, the engine wasn't blown. Kia just wanted me to pay for a new engine. I have a big issue going on with my car and have been calling since yesterday to get someone from service to reach out to me. I have left a voicemail and no response. I figured I'd call early this morning to see if I could get a hold of someone and nothing. I have been calling non-stop and have gotten nowhere. Something needs to be done about their phone system.
