Excellent! Highly recommend. I wanted a evaluation of my 2010 Infiniti to see if I should sell it and get an electric car or would my Infiniti likely last another 5 years. My car only has 60000. He did a thorough examination found a steering fluid leak, minor, that will eventually need repair but no hurry. And his estimate to repair was $700 less than the dealer ship. read more

During exceptionally cold weather, 12 degrees, the warning light in my VW came on with an addition message of needing antifreeze. I took the car to J and N and the mechanic put in the antifreeze that I had in the back of the car. When asked how much I owed them, the mechanic said no charge. read more

If you enjoy atrocious service when getting your vehicle serviced then come here. Otherwise go literally anywhere else. My car broke down late last night and I had this mechanic referred to me so I had my car towed here. I left a voicemail that evening explaining the situation and that I would be following up first thing in the morning. When I called this morning to explain the situation I was promptly yelled at for damage caused to an employee sign caused by the tow company (which I was unaware of and not present for). I was then refused auto service, and was threatened to have my car towed to an impound yard if it was not removed by 3 PM. Luckily the tow company made it right and gave me a free tow to a new mechanic, justify the way this auto shop operates. This is a terrible shop, with disgusting and horrible service and care for their clients. Don't give them a dime. read more

My car battery died on a Wednesday evening, J&N penciled me in for Thursday morning. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Very kind and helpful!

This is where I go for all my car work. At first, I went for convenience because they were up the road but after a couple visits decided to go here for everything in the future. The Good: -They stand by their work. They fixed something on my last car and it needed to be fixed again. Instead of treating me like it was my fault, they fixed it again with no charge and no complaints. - They work pretty fast. If you get your car there in the morning, you'll be looked at quickly and they'll get back to you about what needs to be done. - They're really nice. At first, the lady (who I think is one of the owners) seems kind of grumpy but she really is polite and nice. She has a dry sense of humor that I appreciate. The bad: - No one likes paying a bunch of money for car repairs and they do charge money for car repairs. No matter what, this sucks. But they're a business and they make my car run so that's ok. Stick with the local guys and go see them. You'll be glad you did. read more

Just as temperatures in Fort Worth started reaching the low 100s, my truck started overheating. After doing the basics like topping off the radiator fluid and making sure the reservoir was full, I decided it needed to be looked at by someone with skills. J & N is in my neighborhood and I have heard numerous people give it props so I popped in to see if they could assist me. I also had a few other things that needed to be done to it like having the A/C serviced, an inspection done and the A/C condensation drain cleaned. The lady that helped me, I wish I had gotten her name, was nice, and straightforward and got her people to work on my truck while we filled out the paperwork. While I waited for my ride to work to arrive, their technician diagnosed the issue, a leaking radiator which they showed me, and gave me an estimate, which I approved. Still waiting for my ride, they ordered the radiator. My ride arrived and I left for work, and the later got some lunch and as I was finishing my lunch, they called to let me know the work was done and that my truck was ready. They did test the A/C system for proper pressure, and as it was in fine working order, they tested the A/C with the truck at running temperature. It seems that the radiator repair fixed the issues I was having with it, so they didn't need to service the A/C system. This was a great indicator of their honesty as people and as a business. I will take my truck there for its regular maintenance, inspections and any work I need done in the future. Thanks! read more

These guys are the best. I try to avoid going to a mechanic for work on my truck by fixing things myself, but an electrical issue had me stumped on what was wrong. The guys at J & N Auto diagnosed the issue and had it repaired in less than two hours on my day off. The service was professional and I was greeted by name. After getting an incredibly overpriced quote from another shop in town, I called J & N. Their customer service was excellent and their price they quoted me was incredibly reasonable. I dropped my car off in the morning and had it by the end of the day. Fast and efficient. They were also very good and up front at explaining the work they did. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be a repeat customer for future repairs and service needs. read more

I'm not sure why I bothered coming back a second time. The lady you have to deal with is so rude. Every time I come in the lobby she just looks at you and has made me twice wait for her while she chats on the phone for 10+ minutes. No "sorry I'll be with you in a minute" nothing. Like you're not there. When I came to pick up my car she told me "well now you're going to have to wait for me to do your paperwork if you had called you wouldn't have to wait like this".... on top of it I asked her twice if the part she was saying I needed had a recall because I believed it did. Twice she said no. Guess what, it had a recall. Second time I have left without getting my car actually fixed by them because of an outrageous price. read more

They were not only able to find and fix the issue quickly, but with his expertise, we were spared any unnecessary, extensive diagnostics/costs. This place is run and filled with employees with no formal training. I paid $750 just to drive away with a new fuel pump and the same broken car I had fixed there. I am not the only one to have had this experience here. Never using them again, and I highly recommend you don't either. read more

The new owner is great! I had taken my car there with previous owners before and it was fine. Recently was having some problems with my car and went back. Younger guy who has been working there for a while bought the place. Ended up being a simple fix and inexpensive. I felt it was a chance that any other mechanic would have taken and ripped me off, but he was fast and honest. I will be going back. read more

Latest thing was a Honda van with a clunk in the front end. Lots of people on line making guesses but J & N just fixed it in half a day and it is perfect. First used them 20 years ago when my cars were rougher, got some new cars so let the dealer do warranty work, tried 2 highly rated places closer to home BUT J & N IS THE BEST. I lived off of Pembroke and Forest Park Blvd in the Berkeley neighborhood for about 13 years. I took my Toyota there for some work onetime. Someone broke into my car and stole my radio, etc... There was no sign of forced entry and the car was basically trashed but I was able to clean it up. I guess I should be thankful that the person or people that broke into my car (or unlocked my car) didn't take a piss or a dump in it. Oh well, I no longer live in Fort Worth. If I did, I would never go back to J & N Auto. I hope you don't have the same experience. read more

These guys tried to rip me off!! I went in this morning because my check engine light came on, and even just dropping off my keys the woman working the front desk seemed to have a bad attitude. Came back an hour later and they gave me a long list of things wrong with my car, and said it would be almost $2000 to fix everything and that it wasn't worth their time or my time to do the repairs but they WOULD do it if I wanted. Their attitude put me off, so I decided to drive down the road to get a second opinion. Only 1 out of the 5 things they found broken on my car was actually broken (saw it with my own two eyes!), and I got it fixed for a fraction of the cost that J&N estimated. And funnily enough, my check engine light originally went on because silly me didn't tighten my gas cap enough, so that was tightened for free ;) Bottom line, I wasted my time and saved $2000, never going here again. read more
