It was topped with fresh berries and peanut butter. We shared tacos with chorizo and egg, which I also rate 5. My latte had too much strong coffee and too little milk, and I rate it 1. Morning Squeeze should be called Slow Morning. We were told it would be a 15-20 min wait for a table - no problem, but it ended up being 50 minutes. Tried to order drinks while we waited, but had to wait 20 minutes to even place the order. Once we were seated, no one came to greet us. After another 20 minute wait, we had to get up to ask the hostess if we had a server. She said she would get us water and send someone over right away. The server apologized for the delay and took our order for drinks and food. Only 3 of 4 drinks were served, we never did get water and again had to get up to ask about the 4th drink. Finally that came followed by only 3 of the 4 meals. Two of the side dishes were missing and no silverware was provided. Again, we had to get up to ask for silverware, and then again for hot sauce. When the 4th meal didn't come after 15 minutes, we again had to get up and ask the status. Throughout this ordeal we remained calm and polite with the employees, recognizing they were understaffed. When we asked to speak to the manager, he acknowledged all the issues we'd experienced and said he was watching it happen - yet never stepped in to help or apologize or take measures to correct anything. This business is horribly mismanaged from planning and staffing to ensuring a good customer experience. If you value your time, pick another breakfast spot! read more

Went here with the bf new years morning. The area was dead but the service was alive and great! Quick and friendly. The cocktails were good--really liked the Bloody Mary and the recommendation from our server was great because there are several options on the menu. The quiche was good. The eggs weren't real, the biscuit had to be two days old because it was dry and brittle, if it was fresh, fire whomever made them! The potatoes were seasoned well but could've been cooked a little longer.. The bacon was the only saving grace on the plate! Super cute little brunch spot! My friend and I came here for brunch on a Friday morning so it wasn't packed at all and we were seated outside on the patio right away. We each ordered their Mimosa Flight which was absolutely delicious. I ordered the smoked salmon benedict which was also really delicious. I think it's a little salty with the capers on it but I still enjoyed it. Customer service was really good and if you check in then you'll get a free cup of coffee. There were plenty of seats available on the patio bar, so we sat there. I like the setup; there's an indoor and outdoor bar and the servers take care of all the customers there. And not the good kind of food at Barrett I'm talking about the one at Hassy or the Student Union. Not seasoned, steak was grey on the outside and rare on the inside, hangover pork was cooked well but a dearth of taste - just underwhelming. Fries looked exactly like the stock potatoes you get at a Sysco chain restaurant. I guess it's busy because of it's location on Mill and proximity to West 6th? I visited this establishment in hopes of enjoying a nice breakfast and drink but instead I sat at the bar and was not greeted nor offered any water or assistance within 2-3 minutes. Once I was acknowledged I was just given a menu and still no offer of water or anything else to drink. And to top it off my lady asked for the counter to be wiped and thanked the waitress for doing so but was not given a you're welcome or any type of acknowledgment. I will be sharing this information with my family and friends who spoke so highly of this establishment specifically the one in Downtown Phoenix.
