I absolutely love this place. When you walk in the doors the first time it can give a vibe of being a dive bar and I was always hesitant to come here when I first moved to the area. Don't judge a book by its cover. I've been coming here regularly for several years now. The drinks are reasonably cheap and they always have specials. The staff are AMAZING they are beyond friendly and they're very attentive even the managers will work their tails off when the bar is slammed. I've never left this place with a bad experience. Their food is phenomenal! Like I said when I first came here it seemed like a dive so I was always hesitant on the food but I have to say it's my favorite bar food. You can tell the food is great because if you sit by the bar long enough you'll see people placing orders for pick up on a regular basis as well which is a great indicator. I dont even know how to rate this place because food and service are on two complete sides of the spectrum... I used to come here years ago late night for cocktails... I was turned on to their menu not long ago... The first time I went to eat, it was damn near perfect. Then... Monday happened. Arrived here for dinner a few minutes after 5pm. Sat at one of the high top tables near the bar.... After about 5 minutes... our server Amanda came over and asked for our drink order... She came back with our drinks two min later and we immediately gave her our food order.. One fried cauliflower app and a caesar wrap and a greek wrap. Then we sat. And sat. And sat. And sat. Watched one of the bartenders (Heather?) not really doing anything Watched our waitress/bartender flirt with a guy at the bar, serve one table, etc.. So we sat... and sat... After about an hour (NO JOKE- IT WAS 6:18) my boyfriend grabbed the guy that was running around (manager?) & asked him what the deal was & that we had been waiting over an hour. He apologized and said he would be right back. Two min later our app came out... Five more min.... our wraps. Now, I got the same wrap as I did the first time I was there. Last time it was a 10. No doubt. This time? A 7.A little dry. This place cracks out so many pickup orders its insane. There was just loads and loads of food constantly coming out of the kitchen. It was insane. Unfortunately, I think that is why our food was just pretty good this time... and not AMAZING. Keep in mind this WHOLE TIME, Amanda has still not come back to our table. So still sitting there done with our meal, my BF finally got so annoyed with waiting he start calling her from across the bar. He asked for a to go box and the check. She brought me the box and I asked for a little cup of the vinaigrette that was on my wrap and this chic tells me that she would have to charge me for it. " I am sorry... WHAT?!?" My bf then told her again that we waited over an hour for our food yada yada and she says that she doesnt make the rules but she''ll see what she can do... I told her I dont want it. She then comes back with it and says that she was sorry... it was not her rules. MAYBE if this chic came to our table ONE TIME i could have asked for it then. I have never left a restaurant so mad in my life. This place has got great food... and apparently a manager that does EVERYTHING while his bartenders do zip. Went in. Sat at a booth. No one comes. Moved to a table. No one comes. Finally, figure we should move to the bar where they can't help but see us. Eventually, one of the bartenders comes over and asks for our drink order. They are out of the special. Of course. I'm updating my review for a very simple reason. I used to enjoy this place, but it seems like the quality of service has gone down substantially. During the day the service is( or was) great. I haven't been back because the last two times I went here at night I was treated poorly and cut off. The first time they said I was so drunk I spilled my drink on the bar, which I didn't. It was some drunk fool who backed into me while I was minding my own business at the bar. The second time they called me a cab and told me to simply leave. When inquired what I had done wrong the manager told me to "Get the fuck out before I call the cops." I calmly told him to give me my debit card and I would leave. Very nice and friendly neighborhood bar. Food is very very good actually and decent drink specials. The 4 am licence is a plus too. Two pool tables in the back which are clean with good cues. Wonderful outside smoking area gets extra points. Patrons always seem normal decent people and bartenders and servers are too. They tend to play the music a little too loud in the main bar area and parking is slim. This place can get real packed after 2am on weekends. I can't believe I have never rated this place! I could have sworn I did... ?? I came the first time for a book club night and was skeptical based on other reviews, but could not believe the menu and size of the items served. I had the burger but the size of group we had pretty much ordered something from every part of the menu and all looked delic. The salads were huge! As were the burgers. Our server was meh.... but we were a big group and despite being less than cheery she did work pretty hard. Since then I have ordered take-out from here numerous times. It's almost impossible to find an accurate menu online for this place so pick one up if you're in the area or when you stop to get your first take-out order. I've ordered sandwiches, burgers and salads take-out and have been pleased with everything. I've gone to Morrison's on numerous occasions and just can't do it anymore. The individuals who work the door have a serious god complex....I understand it is their job to maintain safety and security, however if you look a certain way you will be expected to provide multiple forms of identification. They will also mutter rude comments under their breath as they walk by your table. The servers are also somewhat inattentive and indifferent to customers. Morrison Roadhouse is one of the best hamburgers in the area. I love the small bar atmosphere that also has a very diverse menu for this small bar environment. Really good food and drink deals. I live very close by, so this place has become a frequent for me. I've tried a lot of different things at this place and haven't been disappointed yet. The chicken tenders and wings are seasoned well and are big. The burgers are huge and the pizzas are tasty. They also have a good number of salads in case you want to keep things lighter. And they always have good drink deals, particularly their 22 oz beers for $6. I wish yelp would let you deduct or add half a star because I'd want to give this place a 4.5 for the fact that their pizzas take a really long time to make and they don't warn you of that. But overall, this is a good bar with really good food. Just don't being coming in here expecting a fancy-romantic candle-lit dinner. I go to the roadhouse often. It is a, great place to have some drinks and awesome food. They have a good dj on fridays and saturdays. I always come back to the bar because of the fantastic bartender that goes by the name of Naomi. I think I spelled it right. She's has been nothing but great. She always checks up on me to see if I'm ok with my drink. I have brought tons of friends there and they all have said the same about her. I personally think she is the best bartender I have ever dealt with.sher makes the environment so much fun. I finally tried their food and love the place even more! All their food is fresh and handmade, it's NOT that crappy pre-made frozen stuff thrown into a fryer. The chicken tenders are actually real pieces of chicken with a homemade batter. The burgers are outstanding too. I didnt go there for beers like most.. just for a sunday afternoon burger. All in all, not bad food... priced alittle higher then most but you get what you pay for. I do have to agree with most reviews; it was loud as hell in there.
