Decided to come here on a Sunday. We were greeted at the door and our id's were checked. No problems there. The bar itself is quite spacious. There are a few tables inside the restaurant. Draft beer selection was meh, Spaten, Hacker-Pschorr, Stella, Blue Moon and a few others. Nothing to write home about. Ordered the appetizer sampler, the mozzarella sticks, and mac and cheese bites were good, the hot wings were decent (they have hot or mild, the hot is actually pretty hot). The chicken tenders seemed somewhat undercooked, and were not crispy whatsoever. I was not a fan. The bartender Jessica was very cordial, and the service was good. She recommended an Axe Murderer for one of my colleagues who was happy with the recommendation. We were also lucky enough to receive a round of jagerbombs from her. Yay! The bar back gave us a rag to clean up when we spilled some of our drink, nice gesture. Came back to talk to us later, pleasant fellow. Last night I was at Morrison's from about 10 to 2am. The night was great, sitting with some close friends literally "laughing our asses off" and having a fun Friday night out. Everything was going well until... Some guy named Geno who was sitting at the next stool over and kept bugging us to do shots of some green melon stuff. The kid was friendly and he kept saying how he would like to buy us all shots so we accepted. (He kept making comments on our breasts and how the melon shots were so us) SO immature! Bar tenders were super friendly and quite patient with the obnoxious drunk. Again he made comments to them and about their "melons." After Geno had fallen off his stool, the bartenders asked Geno to slow down and offered him water. He refused and ordered another beer and put his head on the bar and was falling asleep. The security came up and asked this man to leave and wanted to call him a cab. Then "Geno" flipped, screaming and throwing punches which almost hit one of my girlfriends.Enough is enough! Thank goodness for the security escorting him out. My car was the 1st one parked by the door, as the IDIOT was leaving he slammed his hands on the hood of my car setting the alarm off. Now this is where I had it! What turned out to be a good night went sour quick thanks to one guy who was drinking like he was a frat party. I come to this place often and I like the food and the wait staff. Last time I was here, something happened that really bothered me. One of the regulars (who is usually asleep at the bar) actually grabbed the arms of 3 young ladies as they walked in the door and asked them for their id's. Bartenders are simply trash. We could hear them talking about us as if we were not even there. They drink more than they serve I would be willing to guess. Maybe if the one bartender wasn't sleeping with her male manager she would put more focus on the customers. There's no doubt that each year, lots of people fall in love with their co-workers or their bosses. Other employees typically get swept up in workplace romances through the gossip mill. The food is really good. The salads are huge. We probably eat here 2-3 times a week. The service, however, is not the best. The man I think is a manager/owner is helpful...The blonde, older server is really nice and does her job well, too. Sometimes see her during lunch hours. The two brunettes seem extremely ignorant to everything and always ignore you no matter how busy. Unless you are an older man who tips for tits, they seem like it is a bother for them to actually do their job. Multiple times I would stand at the bar waiting to order a drink or to pick up a to-go order and one of them will make eye contact with me, yet still stand there ignoring me for her phone or to fill up her own drink. Sucks because I am a hefty tipper and if they actually would just do their job they'd make more money off me. Such a disappointment for the hard workers in the kitchen because their food is just so good, but the service will keep paying customers away. read more

I loved this bar until tonight. I accidentally ordered a wrap that I thought was completely different than what I had ordered. I said something to the bussboy and the manager came up to me 5 minutes later rudely explaining to me that I had messed up how I ordered the wrong wrap, and what I received was actually what I should have gotten. He gave me the impression that they were going to make the right wrap and bring it to me at no charge. I waited 10 minutes and instead without even asking I got my check brought to me forcing me to pay for the food I didn't want that I didn't even eat. Big improvement from when it went through renovation, when it was the Niles Inn. The Niles Inn was a dark, and dingy place, but was a place to hit for the late a night stop. Now as Morrison's the place is much airier, and alot cleaner. Prices were reasonable, and the food was good. They have several pool tables, which were open, and in descent shape. Crowd was light being that I arrived around 9pm, but the bartender informed me it gets way busy around 2am, when the other bars in the area close, and they have a 4am license. read more

We were the only ones on the restaurant side of the place, and asked 4 separate times for them to change the channel from music videos to SportsCenter (which is usually on), so we could catch up on yesterday's football games. After the last, friendly request, we were told the manager would not change it, as that television was linked to the sound system, and he'd rather listen to music. No one else in there was listening to the load music and R-rated videos, but he had to have it on so we could talk over it. Couldn't even come over to explain it himself. This place has a couple of drunk, sloppy bartenders that nearly tried to fight me one time. Another girl and I were in there talking about the terrible service we were both receiving and the brunette bartender rudely says "uh I can hear you!" I was like "...uhh ok?..." We walked out to the patio and since other people I was with go there often they told me to leave a nice tip as to not sabotage one of their neighborhood bars. Fine. I did just that. When we were paying I left a $10 tip for a $30 bill. Since these bimbo bartenders clearly weren't able to do math in their intoxicated state, they didn't understand that I left a 33% tip! As I was walking out the door they started yelling at me telling me they heard me talking shit and the tip I left wasn't "genuine," what does that even mean!? It's money that I had to work for, that went into YOUR POCKET! They were screaming at me nearly hopping over the bar, pointing fingers in my face, the whole nine yards. When the manager/owner(?) guy started overhearing our argument, he stepped in and yelled at the girls to be quiet and cut it out. Just dined here with my sisters and bro-in-law. The wait staff was great....but the Jarvis St. Italian Beef was dry and the Italian Sub had to be returned. The summer sausage tasted and smelled old. The manager came out and challenged me. He told me that they are on top of their inventory. So I must be wrong. I took one bite, and tasted that something wasnt right. I smelled the meat. Pepperoni and ham were fine. The summer sausage was old and tasted spoiled. Sent the sandwich back. Didn't appreciate the manager treating me like I didn't know what I was talking about. RUDE bartender(Danielle)!! My boyfriend and i were there playing pool for two hours. On my third drink, i had a receipt floating in the bottom of my drink. Not too big of a deal (not high maintenance) my boyfriend respectfully went up to the bar and addressed the subject to the bartender (Danielle) and she rudely responded "well there was not a receipt in there when i gave it to you" boyfriend said "why would I put a receipt in my girlfriends drink?" I went to Morrisons about 2 months ago for the first time and i was hooked. I went their for my friends birthday party and I had a great time. I love how they have the Big Bottles of Beers. The food was delicious and was of high quality. I believe i forgot to mention that The women bartenders were beautiful and so was the waitress. I have gone back and taken a couple of my friends and they also love it. We have now included this place as our hang out spot so we can socialize, eat and have a drink at the same time. I'm too bummed to have to add a review shockingly (sarcasm) a lot like others that are posted. The owner is a big jerk. I got home from a trip and put the kids to bed. Didn't have it in us to cook, so we ordered their burgers (they are, admittedly, damned good and they have awesome fries) and brought them home. Hubbs and I ordered different burgers - he got the one with chorizo, jalapeno peppers and an egg (Spanish Moon, I think) and I got a build your own plain jane-ish. Well, it was about 9:30 pm when we ate... 2am comes and his stomach is upset; 8 am he's throwing up and other expelling goodness... I waited until late Wednesday afternoon to call in case we had a stomach flu or something. Nope. Hubbs was the only person who got sick, and once it was out it was out. I called and the "manager" was decent, if not skeptical. She said she'd tell the owner and have him call me the next day when he came in. Well, he called alright. He proceeded to tell me my husband had the stomach flu, and that any doctor would tell me that it takes 24 hours for food poisoning to set in (not true, by the way) and that 4 other people had eaten that burger that night, that HE CALLED them, and that his restaurant had a clean bill of health for 15 years so to stop "going around telling people" his food got my husband sick. Also, that his wife and kids were all throwing up at home. Well, me and MY kids weren't, and my husband only was because of your food. Until now, the only people told about the food poisoning was the place where we got it from. Telling customers that they have no value to him is a wrong move, and a bad business tactic. Not only were we simply acting as conscientious consumers, letting them know that someone had POSSIBLY gotten sick from their food, we weren't even asking for anything in return. To be basically yelled at and told "thanks for your past business" and then hung up on is rude and invites bad reviews here and other places. I'd suggest that he hire a manager who can deal with the public and stick to keeping the books, but I'm guessing he'll tell me to eff off. I'm also considering making a report with the Better Business Bureau and I have CERTAINLY told my friends who live nearby not to go there after his call to me. Unbelievable. read more

We wanted something good and quick after picking our daughter, who lives nearby, from O'Hare. We had excellent food and service. Molly was tending bar and waiting tables and was prompt and as courteous as anyone could ask for in a server. My BLT with extra B was one of the best I have had in a long time, a place that knows that BACON is the first and foremost ingredient in a BLT. I went with the homemade chips which were very good but after trying my daughter's tater tots, I will opt for them when I go back., Luckily there is more than enough for two when one orders them.
