Don't go to the service department!!! I took my vehicle to Morristown Chevrolet for a routine oil change. As soon as I drove off the lot, the engine ran poorly, with rough idle and sluggish performance. When I brought it back, I was told the spark plugs likely needed replacing. After paying for new spark plugs, the vehicle still ran badly, smoked from the exhaust, and even backfired. The dealership kept my vehicle for a week to diagnose the problem, then told me nothing was wrong and suggested I take it to another mechanic. That mechanic found the issue in about 15 minutes: Morristown Chevrolet had failed to drain the old oil during the oil change, leaving approximately 14 quarts of oil in the engine. The overfilled oil caused all the symptoms, and the spark plugs never needed to be replaced. After this experience, I have no confidence in their service department. I've received better service and diagnostics from Jiffy Lube! I would not recommend Morristown Chevrolet's service department. read more

When my 2022 GM vehicle began acting up, I took it to Morristown Chevrolet , not knowing that I would bring months of severe stress into my life. The service department kept my vehicle almost an entire month the first time they had it, yet I encountered the very same issue less than two miles from the garage. I believe that their initial failure to diagnose and repair my vehicle has now led to more serious damage. I expect, at this point, that it will take hiring an attorney to remedy all that the initial negligence has caused. So please do yourself the favor of having your vehicle repairs done elsewhere. You probably do not want to purchase a vehicle here either since you never know when a new vehicle might have serious problems these days. read more

I would not recommend, I honestly didn't even want to give them a star, because they're definitely not worthy of it. I bought a vehicle, several days later they they delivered it, which I live almost 3 hours away. Acted like it was going to die, and A/C was blowing hot air, checked the oil it was low. Took it back to them, they fixed it. Told me, I was good to go. Drove it for another week and a half. Low oil light came on, I called them, and told them I didn't know what to do, or call. Then they proceeded to tell me, their records indicated it had an oil leak, and they told me about it, and I told them not to worry about it. Which is a lie, I didn't find out til I called about the low oil. So, I had to take it back down there, which I went to Rod Run, so it wasn't far from Pigeon Forge. They gave me a loaner vehicle, they had my vehicle for 8 or 9 weeks. Basically, had to rebuild the engine, or that's what they said. Anyway, they called and told me it was ready for pick up, and I told them I would need some time and they said they would call me back the next day. I didn't hear from them for another week, which I missed the call, figured they found another issue, they call a week later. Tell me they was getting ready to go to level 2, no clue what that is, but I definitely asked with no response. They brought me back my vehicle, I drove it for three days, and now it won't start, and it was burning oil. So, they're sending a tow truck to come get it, so they can fix it again. I had to get a lawyer involved, so they would talk to me, because they kept avoiding my calls, so they would transfer me to another dealership. They were supposed to call me today to see about getting a loaner, and I still haven't heard anything. Surprise Surprise. They finally called and, i asked about a loaner or a rental and they said why would we do that? Ummm, because you have had my vehicle inyour shop 4 times and it's the right thing to do. So, I'm having to rent a rental, to travel for cheer and basketball games. You know, the main reason i went in debt to buy a vehicle I would recommend a buy here pay here lot, or any other dealership besides here, and if you need your vehicle serviced, definitely don't bring it here. Because, they're definitely not honest or trustworthy. I would also, do your research about who owns what dealerships in Morristown. Because, they own several, and I wouldn't recommend any of them. And, their sales manager is worthless, among other things but I'm not going to give them a reason to take down my review! read more

I would give this dealership zero stars if possible. Honestly, it was the worst car-buying experience of my life. I have bought many cars and highly encourage you to avoid doing business with them. I wish I had never done business with this dealership. Update: My van was finally picked up and the rental was arranged. However, the dealership did not fix the repairs needed before bringing it back as 80% of the major scratches over the hood, tailgate, and door handles were still there and clear as day. Here are the names of associates I dealt with, with staff, and photos of the conversation and of the scratches that are still there after the supposed "repair" so you can avoid the headache I went thru. I did not do it originally to protect their reputation in case Morristown Chevrolet could make this right. Instead, they tried to pay me off to take my review down with an insulting offer, which I declined. I owe $212 for a tag renewal that they messed up and only offered me $80 to make peace with it. They thought that since I was refunded $135 from the original deal that that made up the difference. The $135 wasn't even communicated and we certainly did not expect that to be a part of their resolution to the issue as we were to get that back anyways. On June 28, my wife and I traded in a vehicle for a van because of our expanding family. The van had several cosmetic issues on the outside and inside of the vehicle. Because I do not live near the dealership, the dealership brought the van for us to review and sign paperwork to finalize the deal. Part of that deal was for them to repair these cosmetic issues. A couple of days later, they brought the van to our home with the exact same issues as we first saw the first time and then drove off with our trade-in. Nothing had changed. Mike Trymbar (GSM), who I was working with, stopped speaking with me and ignored my text messages shortly after. I actually have text messages showing that Mike lied to me about the details of our contract. Part of our trade-in was transferring our current tag to the new vehicle. Instead, the dealership generated a new tag for my vehicle without telling me and I drove around for a month with an invalid tag, thinking I was waiting for the new registration. I know this because I called the dealership to ask where the new registration information was and they told me that a new tag was generated and that the old tag was not transferred. Today, Aug 8th, they were supposed to come to pick up the van around 9 to 10 AM and would arrange for a rental at enterprise so we had a vehicle while it was being repaired. At 12:30 PM, they call me and tell me they are 40 minutes out from my location. The gentleman arrive and proceed with trying to collect my van without providing me any of the enterprise rental information. They said that enterprise should come and pick me up. So I called the local enterprise location to verify the reservation. Neither of the two locations near me had a reservation under my name. Spencer Price (Manager) then tells me if I go to the location, the Information for the car would be there. So I went with the gentlemen trying to collect my van to enterprise and they confirmed that they did not have a reservation. The reservation was made out of Mississippi, not Western North Carolina like it should have. Enterprise says that the only way I walk out with the vehicle is if I pay for it out of pocket. I proceeded to thank a gentlemen for coming the 2 hour Trek to get my van, but told them that we were not going to be exchanging vehicles today. I called Spencer Price (Manager) to explain what had happened and expressed my dissatisfaction with this level of customer service. Ultimately, he blamed Enterprise for the mistake. It was not the enterprise's fault that I lost six hours of my day because the drivers did not show up three hours after what was originally communicated and the reservation was not made correctly, which took another 3 hours to figure out was wrong. I took the whole day off without pay to do this. I told them until they could provide me actual reservation information that, I could verify at my local enterprise to not come and pick my van up for the repair. read more

We are literally about to pull into the parking lot and I get a text saying it was sold. Wasted a whole afternoon for absolutely nothing. I take the day off work, drive out there. They offer 600 a month payments. I currently pay 315. That's is double payment, not equal. Complete waste of time. Liars!!
