Boy did I luck out finding this man! I've been living with my headliner sagging slowly in my 1994 Dodge Spirit for the past year. I finally found a way to get the money together to get it fixed. I'm age 67, been disabled the past 30 years, I'm on SSI these days and living with a 30 year old car. I expect to keep my car until I'm age 70. The car runs very well after having it fixed up when the COVID19 pandemic started some 4 years ago. I love my old car too and its faithfulness. I also can't afford a newer used car just yet. As you can see by the photos I've uploaded, the headliner was really falling away from the ceiling. If you even tried to pin it or tape it, the fabric would just tear and fall apart in your hand. I knew if I didn't get if fixed, I could be pulled over by a police officer, because the sagging fabric was heavily blocking my rear view window. I recently went to work looking on the internet for a place near me: Someone who I hoped would do good work, but not charge me an arm and a leg to get the work done. I found such a place here in the San Fernando Valley. No joke! What caught my attention with Morro was the way the website was worded. The wording made me see a man who cared about those who came to him for his help. So I called and set up a time to bring the car in. I met with Morro himself and found him to be as caring as his write up represented him to be. I found him a very pleasant man to meet and talk with in person. I struggle with a serious disability at age 67. I have to use a doctor prescribed back brace and walking cane to help me balance, as I struggle with a herniated disc and surrounding damaged tissue. So even when I drove the car up to his shop, he told me I didn't even have to get out of the car, because of my bad back. He said he would view the car from the back seat, as he got into the car. It only took him a quick look before he could see what he would have to do to refurbish it all. I got a very reasonable price too, which I could afford. Far less than I thought a job like this might cost me at my age. So, after the Labor Day weekend, we just celebrated, I took the car in early on a Tuesday morning. The car had to stay overnight, but before noon the next day, the work was done. Boy was I amazed to see the workmanship too! This man is truly an expert in his field. My headliner looks totally new, as you can see by the enclosed photos I took! I'm very excited about this. Even more than that, he did my sun visors. WOW! I didn't expect them to look so good! He even matched the original color of the interior and matched it to perfection: A true professional! What really amazes me is that they did the work in the 100 degree heat wave we are getting hit with here in the San Fernando Valley, while they did the work out of their humble shop. Truly praiseworthy work! I promised to do a review for him, to tell each of you, who find his shop, what I thought of my experience with him. I'm keeping my promise to him. Just know I'm not exaggerating on his workmanship and what a great price I received. All the more reason I am sharing, before and after photos of the headliner. Again, Wow! Thank you Morro for your years of experience and expertise to help my elderly car get a new headliner. When the heat wave eases up, the car goes in for an old fashion hand wash at Valley Car Wash on Ventura Blvd, which I've held off for quite awhile getting done, because of the headliner. I'm looking forward even more to driving my car, after the car wash and with my "new" headliner. :-) I heartily recommend Morro and his brother for their workmanship. My 1977 Datsun 280Z's dashboard was recovered by Morro. I have seen his work on another Mercedes and it was perfect, but for some reason mine wasn't. He made promises he couldn't keep as he was late completing my restoration for an auto show. The price quoted when he started was $600 but as it took more time, so he charged me $800 for the entire job. Little did I know that he used upholstery vinyl and not dashboard vinyl to recover my dash, direct sunlight to the dash creates a film inside the windshield and it's annoying when you can't see out of the windshield? I spent lots of time and money restoring this car only to find out the dash wasn't even prepared before the vinyl was applied causing uneven areas of my dashboard, objects precluding through the vinyl, wrinkles, vinyl not cut correctly around the air vents and the sides of the dash were done poorly. I took the car to another facility where all they do is dashes and they couldn't believe how poorly it came out. I have tried since February 2014 to get my money back and all I get is excuses. read more

I'd highly recommend having your car's old headliner repaired at Morro Auto Interiors. My car is a 2006 4-door Honda Civic Ex, and the headliner had been slowly detaching itself for years. I finally had to do something about it when the fabric near my driver's side window started to come down and potentially block my side view. Morro's is by far the best auto upholstery shop in the San Fernando Valley! I must have called every single shop in the valley and was quoted ridiculous prices and wasn't able to get an appointment soon. At Morro's they gave me a next day appointment and also offered the most reasonable price out of all the shops I called. My car needed the vynil on both doors repaired, they took care of it quickly with no hassles, the repairs look great, the service was outstanding, and they even deep cleaned the other interior parts of the doors at no additional charge! I've been to Morro twice now and both times I have been very satisfied with his work. He put a new top and back window in my 2003 Ford Thundirbird. He also repaired the ripped leather front seat and passenger seat. The soft convertible top went on perfectly. The seat leather he matched and put in the new pieces. You can't tell there was any work done at all. it looks as good as original brand new work. Very happy. Highly recommend his work. Price is fair as well. read more

I have a 2010 Honda Odyssey and my leather drivers seat was falling apart. Morro did an outstanding job fixing the interior padding and the exterior of my seat. Went to Morro after reading Yelp reviews. My Audi had a bizarre problem where seat backs from both front seats were pulling apart from the seat. Audi wouldn't cover it and other car repair shops quoted me much more for the job. Morro was quick, friendly and very reasonably priced. Morro replaced the headliner in my Mercedes and he also replaced some portions of the leather driver's seat. He did it in the time that he said he would, he did a terrific job and the price was fair.
