Whew!!! Where do I start?? I made reservations here to celebrate my husband's birthday and Father's Day. We got there a little before they opened but since it was raining they let us in and we waited off the side until they officially opened. Let me start by saying the restaurant is gorgeous! The ambience was grown and sexy and definitely gave fine dining. The waitress was pleasant and gave recommendations because I had no idea what to get. We got the bread to start and OMG that bread was delicious! It was buttery, with a honey flavor and 2 spreads to use. I wanted to eat it all but knew I had to eat an actual dish lol. My husband and I shared a small plate-the wagyu tacos. Lets just say I woke up thinking about those tacos I ordered a medium prime rib eye & my husband ordered a medium rare filet. His filet was perfect but my ribeye was overcooked. They made me a new one with no problem & were very apologetic. The new steak was more medium rare than medium but I still ate it and it was good but fatty. We shared the seafood mac & cheese which we both agreed was the best we had ever had. It was a huge portion so we ended up taking some home (didnt last very long after getting home). We were staying at a hotel in the area and found this on Yelp. We walked there not realizing that we'd be underdressed (this seems to be a place locals go to celebrate special occasions). That being said, even though we were wearing casual tourist clothes we felt very welcomed by the staff. We enjoyed our experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was wonderful, the music playing, the staff was incredible as was the food. There was so much to take in as far as interior design. We loved it. We had some sort of steak, a starter and a salad. This was about a week ago, so I don't really remember exactly what we ordered. That being said the next night we tried a different restaurant with great reviews in the same neighborhood. The ambience was great there, but the food did not measure up. Immediately after that meal, we walked back to Morrow Steak to finish our trip on a high note. We shared the cauliflower starter again as well as a dessert this time - which was something I'd never heard of but incredible some sort of cheesecake that was purple. The first night we sat at a table and the second time we sat at the bar - and it was an equally wonderful experience. The bartender was extremely friendly and efficient. Again we were wearing casual clothes. Out of respect to the other patrons, I wish I had packed nicer clothes to wear but don't let this detour you if you didn't pack them. If you know me, you know Morrow's is one of my favorite NoLa spots, so trying Morrow Steak was a must. This location offers a more grown-and-sexy atmosphere, with beautiful ambiance and elevated aesthetics that set the tone for a great dining experience. My table ordered a variety of appetizers, including the tempura cauliflower (surprisingly delicious), tacos, gumbo, and sushi, each dish appeared to be thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. For my entrée, I chose the ribeye steak with a loaded baked potato, and it was perfectly cooked and absolutely satisfying. Every dish we tried delivered. If I had to rank this location among my favorite in the Morrow chain, it would likely fall within my top five (Sun Chong and Morrow's still are my top two). A few friends and I went last night and OMG. I will be dreaming about that bread FOREVER. The bread gave off Texas Roadhouse vibes, but 1000 times better. Let's say I could eat that bread alone and not feel one bit guilty. We had the shrimp appetizer, we also got the cauliflower. Don't sleep on these. Had a reservation and still had to wait over 15 mins for a seat. Didn't love that. It's super dark inside so it's hard to read the menu without using your phone for light. The decor is gorgeous inside.. Ok now to the food, the food was really good. My husband had the king salmon with the colossal crabmeat Oscar added. It's located downtown New Orleans so parking can be tricky. We found a parking garage for @$8 per hour. Some of our party party's in the street. We visited for a surprise birthday party this weekend. We had a very large party (13) and we were seated near the back. They won't seat you until the majority of your party arrives. We had a variety of food choices and I chose the Ribeye steak and my wife had the salmon and we shared the seafood Mac n cheese. The table shared 3 Parker breads shaped like a large flower. We were about 30 minutes late to our reservation (I know, embarrassing) but they showed us some grace & still made it happen for us. To the food, my goodness! I'm a bread lover & thought no one's bread could top Del Frisco's but their Parker Bread took the #1 spot for me. My gumbo was perfect, the roux wasn't too thick and was flavorful. We ended up here by accident. We were attempting to go to another restaurant with a similar name. But ended up here and decided to stay. Upon arrival we were immediately seated. The dining room is large and very modern. The music was a little loud for a steakhouse but definitely was a vibe with a mix of new and old school r&b. The menu had something for everyone. They did have gumbo but only seafood gumbo which was slightly disappointing. We ordered an array of appetizers and cocktails. The bar was very slow especially given the restaurant was not packed. But our server was amazing so it was forgiving. This restaurant absolutely lives up to the hype! From the moment you walk in and are warmly greeted by the hostesses to being escorted to your table, everything feels special. I definitely recommend making reservations because it gets busy quickly. We started with the fluffiest rolls you could imagine. For appetizers, we tried the Mardi Gras shrimp and cauliflower bites--both were delicious. Our entrées included the stuffed chicken with broccolini and the special of the day, a cowboy ribeye paired with a lobster tail. Everything was seasoned so perfectly that the lobster didn't even need butter sauce. Dessert was the star of the show: the biggest slice of chocolate cake I've ever seen, and it was absolutely to die for! The portions are generous--perfect for sharing. We went here on a Sunday evening for dinner. Parking was pretty easy, as there is street parking readily accessible. We were lucky enough to get a spot right out front. We were greeted at the door and the staff seemed very attentive. We were then walked to our table. I immediately noticed 1. that the decor in the entire space was very aesthetic and 2. that the music was quite loud. I think the music could have been turned down just a bit, it would still keep the lively feel but I could better hear my partner and our server. Out of everything we ordered, I really liked the seafood mac and cheese. It was 10/10 I wouldn't have changed anything. There are some pretty big chunks of garlic, so if you're not a big garlic fan, beware. The ube cheesecake was great though it had a slightly strong salty taste. I always have a great time at Morrow Steak! I made reservations and brought some out-of-town friends for brunch, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had the steak and eggs, lobster mac, sushi roll, cheesecake, salmon, fresh bread, and plenty of cocktails, including the blueberry martini and peach bellini. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere felt like an elevated brunch experience. We were also glad to enjoy dinner items at brunch since we wanted a little of everything. I've also been for happy hour and dinner and enjoyed those visits just as much. I've had the pasta, and Wagyu steak flight. I've sat at the bar and the bartenders aim to please! I let them know I had a reservation for 1, they told me happy birthday and proceeded to try to convince me to sit at the bar because "I'm gonna be honest, I don't have a two-top available right now and I don't know how long it'll be" those were her exact words. Why would I want to sit at the bar for a birthday dinner when I intentionally made a reservation? What was the point of my reservation? Solo diners are so disregarded sometimes and it's ridiculous. And she kept pushing for the bar until she finally offered to just come grab me from the bar once my table was ready. She was still nice the whole time though. Service at my table was great. I ordered the potstickers and the fat boi roll, both were pretty good. The roll was a bit warmer than I was expecting, but the flavors were there. My server also told me happy birthday, which I appreciated, but at no point was a birthday dessert brought out nor offered. Ive finally got a chance to check out Morrow Steak and it did not disappoint! Celebrated my anniversary here tonight and the service was great. Our waiter, Josúe (Sway) was fantastic. I opted for two appetizers as my entree, the Mardi Gras Shrimp and crabcakes. Both were really good. I loved the pickled vegetables that topped the shrimp. Also had the seafood mac and cheese and broccoli I which were both very good. My husband had the stuffed chicken which I got to try and it was juicy and flavorful. Glad I finally got a chance to try another Morrow's restaurant. Definitely left full with leftovers for tomorrow! read more

We walked in at 9 thinking that we would be rushed since they close at 10 during the week. In fact, it was the opposite! We sat at the bar and was warmly greeted by one of the bartenders Tim. He introduced the other 2 bartenders, Earl and Leann. We started with some cocktails, turducken dumplings and split the kale salad. For dinner, we split the snapper. I had got the garlic mash and my homegirl got the loaded baked potato. Everything was delicious. We were sitting next to a young couple and a single man. We were all talking and even shared some of sides with each other. The seafood Mac and cheese was good. It's definitely a vibe in there. Check it out for yourself! read more
