I like the aesthetic of this restaurant, it was very elegant polished. I had the signature Cajun prime rib, cooked to perfection and seasoned well. I also tried their chargrilled oysters with crabmeat, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

What an excellent service! This beautiful bar and restaurant screams class and elevation from the moment you step in . Their service...outstanding Their drinks.. excellent I didn't eat here, but their staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The place is beautiful, it's delightful to the eyes. It has NOLA written all over it.

Everything was cooked perfectly! My favorites were the puffed corn casserole and my new York strip! Service was fast and professional! Love how attentive and knowledgeable of the menu to give me recommendations! The sexy interior and low lighting was perfect for a date night!

Made it to Bon Ton Prime Rib in New Orleans, and it was a memorable dining experience.I tried the Creole crab cakes, and they were a great introduction to New Orleans flavors. The staff were welcoming, and the historic atmosphere was a nice touch.

Went here for our anniversary and it didn't disappoint, even though it started out poorly. Had a 8:45 reservation but had to wait for a half an hour before being seated. Once seated, it became apparent why this place is so packed. Firstly, our server Savannah set a standard that all servers from now will be compared to. Her friendliness and professionalism should be recognized. Miami, please take notice! As for the food, crabmeat cocktail and wedge salad were fresh and very tasty. But you come here for the prime rib and as an expert on the subject, this may rank right up there with Keens and 4 Charles for the best in the country. Savannah even surprised us with a complimentary piece of King Cake that was all fudge. Amazing. We will definitely return!

Celebrated a work milestone with our clients and the team and we sure did pick the right restaurant for a feast!. I've been traveling to Nola for over 5 years and there are so many good spots, it's rare to find a new place to add to the Top 5 list. Reopening of Bon Ton - PHENOMENAL. We had a reservation for 7 at 7 [and even though we didn't get seated until half 7 - this doesn't take away from the overall experience - sometimes the table before you just runs long]. We grabbed a drink at the bar while waiting. Ordered a glass of champagne - but the only bubbly by the glass they offered was non-alcoholic [which I thought was a bit strange]. Martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives - YUM. seems like they stuff their own olives. Seated in a cozy booth for 7 and there was a welcome card for my client since we were celebrating his bday too. Tiffany was our server and she was hospitable, offered great recommendations and was a good sport all night - super funny and really took care of us. I cannot say enough that EVERYTHING on the menu was sublime. - Seafood tower - MUST order - comes up with baked oysters [and normally I like them fresh, but the crust on top was sooo good. Very rich with all the butter, but memorable], - this mini cup of seafood bisque - DELISH with a 'lil surprise at the bottom, - Crab - big chunks of fresh crab meat - Giant shrimp - Crab cakes - giant chunks of crab meat - Cajun bacon - nice meaty bacon - Wedge salad - dressing was not as heavy as a typical wedge which was tasty - King Cut - we ordered 2 for the table and was perfect - Corn casserole - sweet crusty top - Brussel sprouts - Crawfish Mac and cheese Finished with the lemon meringue pie (SOOOOO good) and the very rich and buttery butter cake.. It's the next day, I'm back in La La Land and still dreaming of this dinner. I will be back. Phenomenal dinner - one for the memory books. -

Oh my! My family and I just ate here tonight and the food was so incredible! We got the french fries, the onion rings, the oysters, barbecue, shrimp, the fillet, ribeye, lemon, meringue, pie, and the broccoli and brussels sprouts. Everything was so heavenly. Service was top-tier! Can't wait to come back!

Went to Bon Ton for a birthday dinner and Daniel made sure to make the birthday girl feel special, as he was funny, attentive, and informative. The ambiance is high-end and great for special occasions. Our only complaint was the mashed potatoes literally tasted like they came out of a box.

Bon Ton Prime Rib is a great addition to the New Orleans dining scene. I have fond memories of the original Bon Ton Cafe. I had meal there when my brother got married and my dad was with us. It's one of those experiences you don't forget. I was sad when it closed but excited when I heard about this new concept. It's been open a little while now and I had heard great things. For my last birthday, I finally made the trip. Hell yes is all I can say. It was amazing. The ambiance is modern and fancy. Lots of people watching opportunities including the locally and nationally famous. You'll see everyone from politicians to randos who grew up in Algiers. Ambiance is great but doesn't overcome poor food. Luckily, the food here is even better than the ambiance. It's high end, expensive, and a wonderful experience. The prime rib is excellent as are all of the family style sides. For dessert we had some table side sundae that was decedent and a performance that everyone around watched. I probably wouldn't do it again but when it's your birthday you like to celebrate. Come to Bon Ton Prime Rib. Get some meat. Plan to spend a lot of time and money. It's worth it.

I made a reservation on Christmas Eve for my husbands birthday here. I received several phone calls to confirm and also several texts to confirm. But of course when we arrived we had to stand outside 40 minutes past our reservation time waiting to be seated. They must have overbooked because they had at least 5-6 parties waiting who had reservations which is ridiculous. I also included in my reservation that I was celebrating a birthday but when I ordered dessert they brought no candle and then asked after they cut it if we were celebrating something. Nothing was complimentary which I don't necessarily expect but I feel like they probably do offer something but we just were not. The food was good but the service was hectic and our server wasn't the friendliest. I did throughly enjoy the Cajun steak and the Mac and cheese but I don't think I'd rush back after the waiting so long to be seated and the service being underwhelming

The phrase "you get what you pay for" really applies to Bob Ton. Went with a group of 8 and knew what to expect before making reservation. Menu on smaller side but literally every single item was incredible. This is the kind of place that checks glasses for water spots. Huge tip - side dishes are huge and feed multiple people. Another tip - ask for the cajun steak sauce (it is soooooo good). Service was exceptional as expected for a high end steak house. One of the best meals in my life hands down.

Went to the Chophouse with some friends and waited FOREVER for our food. I decided to leave and walked across the street to Bon Ton Prime Rib. BEST DECISION EVER!!! I came in and sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Adam and Amber and given a menu. In 2 minutes I knew what I wanted and ordered the steak (à la cart). Adam recommended the crawfish man-n-cheese (enough for 2), so I tried it. Order placed. No lie, in 30 seconds I had my beer . In 10 minutes I had my food delivered smelling like something outta heaven. I smashed this food it was sooooo good. Hell yeah I'm going back!!!

Cajun Bacon and Bon Ton Oysters

This is what a real steakhouse should be. The service is excellent, our server knew all menu items without having to look at notes. The place is "classy", and the food is very good. We had the Cajun bacon and the Bon Ton Oysters. Both of these were incredible. For mains, we ordered the Cajun Steak (ribeye) and the New York Strip and asked for Cajun seasoning on this as well. The steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered it... my only issue is that the seasoning is very salty which made the steak, not so enjoyable. For sides we ordered the onion rings and the Rib Roast Lyonniase. The onion rings are some of the best, crispiest I ever had, the Lyonnaise dish, is a chopped potato dish with beef fat and beef trimmings.... This was not that great and did not justify the price. The drink options are extensive and our waiter was pleasant and skilled. This is a very good high end restaurant.

The restaurant and courtyard are beautiful, with a rich history that adds to the experience. Chris Hannah is one of the best bartenders in the business. He took the time to learn what we enjoyed and crafted cocktails that were absolutely spot on. Beyond the drinks, he was warm, engaging, and even shared a list of local recommendations that ended up being some of the highlights of our trip. Outstanding cocktails, genuine hospitality, and an unforgettable start to our New Orleans adventure.

We were seated in the upstairs area and tried some of their drinks. We got the Brandy Crusta which is their most popular drink and the Pouvez-Vous Poulet which is a seasonal cocktail. The Brandy Crusta has the cup dipped in sugar with a fairly strong cocktail within. Definitely get this when you are here as that is one of the best Brandy Crustas and is historical. The Pouvez-Vous Poulet is a duck fat washed rum cocktail and is also very delicious. You cannot really go wrong with any cocktail, but definitely order the Brandy Crusta for the true experience here. Though, honestly, while the cocktails are good, it was not as memorable as the other Top 50 Best Bars in the World that I have been to, but I won't dock a star off because of this, since the cocktails and overall experience otherwise were fantastic. Service is good but can be a bit slow, but it is an acceptable tradeoff for a more quiet ambience compared to downstairs.

While I knew of the drink French 75, on the bar menu it was offered with either gin or cognac. I decided to try the cognac and so glad I did. Perfectly delicious! While the Sazerac wasn't invented here, this is arguably its most iconic home, a place where New Orleans cocktail history comes to life. I would use this version as your gold standard when dining out in New Orleans and looking for a perfect Sazerac. We enjoyed watching bartender Rachel craft each drink. Rye whiskey, Peychaud's Bitters, and sugar are stirred in a small pitcher with ice. The serving glass is chilled, then emptied, and finished with an absinthe rinse along the rim. The cocktail is strained into the glass and topped with a lemon peel. The atmosphere makes the experience even better. The murals, the history, and the energy of the room give it a sense of occasion that you do not get at most bars. We had such a great time sitting at the bar that my wife and I each finished two and a half Sazeracs, which tells you everything you need to know.
