Not the sea dream but it's called the satsuma I believe which is also good.

First of all I come to this place after a regular 12hr work shift. The ambiance is a vibe I love how they place hip hop and R&B. The sea dream is my all time favorite roll! Mia the bartender is my girl great customer service she gets me right everytime

What a vibe this place is!!!! Beautiful decor. Great service as well. I came for a solo dinner on a Saturday night and it was fantastic. I had the Tekka & Negi Hama maki as well as the roll the sea dream, & tuna, hamachi, scallop & octopus nigiri. Very nice portions of food. Everything was delicious! I had the lychee martini as well. Tasty tasty!!!! I definitely want to go back because I heard they do omakase. Reasonably priced here too. Check them out!!!!

Great new sushi spot! Sophisticated decor and you can watch the sushi chefs make your dishes at the bar. The spicy scallop hand roll was great, as was the tuna-avocado roll. The classic rolls are better priced than the hand rolls are. I would recommend splurging on the lightly grilled fatty tuna pieces. We got some hot tea but it was just a tea bag in a single mug rather than an authentic pot of tea. They're still working out some kinks as a new restaurant (there were some bill/service mix ups) but all in all, a good affordable sushi place!

The soft shell crab with tuna roll special - Yum!!!

Oh, how I LOVE Bisutoro!! We got an urge for sushi on Sunday and decided to visit a place that never disappoints... Bisutoro on Magazine. It's a very intimate place with seating on the inside as well as on the patio. Reservations are highly recommended, but they are very good about making things happen to get you in especially if you're a smaller party. We got there at 7:30 and they sat us at the bar, which is the best way to go in my opinion, and just said that there was a bar reservation for 8:30. We had an hour to enjoy our dining experience. An hour was more than enough time to have such an excellent experience sitting at the sushi bar. They have $5 Temaki (hand rolls), and we ordered one yellowtail and one spicy scallop. We also ordered some specials - tuna on crispy rice and softshell crab roll topped with spicy tuna. Everything was a 10 out of 10! I held onto the menu because I knew I wanted to order more but every bite we had was so good that I just ordered the same order again. The sushi chef, was absolutely amazing. He's so attentive and takes your order with ease and presents it so wonderfully. This is indeed the best quality sushi in New Orleans, hands-down. The pricing is insanely good for the quality and amount of food you get. Also, this is a Resy restaurant, so take advantage of any available perks - IYKYK.

So this is now our go to sushi spot in Nola. Cozy little spot on magazine with just a few tables and a sushi bar. There is also outdoor seating on the sidewalk which has been great so we can take our dog along with us. The quality of the sushi is unmatched locally IMO. We have stuck to mostly the specialty rolls and the ones we have tried have all been great.

The food is good I've been before but the service from my visit tonight made me never want to come back.

I came here for a birthday dinner so we had the private room on the side which was great because it does seem like the restaurant is very tight and small. But everything was great. Our server was so sweet and she was doing a large party by herself and we appreciated her. She brought the food out as it was ready so i ended up eating my hamachi and sushi before the edamame even came out lol but it was all so good. The Maui waui has spicy tuna and pineapple and it was soooo good! The spicy edamame was so flavorful. Loved that hamachi too! I definitely want to come back

New favorite sushi spot in New Orleans! We arrived at the same time as a huge (14 person) table so service seemed a bit slower than usually but they were incredibly kind and apologetic (and honestly not terribly slow) which was all you could ask for! Server was very nice. And the outdoor seating was perfect on a fall night! We got the hamachi to start-- the jalapeño added a nice kick. Then, we got the satsuma roll and hand rolls. All the special rolls were delicious, especially soft shell crab and toro. Cocktails were great as well! The lychee martini was sweet but delicious. Come here!

A true gem sushi spot! Everything is always spot on each time - food, quality, service, & ambiance

THE BEST SUSHI EVER! Their Sunday happy hour is the best! All the hand rolls are amazing and the tuna crispy rice is my favorite on the menu! 10000000/10

This was my first time at Bisutoro and it was amazing! We had the private room for my friends birthday and it was just overall a nice time. Food was timely, sushi was very fresh and my mocktail was great. I will be back! Our waitress was really sweet as well!

The food was good. The drinks were ok. The bartender who took my order was neither. Based on that I won't return.

The food was to as be expected there were no stand out surprise menu items. The usual salad; dressing and drinks. On this occasion there were about four different birthdays being celebrated. So that tells you a lot about the popularity of this location for the locals. Service was prompt and pleasant. We were seated and drink orders taken. There were four in our party. The price point was in line with the standard. Maybe a little higher because of substitutions. My only issue with this establishment was the clutter and dated interior. There were items in clear view that were supplies. They could use an upgrade in the dining area and restrooms. Good food; not great. Entertaining and definitely more than enough serving wise. We all had to go containers. Huge portions and fresh food. Would I recommend this experience... perhaps but don't expect too much.

Kenji Omakase will be a new annual special occasion go to. Japanese Omakase experience and style, a one of a kind food experience where every course is a harmonious blend of flavors, textures and eye appeal. The sushi chef talks you through each course after he places it on you platter. I asked if these were supposed to be eaten by hand if you wanted to, he agreed most people traditionally eat these that way. The flavors were buttery and tangy, textures delicate and sometimes a small crunch with fried scallions etc. We had tuna, ocean trout that was Similar to salmon but a different shade of orange, scallops and finished with waygu beef. It was amazing with each course the flavors seem to improve. A great experience, if you are any type of sushi fan or even on the fence, this could easily make you a sushi lover. I give this a complete recommendation. Try Kenji you will be very happy you did. The ambiance was fun also traditional Japanese. I may have Mis-named a few photos but know they are all just incredible journeys across your palate, hard to describe, melting with texture and flavors.
