Happy hour menu
Corey D.

Came by during happy hour. They call it power hour. Greeted promptly by the hostess. I was by myself, didnt need a table so took a seat at the end of the bar. Inside the restaurant, the ambiance was definitely set up to take a date, a quiet space to have a excellent meal with friends, with some nice music in the background. Its bigger than what you may initially see. There is a really nice quiet space that appears to have its own wine selection. Great for a private party. Huge winelist is at the forefront of the cocktail menu. Bartender was great, good conversation. I decided to go easy and get the burger sliders. Wasn't that hungry. Sliders came out hot. Juicy taste, sauce was great, and there was something added on the bun which was great. Just the amount of food I needed. A unexpected but great early great appetizer to finish off the day. Definitely will be back.

We had a fabulous experience. Thank you to our waitress Kristin she was great. We had 3 or 4 staff members tell us Happy Anniversary we had a picture taken & Pedals on the table with a note. They made it special. AND the steaks was sooooo good. Made to order. All sides and dessert were great. For anyone complaining about a dress code please realize it is a casino. If you want to dress up and make it an experience please do but don't complain on shorts and sandals. It's a casino. Thank you Morton's for making it great.

Morton's is always a good idea for a great fancy dinner. We ordered a bottle of red wine for the table and was very wowed by the flavor. If you're a fan of Merlot and blends, this one was delicious; Château Greysac. Our server dropped off the bread for the table and my coworkers' salad and soup came out. The Lobster Bisque bowl passed me and there were large pieces of lobster in the bowl. Then the severed placed his bowl down and then poured the bisque over the lobster. The smell and look of this dish had me salivating. I had to order my own. Once I got mine, the flavor was so creamy and the lobster was amazing. I ordered the petit filet and lobster for $69 and was really wowed by the flavor and size of this great meal for a great price. I know Morton's is a chain, but I really liked the presentation of the soup and the information the sommelier gave me. Great dinner spot!

Bread was delicious and with the whipped butter even better

I decided to stop in for a dessert after dinner and maybe some drinks. We didn't have a reservation so we are hoping to sit at the bar at the least. It was actually not so busy and we were able to snag a small table near the bar.. unfortunately our experience wasn't so great. Our server was awful and it felt like forever trying to track him down to get any drinks from the bar. Luckily someone was going around filling water so that we always did have that . Since we'd already eaten dinner our original plan was just the dessert, but my husband saw crab legs so we ordered those as well. It said it came cold, but you could get it warmed with butter so we asked for warmed. Unfortunately, that's not what we got. We got cold with a side of a tad warm. There was a lot of crab so I guess that was a good part. We also ordered the cheesecake even sharing it. We didn't finish it. It just had too much of a grainy sugar texture, which yes, what was on it would have the sugar I was hoping more of a traditional cheesecake I guess. Well it was great to still spend some alone. Time with my husband. Service was just so bad. I don't feel cool. Will be back again. If I'm gonna pay those prices, I'm going to get great service elsewhere.

We have just moved out to Surprise a few months ago and are visiting the various venues and restuarants in the area. My wife threw me a surprise birthday party for about 20 people there. Morton's did not disappoint. We were on the patio with beautiful weather. Working with Kaylee, my wife picked about 15 items from the menu for apps and mains. Let me tell you, it was phenomenal! I could not try all of the apps, nor all of the mains but the guests were floored. We went back with just a party of three a few weeks later because it was so good. The staff remembered us and it was another wonderful experience. From the Filet to the Lobster Bisque to the Lobster Ravioli...I can't rave enough. I'm a cook and I can usually be on par with most restaurants. Not Morton's. They blew me away. One issue for me. Being in Surprise, I was glad to see this was more than a T-shirt and shorts place. They have a defined dress code on their website. They had a wedding proposal on the table next to us. Yet, there were people coming in with swim trunks, flip-flops and T-shirts. In Arizona, that's all OK. When looking for something a little more than that, you want Morton's. However, it was not enforced. I know it's hard to say "No", especially when you are in a Casino, but it was a bit disappointing. We'll never stop going back, and we now have some relatives from Colorado that are looking to Morton's as their next venue. Bravo, Morton's!

The most enjoyable place to share an anniversary celebration! Emma was our server, first class!!!! Food was fabulous, ambience spectacular!

Onion loaf and butter

This 5 star is for their French Onion Soup and their hospitality. The broth is deep and subtle, not overly boozed up. The onions are caramelized and melt in your mouth. The crock and crouton is baked over with Gruyère!!!! Just look at the pic. The chopped salad was okay. The homemade dressings are stellar!!! The Ranch was 5 star material. The ribeye was delicious. They had a generous 16 oz cut that we split. Sides are purchased separately. We got the beautifully presented scalloped potatoes but compared to the French Onion Soup, it was leagues behind. I will be back for the wonderful Onion loaf with chilled butter and French Onion Soup ($13). I wonder if I brought my Desert Diamond Card, will there be a discount?

This is a follow up to my last review on Morton's Steakhouse. I have always been willing to give a second chance to any restaurant that fell short of expectations. This one was especially important because the General Manager went out of his way to call me and talk about our experience in his restaurant. Greg is the definition of a leader. He took responsibility for the visit we had, invited us back to make sure we knew the last visit was a fluke and apologized for falling short the first time. This visit was way different. Our waitress Heather was AMAZING. She was attentive, she was outgoing and very nice. Our food was top notch. My New York Strip was the best steak I have ever eaten in my life ( I'm 59 so I have had a lot in my time). The steak was perfect in every way. My wife's filet was delicious as well. The topper of the night was Greg came over, introduced himself and made sure we had a great experience. The thing is, it wasn't just us. I spent 34 years in management so I observe and Greg was ALL over the place. Every table, every guest , making sure that each guest had a great experience. Thank you Heather for doing an amazing job, thank you Morton's staff for working hard to insure your guest had a great meal, and lastly thank you Greg for being a great leader and making sure your guest will return. Yes, Jennifer and I WILL be back. Lastly thank you for proving that despite our last visit falling short, everyone has a bad night and given the opportunity, proving that Morton's is worthy of being called an Amazing experience.

Morton's Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake (Sundae style)

Enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner at the Morton's located inside Desert Diamond Casino. Everyone from the hostess to the server (Melissa) made our night feel so special. We made a reservation ahead of time and the table was decorated with a welcome card and flower petals, it was so nice! The steak was cooked to perfection, I prefer medium rare and many places typically over do it. They have a great wine list to pair with dinner, it took me an extra minute to decide on which red to pick but the server was so patient. My fiancé couldn't stop raving about the dessert, Morton's Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake (Sundae style). They also gifted us a photo to remember the night by. This might have to be our new anniversary celebration spot from now on!

BURNT Filet Mignon & Lobster Tail

Decided to get "fancy" for our 6th anniversary & make some reservations at Morton's for Saturday 3/21. Everything seemed good going in. We arrived early & we were seated shortly after. As we got to the table the hostess removed an old table cloth that was on one of the chairs, seemed like an honest mistake, no biggie, but in hindsight it was Red Flag #1. Our waitress took awhile to get to us after that, which we could only have decided on a drink, because she had the food menus. Great, 10 minutes to decide on a drink. Bread was delivered. I actually have a picture time stamped at 7:20pm. Take note. BTW the bread tastes like a bagel, do with that what you will. We were going to order glasses of wine but decided to just stick with waters. (Should've ordered wine, maybe the food would've tasted better). We ordered oysters for an appetizer. Should've stopped there bc they were actually great. When we finally got around to ordering we chose a Caesar Salad, Au Gratin Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, & we each chose the Filet Mignon with Lobster Tail. 3 sides to share & 2 entrees. We waited honestly a really long time for the food. We get it, it was a Saturday night but i swear we didn't see our waitress for like 30 minutes! Which she was definitely not the problem, it was just odd. We twiddled our thumbs to pass the time. We picked at the bread but didn't want to ruin our appetite, but man were we hungry! Caesar Salad came out with the oysters, that was also pretty decent, so we were inclined to think the food would be as well. Food arrives. Picture is time stamped at 8:37. We waited over an hour. Waitress now does come by & notices the Potatoes Au Grautin were missing. The girl had said they would be coming shortly. Waitress says "No they should've been out with your food". She comped those for us, thankfully. Surprisingly the potatoes were my favorite thing even though the cheese was overcooked on top. Lobster was dry & cold, i drowned it in butter and lemon. I had to saw it with a knife! My filet mignon was over cooked as well. We both asked for Medium, mine was definitely Well Done, whilst my husband's seemed to be actually be Medium. (See pictures. You can tell without even cutting into it how bad mine was) I did not complain at the time, I honestly felt bad for how busy they were & understand the wait staff really has no control over the kitchen. Brussels sprouts were definitely charred, i couldn't really tell how much at first, but the bacon pieces on the bottom of the dish were both inedible and unenjoyable. Once the potatoes arrived it was nice to have something hot to eat i actually burned my mouth when i tried them. Those were actually 8/10 had they not overdone it on the top cheese crust. For dessert, (yes we ordered dessert because we were celebrating!), we ordered the cheesecake. Our waitress kindly informed us while we were eating that the chocolate cake takes 30 minutes if we wanted to get the order in then. The cheesecake was another winner. The crumble on top was *chef's kiss*. So to conclude, overall it was not as lovely an experience as I expected. Food 3/10 Ambience 6/10 Service 5/10 Definitely never taking Texas Roadhouse for granted again! They have never failed me, I guess this is what we get for trying to get fancy. Also, I expected to be asked if we were celebrating anything.

I think his name was J. He is a big part of the reason the visit was so special. The food was mostly excellent. I got a petite filet and lobster tail with Caesar salad and fried brussel sprouts. I do love them crunchy and they were. The salad barely had any dressing. It would have been better with a little more. My fault for not asking. Now the steak; my whole reason for the trip. Honestly, a little disappointing. The cut was beautifully tender. That why I love a good filet. Unfortunately, there was very little caramelization on the outside. I would have enjoyed more. Also, there didn't seem to be very much seasoning. I like it a little more on the salty side, but I am sure others don't. I'm sure I could request it next time. Last, the lobster tails made up for any possible shortcomings in anything else. It is rare, that I have one as perfect as these were. Absolute heaven! Sure, I'll be back. I know exactly how to order my perfect meal now. Stellar job folks!

I checked us in for our reservation and the hostess welcomed us in, then promptly took us to the table that had been beautifully prepared for our dining experience. She asked if the lighting was too dim, but it was perfect. Every staff member was dressed neatly and welcomed us as we walked by. No staff members were running around frantically, and I could tell they are staffed amazingly well. So organized and kind, genuinely smiling at us. I could tell that anyone would be willing to help us, if we needed them! Our waiter, Daniel, came over and again, welcomed us. He let us know the specials of the night and how dinner will be served. Let us know not to touch the 500 degree plates when they arrived. He took out drink orders and answered any question we had. He promptly came back with drinks and fresh, hot rolls!! Daniel took our dinner orders. We all sat and visited while waiting, enjoying our drinks and the hot rolls. Dinner was served on, as promised, hot plates!! Then, they served each of us the crème brûlée corn. All of us that ordered meat, asked for medium rare and we were not disappointed!! Our meats were spot on!!! Perfection!!! The petite filet mignon were very juicy and delicious, as was the New York strip. The Crispy Hasselback Potatoes were so good, especially with the topping. The Crispy Shrimp Deviled Eggs were so good!!! I feel like our meals were simple yet divine!! After we enjoyed dinner, we were served the Ultimate Warm Vanilla Caramel Cake, on the house!! What a nice touch!! So yummy and it felt guilty eating such a fabulous dessert!! We all shared it! All in all, I wish I could give 10/10 stars!! Such a wonderful dinner experience!! So it's more of a special/high-end experience. Longhorn, by contrast, is a more "every day" family steakhouse experience. It's what a good old-fashioned steakhouse should be. If you want to go into a dark, wood-paneled, bar-like establishment with red vinyl booths and mob bosses meeting in back rooms, you're better off at something like Durant's. This is not that. What great steak! As I said, the best we've had in the west valley. Excellent cuts, top quality meats. Cooked perfectly and as asked for. Tender, flavorful steak and the best baby-back ribs Ive ever had. For once they're not drenched in sticky-sweet, cheap BBQ sauce and overcooked. Nope, these were moist and fork-tender. The burgers are fantastic and the ribeye is juicy and full of flavor. The sirloin is top notch and the "Flo's Special" filet mignon is just perfect. The sides here are particularly good. The broccoli is unusually good and cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese is legendary. It's hearty and gooey and very cheesy. Excellent. The potatoes are standard but very tasty and come with all the fixings. For dessert, the strawberry shortcake is my favorite. It's delicate and not cloyingly sweet. It's a delicate, light, fresh-tasting and very moist cake. The perfect finish to an excellent meal. You can't go wrong here. It's always packed, so do the waitlist before you arrive. Really good.

I checked in with the front-end person to inform them of my arrival and reservation. She found my name and informed me that the dining room was not yet open and that it would be open at 4pm. There were others waiting as well. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and upon my return there were others waiting too. A few minutes after 4pm they began calling names. All names were called by last name. Everyone was called and seated, including those that arrived after me. I was the last remaining person to be seated. They finally called me by my first name and took me over to be seated. They attempted to seat my right next to a large party. I requested that I be placed away stating that I did not want to be next to the group. She replied that they had no other servers and it may be a while. Within moments she sat me one table away. Why was I the last to be seated? The server finally came over and began his routine. I didn't like how he made sure to state over and over how the sides are not included and they all cost extra. I assure you that I can afford to eat at your establishment. He was very set on pushing the del monico steak. I had already stated that I wanted the Ribeye. I agreed to listen to the del monico explanation where he shared that the filet had no fat and the ribeye had lots of fat. The del monica was right in the middle. After the sales pitch, I was again set on the Ribeye. Not sure that he agreed with my choice, because he continued by stating that I must like my steak with lots of fat. The order was placed, not to his liking yet I was there for my enjoyment. Along with the steak I ordered a cup of clam chowder and side of asparagus. The clam chowder was not as flavorful as I had hoped for. The asparagus was under prepared. It was as if I was eating them raw, very crunchy. They did have nice flavor though. The server was informed that I was there for a Ribeye and a specialty drink. We had already discussed the steak so now for the drink. When I asked about the drinks, he just showed me the menu. I had already seen the menu on both sides yet I wasn't sure what drink I wanted. I explained again that I wasn't sure, yet I was hoping for a specialty drink. By this time other places begin suggesting specialty drinks based on my liking. That is the case when I visit Capital Grill in Scottsdale. Now when I visit there the server knows my drink. Today this server only stated that they have a full bar so once I decide I can order. So he was not helpful at all in that area of the restaurant. I thought a server would be knowledgeable enough to be able to make suggestions or recommendations and advise & inform me about the bar. What are the customer favorites? What has the bar come up with that customers like most? I saw on the website some drinks that looked interesting, yet I never saw any names attached to them. The server never came back after taking my order unless flagged by me. First, I called him when I had to show him the steak asking if that was Medium well. He stated no. Second was when I called him over to ask for a to go box for my steak. By 5pm I was not enjoying myself, so I decided to depart. The steak had to be sent back two times. The first after asking the server is this Medium well? He noticed how rare it was and took the steak back. When it came back a female in tan brought it back and asked me to check it. I cut it and again it was still rare. She picked it up asking if I wanted her to cook up a fresh steak. Without hearing my reply, she departed with the steak. Upon her return I noticed that she brought back the same steak. I cut into it and it was ok enough. I just wanted to eat. The steak was not as perfect as I had hoped for even after the trip back to the kitchen two times. That was the reason that I was at a so-called high-end restaurant, I wanted to enjoy a high-quality steak prepared perfectly with outstanding texture and taste. That was not the case here. The steak was a bit tough and chewy. I have returned a steak a few times but never twice at the same place. Doesn't the cook know when the steak is prepared as ordered? To order a steak at Texas Roadhouse means you will get exactly what you ordered with a very high 90 plus percent of the time. Not one person stopped by my table to ask how everything was going or how I was. Every place else I have visited at least the server will ask. Wasn't there a manager making rounds checking on their restaurant? This place showed me they just don't care about people or only the select people maybe. As a Veteran I don't ask for much, just treat me with dignity and respect. I remained calm and was trying to enjoy the meal. Yet at my age and sitting there by myself on my birthday the only thing I wanted was a fabulous meal. For a month prior to my birthday, I began looking for the restaurant I wanted to visit fo

No thank you. And they put us in the far back 2-seater face to face table, where it is a stretch to even hold hands. I was emotional, 28 years! Told the waiter when he asked 'how's everything going today.' He asked. So in tears I answered. About 5 minutes later, the manager walked by and in tears I told him too with 'why ask for special requests if you can't make it happen?' I got a sorry. We didn't make it to the pool, but we did get to have dinner at Litchfield's and it was such a beautiful resort , the ambiance was incredible. My boyfriend loved all the wooden floors and western aesthetic. He mentioned what great quality wood floors and tables there were. We arrived early and had a cocktail at the bar prior to entering the restaurant, the waitress and service were great as well. At Litchfield's we sat outside and the ambiance was very pleasant, welcoming and cozy. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp puttanesca, very good and I ordered the marinated wagyu flank, very delicious and cooked to perfection. We also had the garlic Parmesan fries and mashed potatoes. Everything was very tasty and definitely did not disappoint. Our server was more than helpful in making suggestions and he accommodated us accordingly. The cocktails were also well made and just the right touch. Overall this restaurant is very inviting and excellent with the treatment of their customers. Will definitely be back when in town.

There were many conversation starters in the art and historic artifacts throughout. Decor was rustic southwest, but not dated. Outdoor grounds were just as striking with native fauna and plenty of photo opps. There was plenty of seating both outdoor and indoor. Our reservations were for outside. The weather was perfect and our table location had the right amount of privacy. We didn't feel like we were on top of other diners. Our brunch items seemed light but was packed with flavor. We were absolutely stuffed! The presentation was colorful and photo worthy. Every bite was delicious and satisfying. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Everyone who came to our table was friendly and kept the same delightful energy. We appreciated the handwritten and signed card! What a nice touch. On our way out, a manager wished us a happy anniversary. This was a nice and consistent touch in hospitality. We will definitely be back!
