Good brunch place. Ordered the Super California Omelette and the Banana Nut Pancakes. Portions are huge! The pancakes were my favorite. It was fluffy with a nice chewiness. Wow what a spot for brunch!!! Mo's came highly recommended and totally lived up to our expectations!! We waited for about 15-20 minutes coming in at around 10am on Sunday morning so plan for that! We were instantly greeted by our super friendly waitress and given free coffee cake as soon as we sat down. We tried the Florentine Benedict and the country fried steak and really loved both! The Florentine Benedict had a nice amount of spinach on it and the country fried steak was super tasty! The potatoes were not the most amazing, but they complemented the entrees well. I like this place, I really do, but this last visit really made me angry. We got here today at 10 am, we knew we'd have to wait in line, so it was a 25 minute wait. My husband went to park the car while I went in with my daughter. The hostess was on the phone, didn't make eye contact with me even though I stood right in front of her and she walked away with the phone. She came back about 5 minutes later and I asked to put my name down on the list. I told her my name and two adults and two kids. She asked me for my last initial so I gave it to her. She didn't say hello to me or smiled, she looked peeved and didn't care that she was there to greet people, but whatever, maybe she's having a rough morning. I went outside to wait on the bench, since it was nice out today. We sat there waiting and hanging out, then she comes out 25 minutes later and said "Cindy" and another lady got up as well as I did. Then she said "party of 3" while looking at me. Well, what was the point of taking down my last initial if you're not going to use it!?!?! Again with the irritated tone she had. I sat back down and 10 minutes later she called me and we went in. She seated us and didn't say a word besides give us our menus and left. Our waitress asked us what we wanted to drink and left. She came back with our drinks but didn't ask if we were ready to order or anything. She came back about 10 minutes later to take our order. I know it's busy but it didn't seem like she had many other tables to take care of. She walked out with free coffee cake for the other tables but we didn't get any. That's fine, my husband said. We normally get it so I was surprised we never got any. My daughter was hungry and was getting irritated so that coffee cake would have helped and held her over for a bit. She took our order but it took awhile for it to come out. Again, we let that go, since yes, it's busy, so we didn't think anything of it. The food finally arrived and she brought it over with another waitress. She didn't give my daughter utensils and the utensils on my side of the table didn't have a knife, just fork and spoon. After waiting for about 5 minutes to get someone to come by, my husband got up, went to the stand where there were utensils and grabbed my daughter a fork and a knife, a knife for me, and a knife for himself and extra napkins. The waitress never came by to check on us, she just returned with our check and left it at our table. It was never "take your time, whenever you get the chance" or anything. Just dropped it on our table. No thank you, no have a good day, nothing. As we left, the bus boy and everyone else we passed said "thank you, have a good day" so why couldn't our hostess and our waitress do the same thing? Everybody at the table ate it up, I personally didn't like it. The crumble on top wasn't very sweet and tasted like flour. It's nice of them to give you something for free though. The food arrived shortly. My Eggs Benedict was not very good. The eggs were cooked well, but their hollandaise sauce tasted like cheese. Very weird flavor. The o'brien potatoes were very bland, lots of salt and pepper needed to be added to make those taste decent. Everybody at the table had ordered them and they all agreed that they were bland. My sister got some sort of breakfast sandwich that she was not wowed by, my sis-in-law sent her food back because it was cold. My brother and bro-in-law both ordered steak and eggs, the steak was overcooked and very tough. My brother who suggested this place said it is normally better and blamed them being so busy on the quality of the food. I don't know what caused the food to suck, but I don't think I would bother coming here again. Nobody in our party was happy with our breakfasts. Three homemade soups on the menu (clam chowder, lentil, and a vegetable sausage soup). I love soup anytime, anywhere. Next time.... What I've ordered: Special menu Pineapple & Macadamia Nuts Pancakes - large portion Monte Cristo Sandwich w/Curly Fries - okay sandwich, big portion of fries Eggs Benedict w/Hash Browns - simple, but huge portion also, especially the brick of hash browns Chicken Enchilada Omelette - signature item, excessive portion but not enough sauce to counter the load of eggs and chicken beneath Obviously, all of the portions are large. Out of everything I've tried, my favorite thing has probably been their biscuit, which is probably the best I've had in the area. My dining companions have ordered the Hawaiian Salad, Chicken Wrap, Chicken Club Sandwich, Chicken Croissant, Three Little Pigs to name a few. Hubs and I did a very mini staycation in Temecula one weekend. Even though our hotel offered breakfast, we decided to go out instead since Mo's Egg House was literally across the street from where we stayed. There was already a wait when we got there, but luckily two spots opened up on the counter and we were able to snag the seats. Service was good; waitresses were friendly (although some looked unapproachable--probably because they were busy and concentrating on carrying heavy plates?). The food...was ok. Although I will say that the complimentary coffee cake was delicious. I ordered the California Eggs Benedict...the lack of meat (which I failed to realized the dish did not come with, so my bad) was a bit of a turn off. Also, the hollandaise sauce tasted funky. Not sure if it was just under seasoned or what...but it was not to my liking. My husband's dish was also ok (forgot the name, sorry). One of the best places for breakfast!! Let me start out by saying the staff here is just outstanding. From the moment you walk in there's a friendly host smiling and welcoming you! Your waiters and bus boys are just some of the nicest hard working people ever. Truly fantastic service which in my opinion sets Mo's Eggs apart from even some of the finest restaurants. That sincere personal touch is rare to find these days but it is abundant at Mo's. Just a truly great place and if I lived nearby I would easily be a regular. The food here is just as outstanding as the people who work here. They have everything on the menu. Everything here is big generous portion. I ordered the corn beef hash with eggs and ordered a pancake as the side free of charge. I also ordered a side of hash browns and sausages. Perfection, loved the pancake and omg everything was so amazing!!! My fiancé ordered the French toast and was just in heaven. Our coffee cake at the beginning was delicious too! Bacon was a step above not cooked at all, 2. Hash Browns burnt, eggs were good. Sent back for the 1st time... now bacon still not crisp and hash browns had just been flipped to the less burnt side. Sent back 2nd time...bacon cooked crisp but the has browns now are not cooked and raw and the eggs were reheated and over medium. Just left without eating. Maybe the update money should have been used on hiring real cooks. Another person had an omelette t;hat they said had a funny tasting spice in it. We weren't expecting much, but we were really happy with the food, especially the pancakes. Pancakes are one of our favorite things to eat. I would drive to Temecula just for these pancakes. They remind me of pancakes from Du-par's - big, fluffy and a little malty flavor. We also had the Monte Cristo sandwich and egg, Canadian bacon combo - also very good. We ordered for pick-up, but I noticed they do have a decent number of tables available for outdoor dining. The spacing between tables is also sufficient. Maybe next time we'll do patio dining. Today my mom and I came here for the first time. We were so impressed by every single staff member from entry to exit! We were greeted and quickly seated at a booth. Overall super decent breakfast spot. Met my brother here for a nice Saturday brunch. I ordered the crab cakes Benedict with fruit and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The crab had tons of flavor.
