My family and I went to eat at the Mo's in the Vintage. We asked the super nice waitress for a GLUTEN FREE menu. She said the gluten free items were marked on the menu already. YEAH! My husband, who is celiac, was excited about the garlic cheese fries which clearly had a GF next to it. So he ordered it and ate almost the entire order. When he started to order his entree', he mentioned to the waitress how good the fries were and thrilled they were GF. She stated 'Those were not gluten free'. Apparently you have to tel the wait staff that you want it GF even though the menu clearly states GF. This was never told to my husband even though we asked for a gluten free menu. I complained to the manager of the kitchen and the manager of the restaurant. Neither seemed too concerned. My husband has now broken out severely due to the negligence of the management and the lack of training the wait staff has received. If you don't know anyone who suffers as a celiac, GOOGLE IT!!! This was the worst situation tht could possibly happen especially since, with a little training, the wait staff would know to state that GF is a special order!!!! The food was fine, but the mixed drinks were extremely weak, several of us in the party could not taste the alcohol in the drinks. The outdoor big blonde bartender was extremely short and rude, she made it extremely clear that I was not welcome at her bar, since I was at a table. I had gone to the bar to ask for a drink made, that I was afraid would be lost in the translation, she told me to move so a client could sit there. Ummm, my money spends the same. Went here for lunch today, first time ever going there. I ordered the French Dip sandwich, and was pretty disappointed. The meat in the sandwich was dry and flavorless, the bun was very plain, and I couldn't even taste the cheese. The fries were average, nothing special. My girlfriend ordered a Cob salad with ranch dressing instead of the vinaigrette. Her salad came out with the wrong dressing, so they took it back and made her a fresh one with the dressing she wanted. When the bill arrived, we were charged $3.99 to substitute shrimp for chicken on her salad. I thought that was a little steep. The atmosphere is really nice and comfortable. They have a great selection of craft beers, and Irish Whiskeys. I will definitely come back for drinks, but I'll be sure to hit a drive thru first, as the food was less than desirable. read more

This place is always crowded. We finally took the chance to try last night with party of 5 as before we don't understand why the review stay at in mediocre level. Don't get me wrong, the food was good with variety of the choices, same as beers. We were very enjoy the atmosphere there. However, I read the previous review that some of the price is not clear compared to what they on the menu. So today I checked my receipt I found one of the dish- MO's Ribs was charge for $19.98 but the menu is for $18.99. I know this is not even a dollar but I don't know if this is an isolated case or they always doing that way since not everyone is looking at each of the item...Just be careful. read more

Decided to have lunch and drinks here today. There were only a few customers. Only 2 other people were at the bar. But we couldn't get served because the blonde bartender was talking/flirting with a guy she had already served. We got tired of waiting and left. Why does management tolerate this kind of behavior? There is ONE reason for this terrible review --- MANAGEMENT!!!! Whoever is running this place, or better said, whoever the owner is needs to %&$%can the guy running this particular location. Last Friday we were there, me and my wife. There was a table full of people next to us, we got to talking to them, they were super fun, getting really into the band, appeared to be having a great time, and everyone around them was too. For some absolutely incomprehensible reason the manager shut them off and kicked them out. You could even tell their waitress was very upset that she had to carry out this directive. I hope beyond hope that the owners of Mo's reads their Yelp reviews, because they need to know they have a bad egg running this place...... read more

We went on Friday evening, we were seated with in 15 minutes. It was very busy, band playing and a lot of activity. Our waiter was great and the food even better! So glad you are out our way in Cypress! Have dined at your other restaurants and Mo's is just as delicious! read more

We have been to other Mo's and not nearly as impressed as we were with this one. The food was delicious, we had an appetizer and 3 entrees and no complaints. We sat outside on a gorgeous day and they had the best Irish band and dance team entertaining. Service slowed down a little after it got super packed, but the waiter still really took his time with us and explained everything and was AWESOME at recommending beers. Will say.... beers are a bit pricey even for craft. Next time we go it'll be happy hour :) read more

Went here with hubby and our teenage daughter. Not sure what is Irish about this place except for the green color and the shamrock funky knee socks of some of the waitresses. On the positive side it has a big patio which fits a huge amount of people. Parking was fine but there are no other business in this shopping center yet. I see this as a future problem. Ordered friend pickles as an appetizer. Okay, but for the price the portion was small and came on top of a bed of lettuce (I hate lettuce and anything it touches). My love of pickles prevailed. If there had been more I would have been happier. Teen and I ordered burgers. I ordered the burger that comes with a pat of butter, buttered bun and pickles. They put nothing else on it and didn't offer anything else until I was halfway through it. Waitress acknowledged it was a little late. My daughter had a bacon cheese burger which was okay. Asked for medium rare and it was cooked through but not overdone. Husband ordered fish and chips. Not bad, but not good. Small pieces of fish so I gave my husband my other half of my burger. Our tab is probably what would keep me from coming back too frequently. Just under $60 for 3 people - appetizer, 2 burgers, fish & 1 beer. Thank goodness we didn't have the other child with us or we would have been looking at a $75 tab for a "pub". I would only go back for some drinks and share an appetizer to hang out. The idea of this place is a really good one, the environment is cool. But, Worse service I have ever had. We showed up right before the kitchen closed and they were accommodating but the waitress almost used that as an excuse to be completely rude. Kara, the waitress had the worse attitude and when we asked her why she was being that way she escalated the being being insulting and at the end she even said Fu** you to someone in our dinner party. To split our checks up and get our cards back it took an hour and a half. This is after the meal and drinks were finished. I actually don't blame her because that's the vibe we got from a lot of employees. This has horrible management written all over. If I was involved with this establishment I would be embarrassed. Not coming back! Went here last night with my dad to celebrate his birthday. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks (my dad's draft was lukewarm). The two bartenders pretty much ignored us, was it because we were the only minorities in the pub (I use the term pub loosely, it is more of a sports bar)? Food came out cold. I got the chicken tenders and it was overly breaded (and over priced) and did not taste right. I asked for another side of fries just so I could eat something. 20 minutes later, the bartender brought me rice and I just laughed and said "oh, I asked for fries!" and she just gave a tight smile and took it back. After that, she never checked on us, did not say a word to us when we asked for the check and even when we paid, nothing. I walked into this bar not expecting anything crazy but once I sat down took in the atmosphere and customer service I will NEVER go to another bar ever again. The bartenders Lindsey, Mackenzie and Nicole totally knocked it out of the park, introducing me to new beers and drinks I felt like a VIP. MO's Irish pub is one of favorite bars to go to. Happy hour beer specials are great and there is no shortage of options on the food menu for lunch or dinner. The bar provides two types of atmospheres with sports and large tvs inside or a large patio with live music on the outside. Lindsay, Mackenzie and Patrick provide excellent service, always greet with a smile and provide great conversation. Overall this bar is always fun and never disappoints. read more

The ONLY reason I'm giving MO's 2 stars is because of their patio entertainment AND Tomato Basil Soup (YUM) and fried Calamari (no real flavor but at least it's not tough; needs extra lemons on the side to boost the freshness and overall integrity of the fried squid). We have tried a lot of different food selections and come up disappointed every single time. Both quality and proper execution is lacking. Unbalanced in flavors, ratios of protein to bread is way off on sandwiches and well, generally lacking in flavor. The money paid is not worth the food received. Guinness is something they SHOULD do really well given this is an Irish themed pub but somehow they carbonated it and killed the richness one so desires in a thick dark brew. We did inform the Manager and he said he would check into it and offered us a different selection on the house. A perk to this Pub are the many TVs spaced about the inside and outside thus allowing dedicated sports fans to cheer on their team of choice while enjoying a cold one or three. The bands hired are hit or miss in talent. We have enjoyed a few and others sounded a bit like Open-Mic-Night at your local dive. Proceed with caution is all I can say. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars.. I am a regular at Mo's Irish Pub and have gone to almost every location. This is the worst of the locations, the food is good and we love the beer selection and we usually love the waitress/waiters who serve on us. I have noticed that the staff frequently changes and this is the start to my terrible experience. We get a server named Nicole a cute short girl with brown hair( I thought she would be nice);, when she came to our table her expression was so blank I felt uncomfortable... She hardly spoke to us and when she did it was " what do you want to drink" not even saying her name until I asked. The drinks took 10 minutes to come out and where I asked her where they were she said "uh mam cant you see were busy" I was appalled. She brought us our drinks and disappeared for another 20 minutes when my husband noticed her going into her car multiple times then coming out in a hurry.. This is when my husband noticed her blood shot eyes when she took our food order.. and asked if she was okay.. The food was brought out okay and we weren't even asked if the food was good or not.. we at the end asked to speak to the manager about her wanting to know why she was hired. And we were told there was no manager on the floor and that the staff was taking over at the moment. I will never come back to this Mo's especially now that the service has dramatically decreased. We went last night to check out Mo's. Impressed by the size of the place and the atmosphere. We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks and were pretty hungry so we decided to get the sampler which comes with chicken quesadillas, chips and queso, and cheeseburger bites. When the food came out, the chicken quesadillas were not warm by any means, even the ones on the bottom, pretty cold actually. The chips were very stale and the queso was barely warm and looked as if it were sitting there for a while. The cheeseburger bites were warm, but not that great. We let the bartender know, and advised she didn't need to take it back but just wanted to inform her. She greatly apologized and asked if we wanted anything else or if we wanted it taken off our bill. We said no, because we understand things happen but she did it anyway. When we saw the manager come out from the back, she seemed to have told him the issue and he had horrible attitude and said it was taken right out when it was done. Found it very surprising that the manager wouldn't even come over to apologize. So on that note, we left. If we ever come back, it won't be for the food. Hopefully management here will change. read more

Took my wife snd two daughters there for our 46th anniversary lunch. Food unremarkable. Appetizer sampler platter was ok, but not worth the price. Sauces were salty. Onion rings were perfectly cooked but salty. wrap sandwich was big enough to take half home for tomorrow. The service was terrible. We were seated promptly, and the service person took our drink order and food order promptly. Food was served hot snd in an acceptable amount of time. That was the last time any staff stopped by our table. We wanted to order another round from the bar. Never happened. Two of the four water glasses were empty before entrees were served, but never once refilled. That is wholly unacceptwble on a day when the restaurant was less than half full. Having been in the business for years, I remind my guests, and my employees, people vote with their dollars. And then the proprietor wonders why profit isn't made. read more

Honestly....I am in shock. Why is the manager drinking behind the bar during business hours.....OR any hours while on the clock. I was with my husband and some friends on Friday during happy hour and I was walking to the restroom and I saw one of the managers chugging a beer behind the bar. When I got back to the table about 30 minutes later, I saw him taking shots discretely but obviously, it was not good enough. Dined at this establishment tonight, my compliments to the cook and bar tender as the food and drinks were very good. There is opportunity for improvement with the waitress we had, very nice young lady although seemed to struggle with correctly taking our order, forgetting to bring my wife her drink and forgetting to bring my salad, we had to remind her on three occasions throughout our dining experience. Additionally before I was half way through my meal she wanted to know if we were ready to order desert. Not sure if she is new, I am confident if she receives a bit of mentoring, slows down and concentrates on the task at hand she will be fine. read more

If you want to be ignored, sit at the bar. This is a recurring issue at both the Cypress and Katy locations. Service is inconsistent. Sometimes you wait continuously for your first order and each consecutive one thereafter. Sometimes you get lucky and get served right away, but have to wait the rest of the time. No, this is not when the place is packed full of people, but most often when there are just a handful of customers. In addition, my friends and I have witnessed multiple times where the bartender will ask everyone else at the bar if they would like something/anything else while they just stroll right past without even a glance in our direction. What's up with that?? I'd consider myself sort of a regular, but that doesn't mean anything apparently. Regular or new, it's the careless attitudes of most of the bar staff. They'd prefer just to stand around and chat and try to look busy than to provide an enjoyable experience. And to point out an observation, the male staff seem to provide better service than the females for some reason. Unfortunately, there are only one or two good bartenders. As the philosophy goes, top-down management. So who's to blame?? And why do we keep going back?? Because the food and draft beer selection are not worth being ignored on a recurring basis... and there's nothing Irish about the American Sports Bar that it really is!! read more
