Always good beer and a packed house. Good vibe but I feel like they need to ID people more in here. Was here the other night and it looked like there were 15 year olds walking around with beers. Bar staff is very good with service and the hostess was awesome. The food went downhill though so they get a lower rating. I used to love the Mac and cheese with tomato bisque but the last couple of times it's come out very cold and just not appetizing. I'd say stick to the Jameson glazed chicken or salmon. I met a friend at Mo's for lunch on Thursday, March 22nd. We were greeted by Grace, our waitress, who took great care of us during lunch. I ordered the Southwestern Shrimp Chopped Salad for my meal. The salad contained Grilled Guinness® Barbecue-marinated shrimp on a bed of chopped romaine lettuce, black beans, corn, avocado, shredded White Cheddar, red bell pepper and diced tomatoes tossed in a red wine vinaigrette and topped with crispy tortilla strips, and served with a side of zesty salsa. There were two skewers of shrimp, with about 5-6 shrimp per skewer which was wonderful! Most grilled shrimp salads that I've had have maybe at most, 6 pieces of shrimp. Mo's did not skimp on the shrimp at all which I loved. Each bite was packed with flavor and was a perfect blend of each of the components. One of the better meals that I've eaten here. read more

We recently had a mini meet for our Jeep group here. A few of us ordered food and really enjoyed our fare. The burgers were a huge hit and the beer special was great. $2 Dos Equis! We had to have several tables brought together on the patio and the staff really accommodated us by bringing tables from other areas. Our waitress Arianna went above and beyond to make sure we stayed "hydrated" and taken care of. The only downside is that the band started 1 1/2 hours early and since we were on the patio, we couldn't really talk too much to each other. It saddens me to give Mo's a bad review because their food is really tasty. However the service I have experienced here on three different occasions has changed my mind about this location. Also I've never actually successfully dined in at this location and despite this I still received less than stellar service. So let's start... 1st offense: I ordered over the phone and asked for a burger. I was informed that it came with a complimentary side, and I chose the onions rings.Once I arrived at the store to pick up my food I found out that I was being charged around 2.99 for 3 onion rings which despite not being free were also soggy. My second negative encounter with Mo's is in my opinion the worst. My boyfriend and I arrived very late in the evening (it was past 11pm) and we were looking for some food. We sat at the bar and a waitress came by and gave us menu's to order food. Around 5 minutes later, another waitress came by and ripped the menu out of my hands and told me that the kitchen was closed and that they were no longer serving food. This was kinda upsetting since we thought were were going to get to eat, but personally what's more upsetting is that thus far I had never had a waitress take something out out of my hands like that. Needless to say, we left with empty stomach that day. And finally the last strike, I recently ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup to-go. I ordered over the phone and was informed it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived at the store 30 minutes after I had placed my order and I was told my food still wasn't ready. I waited in the restaurant for my food to come out, but it never did so I asked a manager to please check on my order. Turns out my food had been sitting in the back while I was waiting and I ended up waiting a total of 50 minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich. Overall this restaurant is always busy in the evenings, so I understand that service can be slow... but this location only keeps disappointing me which is a shame because I really like the food. read more

Service is pleasant and attentive, good atmosphere, food is great. They also have a really good Bloody Mary mix and of course good beer. Came to Mo's twice in a weekend. I was staying at a hotel right down the street, and the hotel recommended this place for Saturday even cocktails. On Sunday, we had planned to come after an afternoon wedding. Friday night, we ordered the nachos, and 2 orders of cheese curds. Don't pass up the curds, they were delicious, as were the nachos. And the nachos were large enough for 4 people to share, with plenty, and I mean plenty left over. The drink selection can't be beat, nor the prices. The waitresses both nights was great! Its a fairly large pub, with live music on the large covered patio. On Sunday, the bride had made reservations 2 weeks prior, but when we arrived, there was nothing reserved. The bride was on her way, and had to call to speak with the manager, as nothing was being done to accomate the huge party. They finally gathered tables and made space. The waitress was excellent at keeping up with such a large party. Had the rueben sandwhich, only ate half, it was delicious. Most of the plates I saw were large enough to be shared with someone else. I live in San Antonio, but will definitely be making a pitstop at Mo's next time I am in town. Clean bathrooms, great food and drinks and service that can't be beat. read more

Why would someone simply turn off a game in the tv without asking the people intently watching... PARTICULARLY when the people watching have shirts that support one of the teams playing??? How rude is it? The reason I'm there is to have a drink, eat dinner and WATCH MY TEAM. My hubby and I have been wanting to try Mo's. The atmosphere was very pub-like and welcoming. Our waitress, "Britney" was friendly and accommodating. Our table had sticky stuff on it and she cleaned it up right away for us. The beer wasn't cold enough as though it was sitting at the bar for a while. The Jalapeño grilled cheese had way too many seeds left in it making me gasp for water upon my first bite. The biggest fail was a chicken bone found in my hubby's bowl of Chicken and Rice soup. The soup should've been taken off of our bill as it was a rather big bone which we showed our waitress. The manager just stood around talking with the staff and he didn't really care about any of the customers, much less being a manager of a pub. Perhaps he was having an off day, nonetheless, it would've been nice if he had said hello to customers and checked on their orders. We may give it another try in the future. read more

When we go here, we order for our family of six, so not talking chump change. But the last three times, they've forgotten one entire order. I'll be straight to the point here ...watch your credit card statement. They like to add in additional tips on top of what you give, and our a higher charge on your account. Not only that, if you call the manager (I forget the name but he is a guy who is highly untrustworthy at this point), you will be even more frustrated. The first time I called him to explain the issue, he said he would get back to me in 20 minutes. Um, okay even though you can easily address the overcharge issue now, I'll wait. ONE HOUR LATER....I can back because he didn't get back to me. He went to the bank and had some personal stuff to take care of, so he forgot about my issue. This time I told him not to call me back and that I would stay on. He took forever to look my receipt up after I gave him my card and name and whatnot. He wouldn't believe me that they overcharged and I told him that I did not leave THAT generous of a tip. They essentially decided to double the tip I had left them. Then after finally agreeing to fix the issue, I check back the next day and nothing has changed in my balance. Furthermore both managers were not present at lunch time. Okay.... So the food? The fried chicken sandwich was pathetic. Looked like fish fillet so texture threw me and my co workers off. The food was average if that. The fries weren't that bad, and were the better part of the meal. They do charge an extra 50 cents for a small tiny cup of ranch and honey mustard and whatnot. Horrendous service and subpar food that isn't worth the price is what you'll get here. Plenty of other options in the area to check out so I recommend AVOIDING this place. read more

What a great place close to home. The vintage has really stepped up its game in recent years and become a great place to grab a movie, food, or drinks. Mo's is an excellent addition. Went in on a busy Saturday night with my family to celebrate the holidays with a beer. Place was packed but we lucked out with a table. They had a solid selection of beers and the food looked interesting on hte menu (didnt try anything but looked like better than avg pub food). I liked the vibe of the place alot. Great mix of young and old. Staff was friendly. And they had live music who was playing some solid Tom Petty and classic rock. The positives first: The fried pickles were awesome. They tasted and looked like they were battered in-house and not bought frozen. That's a big plus. There's plenty of beer, but most of it could be easily obtained at any HEB - so nothing fancy here really. I guess that's more of a "meh" than a plus or minus. Now that I think on it, I don't think anything was really negative. Other than the pickles, it was all just kind of "meh". I got the Jameson burger and while it was good, it wasn't cooked as I asked and the flavor of the sweet Jameson sauce started to becoming overpowering. It was overpowering the blue cheese that I assume was supposed to be the yin to the sauce's yang. The fact that it was overpowering giant chunks of blue cheese alone shows just how sweet this sauce is. Oh well. I'd come here again with a group maybe, otherwise there are plenty of other places in Vintage Park to try. read more

When we first arrived they did not have the reservation the bride made 2 weeks prior. After much standing around, calling the bride and talking to the manager they made room for us. The 1 waitress we had was fantastic and very attentive! The food was delicious and the ambience fun. The food was a little slow coming out but that was to be expected. Sitting at the table making this review. We ordered fish and chips. 2 out of the 4 strips of fish were completely soggy and inedible. The 2 that were eaten had some soggy parts too. Not crispy at all. The waiter went and told the manager. Not only were the fish and chips still on our ticket, but the manager didn't even come over to apologize to us. Once we went and found him we found out the server never told him. He came over and offered to put the next order of fish and chips on him when we came back. It would have been good customer service to at least take a percentage off the ticket. The French dip sandwich I get from Wolfies is better. We won't be back. read more
