Steak night and it's worth the price! Great drinks too! Stephanie is an awesome bartender.... 5 stars!!!

Solid place. Burgers are awesome for a good price. (1/2 pound for around $8-$10 with various toppings) The fried appetizers that I ordered were previously frozen (mushrooms and onion rings) but they were well-cooked and crispy. The beer prices are competitive and service was very good. THE KITCHEN IS APPARENTLY CLOSED ON SUNDAY, but the Manager Stephanie fired up the grill and fryer for us and cooked our late lunch herself!. Talk about customer service, but I bet she was cussing us when she had to cleanup the grill. Lol What a pleasant experience. Although there only about a dozen people when we arrived, it was above and beyond expectations. I would recommend this bar and grill to anyone who wants to come in for a beer and meaty burger. The menu is better than a typical icehouse style bar, and I am looking forward to trying the chicken fried steak sandwich. I also love the classic honky tonk music. The patrons were mild mannered and quiet as one would want. We were even blessed when a customer bought the whole bar a round. WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE? That was probably the reason for the ringing of the loud bell, but a shout out to Thomas! What a great atmosphere to spend a relaxing weekend afternoon. I highly recommend this place, but try and come when the kitchen is open.

Mushroom Swiss burger basket (with fries) - I already ate half the fries. Delicious burger and fries fried perfectly!!

I will definitely be back - the beautiful weather allowed the 3 garage doors to remain open. The fried items: mushrooms, onion rings, and potato fries were cooked perfectly. The mushroom Swiss burger has double patties and double cheese with the mushrooms between the two patties, served with mustard, fresh tomato slice, and iceberg lettuce. I requested mayonnaise on the side and it arrived in the basket along with the ketchup; great job, I usually have to ask several time for mayo on the side. The ice cold bottled beer was a nice pairing. Very pleasant experience with football game on the TV and classic country on the juke box. The manager, Stephanie, was accommodating and helpful with her spot on recommendations.

I love a good dive bar. The gravel parking lot, the off-the-beaten-path location, and the wooden building all pulled me in. I am always a little leery of a place that serves drinks in plastic cups instead of glassware but after one of Sam's stiff drinks, I didn't mind much. The burger I ordered was great! Juicy and monstrous, just as advertised. Everything was fairly cheap. This smokey dive was a great find. Friendly staff and regulars, clean bathrooms, and cheap drinks. I'll definitely be back!

First time trying Chef's Table, a South African inspired ambient new American restaurant! The…read moreinterior is dark and moody, and features a lot of the chef's South African memoirs. You can choose to sit either inside or outside. We went with the Houston Restaurant week menu which features some of their most popular dishes. For the appetizer, we tried the sautéed calamari and gumbo. The calamari had a nice creamy garlic sauce which paired well the sautéed bell pepper, onions, and tender calamari. Their gumbo is solid, not too spicy and had nicely cooked rice and a mix of toppings. The rice had a good bite and absorbed the flavor from the gumbo well. I would recommend the sautéed calamari. For entrees, we ordered the wild caught king clip and steak Diane. The very buttery king clip comes with sautéed spinach and is basted in a creamy, slightly lemony sauce which compliments both elements of the dish. The kingclip is garnished with micro greens and comes with an extra lemon for additional acidity, but I felt that it wasn't needed. The steak Diane had a medium cook and was soooo tender to the bite. I would recommend both, but partial towards the king clip if you want to try something unique! Lastly for dessert, I ordered the passion fruit crème brûlée which had such a unique flavor profile! The tartness of the passion fruit goes surprisingly well with the warm vanilla custard. The texture of the creme brûlée toasted sugar top was perfect as well and added a really nice crunch to every bite. My friend ordered their sticky toffee pudding, which was arguably the best one I've had yet. The toffee syrup is incredibly rich and adds a nice caramelized flavor to the ice cream and moist cake base. It's garnished with bits of sugary crumble and fruit. You really can't go wrong with either, but if I had to pick, their sticky toffee pudding is a must try. All in all, such a fun and intimate dining experience!

We were seated in a booth that felt quite cramped for a business meeting. Next time, we'd likely request a more open, well-lit table. We ordered several dishes, but the Chilean sea bass was disappointing. It was dry, lacked the buttery texture it's known for, and was quite bland. We also requested a side of hot sauce, but that request was overlooked. To end the meal, we planned to order coffee and toffee instead of dessert. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, we were told the coffee machine had broken. Unfortunately, by then the server seemed eager to wrap things up and didn't really give us the opportunity to consider any other after-meal options. Overall, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and we can see why it's popular, but the food execution and service fell short of our expectations, especially for a business lunch. We hope these issues were just an off day, as we'd like to give it another chance.

The sports bar had R&B playing moderately loud (but no issues carrying on a conversation). I can only imagine the vibe may be different with larger crowds in the evenings/weekends. The menu is a QR code on the table. They have a large outside covered patio. Lots of TV's inside & outside. The salmon salad was very good. The salmon was cooked just right & very well seasoned. Nice size, generous amount of toppings (eggs, tomatoes, onions) such that I had toppings in every bite with my lettuce. The entire salad, dusted with a cajun seasoning, was a nice touch. Food was served in a metal plate with plasticware & plastic cups. (I'm sure the 'plastic' is helpful for managing the outside dining.) Chef Dee came out to check on us. She saw me taking a picture of my food & playfully said 'hey you gotta take a pic of the chef who created it'. Of course I took her pic!! Based on my salmon salad, I would definitely try other items on the menu if ever in the area again. Try them out. If you don't prefer a crowd, pop in for lunch.

The self-service fountain drink area smelled strongly of mildew or old sponges, and the counter was very sticky and wet. I understand a mess during a lunch rush, but the lingering odor was a big turn off. I ordered a White Chicken Parm, and the chicken was unpleasantly rubbery in some areas- I regretfully had to spit out a piece, which I genuinely try not to do out of respect. Pasta was also too salty for my taste. The menu description also lists broccolini, but the reality was more of regular broccoli that was also soft to the point of being slightly mushy. I'm hoping the best for this restaurant, and also hope that this may have been an off day since there are recent good reviews; but in the meantime, I'll be exploring other Vintage Park options for lunch. - Ambiance: 2/5 - Food: 2/5 - Service: 4/5

The menu was not very big so it made me think that they would be really good at what they made. That logic proved right. I started with an appetizer of humus and my son ordered the cheese pizza. At first, I wasn't impressed with his pizza based on looks -- then I tasted it. The pizza was really good. The humus was also really solid. For my main, I ordered a burger. I think I was so hungry that I forgot to snap a pic of it. Regardless, it also was a really good burger. The restaurant is an order from the counter concept and then take a seat. You're on the hook for your refills / condiments / dinnerware. I like that. Only drawback is the parking situation. The front lot is pretty small and there were no spaces. Otherwise, I really like the place! Thank you to the Yelpers who went before me and left the good reviews and enticing pictures.

Although there is a drive-through window, where people can Play Through, I entered the Club House to see the choices. They also sell kolaches. There was only one person in front of me in line, so I was not concerned about anyone trying to use a Wedge to get closer. After that other customer ordered (who was not Teed Off), I was Away. So, I ordered a dozen donuts variety (they don't have as big a variety as Shipley's or others) and some cinnamon rolls. Standard Green Fee is charged for donuts as with other donut shops. I had no Caddie to help, so I carry them out. At the office I tried a chocolate glazed donut (i.e. has Hole in One), as it was a Gimmee. The rest of the guys took on the Back Nine. I adjusted my Grip and Stance, and took a bite. It was soft and not too sugary, so I did not have to replace the Divot in the donut. As for the cinnamon roll, I Sliced it, since it was so big (6" diameter) and had to share. It tasted more like a donut than a traditional (like Cinnabon) roll, and needed more cinnamon. I give this entry a Bogey. This donut shop is on Par with others. My Handicap is that I like the soft texture and less sugar and grease, so that outweighs the limitations on variety and the inferior cinnamon roll.
