Oh I went in there during lunch and asked for three items one of the items happen to be a chicken plate number one all I wanted was no rice and they kept telling me they wanted to put lettuce on the bottom of it I said don't put any lettuce they started yelling at me and I told him how hard is it to make it without lettuce then he handed me my money back after I had paid for it service was horrible there was a chunky Mexican guy in the back running the show and I just wasted my lunch break coming over here absolutely disgusting also they didn't wipe down their food plate where they were cutting everything nobody was wearing gloves horrible I would not recommend this to anyone read more

I'm so sad that I forgot to take a picture before I ate my damn food! I used to live in the area and I ate here frequently. It had been a few years since I had eaten here and took my kids here while I was in the area on the weekend. The food tasted the same to me as before. Pure teriyaki awesomeness! I usually order the teriyaki chicken and beef combo with extra pork. The teriyaki meat is placed on top of a bed of rice. A small side salad with sweet dressing is served with an eggroll and a gyzoya (I think that's what it is called - A wonton wrapper with chicken and vegetables). My kids absolutely loved the food and I did too. They will never want to visit Flame Broiler or Waba Grill again! I do recommend you to use the drive-thru as the restaurant itself is not that pleasant. This building is older than me. It was a Don Cisco, then Mr. Chris' and this place for the last 20 plus years. I actually took a picture of the disgusting restroom but decided not to post it since I forgot to take my food pic. All I can say about the restroom is, "Do not go in there..." Mos 2 doesn't look like much, but they make a really great teriyaki bowl. It is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. There is a McDonalds next door, but do yourself a favor and get some real, fresh beef(or chicken) at Mos 2. :P Service/ambiance: Service is good and they get your food out really quickly. We ordered 3 large beef/chicken bowls and probably only had to wait 5 minutes (or less). As far as ambiance, it's a small place and there isn't much by way of seating/quality of seating. I 100% recommend getting your food to-go...you'll enjoy it more while sitting at home or even on your car. Food: Teriyaki beef and chicken are very good. I think I like the meat better here than at than Flame Broiler. Also you get more for your money at Mos 2. A Medium teriyaki bowl is $6.50 and a large is $7...so for goodness sakes, get the large!! Have leftovers if you want! But do it. The only downside is that they only offer white rice. Not a deal breaker, but I wish brown rice was an option. Parking: Easy to park, small private lot next to the restaurant. There is never really a crowd scene there is parking isn't difficult. *Tip: Don't go through the drive through, because it doesn't work. I give Mos 2: 3.5 stars and I recommend getting a takeout beef or chicken bowl if you're in the area. Beef and chicken are equally good in my opinion. read more

Just tried this spot last week. Food was pretty good, not amazing but they do give you a lot of food for the price. I ordered the teriyaki beef and shrimp plate which also come with a salad, egg roll and a gyoza so that's definitely a plus. Docked them one star because I asked for a Pepsj but it didn't taste right, either He accidentally gave me a diet or their soda was flat. Couldn't tell. Will be back though. read more

This is by far my fav mos 2! I go several times a week! The guy at the window is super friendly, he always has a smile on his face and is always quick to help you! It is true, the food is pretty inconsistent, but it always pretty good. I have been here where the food is burned and you get a major char flavor. One of my friends love this place. According to him, this is by far the best teriyaki spot on the planet. It was decent, it's not something you should brag about or come back for a second time. I visited this location yesterday and sadly the inside was closed. However, the drive thru was still open. There were 4-5 cars in front of me so the wait was long. Luckily, 2 of the cars could not handle and left. I wanted to leave too, but at the same time, I was too lazy to drive to a different location. I ended up ordering number 4 (Teriyaki Beef and Chicken). I recommend getting the beef since it was tender and flavorful, however, the chicken was bland (do not get it). The combo also came with an egg roll and a gyoza (not crunchy at all, they were soggy). The Mexican drink (pina) that I got had to be the highlight of the meal. It was so refreshing and delicious. Been going here for about 14 years. The teriyaki bowl has not been surpassed by any other since day 1. I've tried other places and they just don't have the sauce or the meat right. I can always count on Mos 2 to get delicious food. We always get the chicken and beef combo. No complaints at all. And the salad with the dressing is AMAZING! I love the dressing. I've recommended several friends and now they're hooked as well. They have a drive-thru (thank goodness!) You don't talk through a lit up menu though. You check it out, drive up to the window and place your order with a real person. Which is better in my opinion because some places, I can't understand the speaker due to a poor quality system. Plus I like being able to talk to a person face to face. I've been to 2 other Mos 2 locations, Santa Ana and Anaheim and everything is consistent and service has always been great. No long lines inside, and in 14 years I've never had to wait long in the drive thru but honestly, its worth the wait if it gets that long. The max is 3 cars in front of me, but each one gets serviced within 5 min. My kids are picky and they love it too! Solid 4 star hole in the wall teriyaki place. I recommend using the drive-thru only. The inside is a dump and always stuffy. The staff is nice, portions are large, and the prices are spot on. On average $6.25 for most plates. I say go with anything teriyaki but steer clear of the fried food plates. They aren't up to par for fried food. The drive-thru is funny, there is a small little window that you order at...no intercom. Also, come with cash in had as they only take cash here. Don't judge the food by restaurant decor...I know you'll want to at Mos No 2. It's sort of a rundown place...I think hole-in-the-wall is generous in describing it. Nothing seems all that clean...the "drive-thru" doesn't even have a speaker box - you actually drive up to the window and then order. I probably would not come here at night alone. Those were all things you should really overlook though. The food is delicious! They have bowls/combos with chicken, beef or fried seafood. Combos come with a gyoza and salad...both pretty tasty. I like the chicken best...be sure to get some of the awesome sauce to pour on top (they put some on for you but you should definitely get extra). The food reminds me of The Flame Broiler but I actually like it better here & it's cheaper...it's just not as spic and span. =) For a quick bite to go, Mos No 2 is good food at a good price. 3.5 stars. read more

If you want some quick teriyaki for a good price, this is the place to be. The largest bowl costs no more then $6, and they do pile on the chicken here as well. If you are in drive thru, I would highly recommend asking for more sauce. They give you a small packet that is barely enough to slather up one chick in the bowl. I know they also have horchata on tap as well. How about that for a teriyaki place with a little latin influence. I do have to deduct one star because this place only serves brown meat chicken. Easy to order. And food tastes amazing! Had the #7 chicken combo with fried fish, and I love how they add extras in there like salad, a gyoza and a veggie egg roll. This combo was so big, that it was good for 3 people. The only thing that was a small nuisance for me was that they didn't include any sauce for the fried fish, or for the egg roll and gyoza. Went in there today around 1 pm, I ordered 3 combos One of them with extra chicken. When I paid , the food was instantly ready which I thought it was weird since there usually a little bit of a wait, I immediately thought that they must have had the plates ready and I was right, when I got home everything was cold and the egg roll and gyoza was super soggy on all the combo plates. I had to microwave everyone food. I regret not asking the guys why it came out so quick or if they already had them ready. It probably took longer to get my large horchata then the 3 combo plates. I was super bummed out because I was really looking forward to some fresh teriyaki the way mos does it but this experience sucked. And to top it off, the restaurant wasn't even busy. I was the only person in the drive thru. I get it if they were busy and wanted to get the food out quickly to avoid long waits but it wasn't at all. Also the combo with the extra chicken didn't even have extra chicken. I didn't even eat my food comfortably anymore after microwaving it. I now live by this location, and in the 5 years I've lived here I never bothered to try it. My husband had suggested it once or twice, but I was a bit afraid. The place is a little dive-y. But don't let the exterior fool you! We ordered the beef & chicken combo, which came with a salad, an eggroll and gyoza. The chicken is tender and tasty, but the beef was my favorite.
