Let me just say, that I was not expecting this place to be so phenomenal. I got the steak sandwich and let me tell you - I was beyond impressed. The steak was cooked absolutely perfectly to my request. I am waiting for them to open so I can order another. WOW - so delicious. The fish and chips were also amazing

4+ an old neighborhood bar that feels like it's been around for a very, very long time. Around the cluster of restaurants and bars in Playa Del Rey, this place offers up your standard type menu in addition to some elevated items such as steaks. The server I had was friendly and helpful. I was in the area, walking the dog and was trying to find something open on the later side that's dog friendly. They had a patio so it looked perfect. I ordered a beer, the soup of the day and some onion rings. I didn't want eat anything big or too much meat so this was perfect at the time. The onion rings came out hot and fresh and the clam chowder was good. The cold beer was very refreshing. All in all solid place to have a meal, especially if you live or are in the area. Pretty good selection of beers and spirits as well. It is a bar after all.

We absolutely love Mo's. We hadn't been here in a very long time we realized last night because it was all redone so nicely inside. It was a go to spot for our friends that moved away so a must go whenever they're in town. The food is excellent. The neighborhood cozy vibe with a yummy array of food choices. I tried everyone's food except for the turkey dip lol but that looked great too. The chicken tenders were not frozen and you could tell hand pounded just wonderful. The steaks and side salads for me always a huge hit. Juicy delicious burger with jalapeños and great fries and onion rings. I had the shrimp Caesar and ate the whole thing. Excellent service by the blonde bartender (sorry forgot your name!) need to come back again sooner than later this time. Love love this local spot.

Great, lively spot to watch spots, grab beers on tap and have burgers, sandwiches or other bar food (including steak)!

This is the local bar where everyone knows your name and it's awesome. You refresh the chicken strips and added fries; both came out piping hot and quick. It's bar food but not boring. Great pours and fun environment, plenty of tvs for any and all sports (multiple playing at once so take your choice). Mondays are a must see experience during MMF & the owner is an absolute delight.

Last night, the Branzino was fabulous, and we also loved the artichoke, trout dip, and calamari. The Old Fashioneds are hands-down some of the best on the Westside. It was also a pleasure meeting Nick Roberts. The camaraderie and mutual respect between him and the staff was obvious and really added to the welcoming atmosphere. On the left: Dockside restaurant: Intimate restaurant for dinner and brunch on weekend. But while it is "intimate" and higher end pricing, it's very accessible ($20-40) and feels very laid back. Beach chic eating! On the right, there's a a visually more laid back lunch side, next to an ice cream/coffee section. A nice bar area connecting the two sides. I had brunch at Dockside. Fantastic! I had the crab and shrimp eggs Benedict. Creamy delicious sauce with generous but not overpowering crab and shrimp. My friend had the salmon salad and shared. It too was wonderful! Crisply lettuce leaves with a gentle, slightly sweet vinaigrette and salmon fillet grilled perfectly. Other than the waiter forgetting my coffee, service was good. I wasn't an issue, I was having a great time! Then we walked the beach - wonderful area without a lot of commercialization. More natural beach, no pier. Then returned for the ice cream and coffee. I was being greedy! Had a matcha affogato AND a large cinnamon roll. It was worth it!!! Top it all off, despite having lots of customers throughout the day, they managed to have clean, more upscale bathrooms. I have to love this place! I'm so glad my friend showed me this place. It's the perfect beachside chill restaurant. Easily accessible to the beach, with great food, sizable bar, and basically everything you could want while chilling on the weekend! Didn't take pics. Too busy enjoying myself.

The space is awesome. Two bars, one on each side, and a massive back patio that really opens things up. The left side (Bar 2) is where the karaoke happens, and that's when the place really comes alive. It pulls in a great crowd and turns the whole night into an experience. Overall vibe is cozy, relaxed, and very down to earth. Food is solid, but the veggie burger with onion rings is the star. Easily the thing we keep coming back for. Drink selection is moderate, but the bartenders are flexible and will pretty much make whatever you're in the mood for. Prices are reasonable, which makes it even easier to hang out for a while. The back patio is a big win, especially for groups. Great spot to step out, get some air, and still keep the energy going. The bartenders are genuinely friendly and make the place feel welcoming. You'll meet all kinds of people here, but everyone shares the same easygoing, friendly vibe. Overall, a fun, reliable spot when you want a laid-back night with a little personality.

I've visited this spot through several management changes, but I'm really rooting for P.V. House to stay. Everything from the flawless service to the menu is top-tier. The employees are very cordial and helpful. The first thing I had a problem with was the fact that there's no prices on the drinks Menu! So whatever drinks you want, you have to ask the waiter if you care about how much it cost, which is something not a big fan of at all. PRICES should be on the menu. There was a bit of miscommunication with the waiter and I think he just has to pay a better attention to what the customers are saying. He was still a very nice person and he meant well. As far as the food goes, First, my wife and I shared a fish and chips. I really like the fries and the seasoning on them. The size of the pieces of fish were definitely on the small side, but they gave us four small pieces and we split it. I would have liked it if they were a little bit larger. Since we will still hungry we ordered the chili, the only chili they have is made with vegetarian meat. I definitely would have preferred beef (:. The bottom line is I really like the atmosphere and it was a good time. I definitely see some room for improvement on a few things. I will patronize them in the future when I'm in the area. I wish this local sports are the best. I hope they make it big!
