I came here with my mom on a Thursday. It looked crowded from outside but this place is HUGE inside so we were sat immediately. My mom got the steamed shrimp special with potatoes and onions for $15 and I got the swordfish special. The best deal was the swordfish - it came served over mashed potatoes with a side of cabbage slaw and a side of my choice. It also came with a side of soup, I chose Maryland crab...AND a slice of cake, all for $20. I chose the pumpkin cheesecake as my cake and it was fresh and topped with walnuts, it was absolutely amazing!!!! Keri was polite and attentive to our needs. This white Marsh location is giving Mo's seafood a bad name. Not sure how long this location has been open , but inside was not clean - blinds were very dusty and floor did not look clean- waitress was very nice and service was fast. Last night I was highly impressed by the high quality of friendly service that my friends and I had experienced at this trustworthy and great seafood establishment. The decor of the room where we ate our dinner was truly very clean, organized and it had corrugated steel wainscoting along the walls as well as hooks and a small coat to keep your jacket and small stuff. The Filet Mignon and crab that I had was very tasty and delicious but I had only had about half of the crab. We were treated rather good and professionally and good by our super friendly hostess. Would not mind going here again . Two thumbs up. :). One word of friendly advice: before you use the salt and pepper shakers, please make sure that the lids are tightly secured to the bottles. If you do not tighten the lids securely than the lids will fall off and spill an excessive amount of seasoning onto your food making it unfit for human consumption. Probably one of the worst seafood restaurants I've ever been to. First let's start with the restaurant itself. It was dirty. Plain and simple. Grime, dust and I even found some French fries in the plant behind me! Food underneath. The waiters/waitresses were also toxic. They seemed like they really didn't wanna serve us or be there at all. So we order and I tried something with shrimp, scallops, lobster, and crab all in one. And everyone else orders a salad. They bring it really quickly and the food was terrible. My seafood thing was cold and not fresh. Plus really greasy. And the salad we received? Huge proportions. I just left Mo's Seafood to pick up carry out. The experience overall was dissapointing. My husband encountered a man loudly cursing and dissrepecting a young lady accompanying him at the bar. This place really needs an off duty police officer. Now I frequent Mo's for their jumbo lump crab cakes. The crab cake was full of filler this time and very little lump crab meat. I could hardly taste the crab cake for the filler. The manager was sarcastic at best not helpful at all suggesting I return it and they will replace it tonight or place it in the refrigerator. I just wanted to make him aware they need to continue to serve what customers are paying for as I am not going to drive all the way back to return a crab cake. I just picked out the crabmeat and left the filler. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because my husband enjoyed the surf and turf. read more

The food is good. They give you nice large portions for reasonable amounts of money. I have been here three times during Happy Hour. Obviously, the crowd is different on a Thursday evening vs. a Friday night. Either way, there are plenty of fun, friendly people that frequent this place. There are several large TV screens that surround the bar (usually tuned into sports). Between that and the people watching, the setting is entertaining for groups or individuals. I have not yet sat in the "dining area", but I thoroughly enjoyed the bar service. Ashley and Melissa are great bartenders that provide awesome service. Happy hour specials are great with $3.50 rails, $2.50 domestic bottles, and a $5.00 specialty drink called a "crush". But even after 7pm, drinks prices are completely reasonable. And nothing tops the $6 appetizers that are available. A 17% tip is automatically added to ALL dine-in as mentioned on the website, on the menu, and in the restaurant. 5% gratuity is tacked on to carry out orders. I would not necessarily call this a "family restaurant", but if you are between the ages of 21 - 80 and enjoy a dynamic and diverse environment with decent food and drinks, I would highly recommend Mo's Seafood in White Marsh. read more

Wow! What an amazing amount of food per order! These portions even make Cheesecake Factory's portions look small.....and we were there for lunch, not dinner! My wife got the Greek Seafood salad and it came out in a bowl so large she asked if it was supposed to be for the entire family. She ate until she was full and took home enough for 2 more meals! My son got a cheeseburger from the kids meal and out came a 1/4 burger on a huge kaiser roll with a heaping pile of French fries. Our other son had asked for a side of fries which they forgot to order but there were so many fries we didn't the side order. They both just ate their fill on the fries that came with the kids meal. I also got 2 full meals out of my dinner. Mo, thank you for being so generous but you really should cut your portions back as they're almost obscene. As far as the food, the menu was very diverse with seafood, Italian dishes, steaks, salads, and burgers. You can find something for even the pickiest person. My wife had the Greek Seafood salad and said it was very good. Huge chunks of lump crabmeat, jumbo shrimp, and scallops. The veggies were all very fresh and the dressing, served on the side, was quite good. We were all quite pleased with our food. Service was friendly and overall good but they did forget to bring the side dish that was supposed to come with my meal and they did forget the side order of fries as mentioned above. I was a bit surprised that the tip (15%) was added to the bill as we were only a four top. The family and I ate here on Easter Sunday. I must say that after reading previous reviews this restaurant has received, I was a bit concerned but am generally willing to give any place a fair shake. I was actually pleasantly surprised. The service was fine, if just a little rushed. That could be attributed to the fact that the place was pretty empty so the waitress didn't have much else to do. My choice for dinner was a seafood alfredo pasta dish with shrimp, scallops, and mussels which was absolutely amazing. My niece made a reservation for her birthday and they just cancels her reservation stating they are overbooked. Why make the reservation in the first place. It is her birthday, a special event. They don't even try to make other arrangements. They could have changed the time or something. Plus there food isn't all that great anyway. The steamed shrimp are always over cooked. My Red Hat group had dinner their tonight. When we go out for dinner, we like to try new restaurants. I will not be suggesting we go back to Mo's. Two of us had to send our dinners back for failure to prepare it as ordered. I ordered the 6 oz. Filet Mignon medium rare with a side salad. The main course was served to me only minutes after the salad was served. I had barely taken two bites of the salad when a large main course plate was being handed to me. The filet mignon served to me was barely warm and was well done. There was a hint of pink at the very center. I brought this to the attention of the waitress who took the filet back to the kitchen. She brought back a NY strip steak, not Filet Mignon. It was just a bit under cooked, but it was hot and juicy and I was hungry. If the dish had cost more than the $13 I paid for it or I had not14 other ladies there with me, I would have made a stink about not receiving a Filet Mignon as ordered. The lady across from me ordered her fish without any sauce or butter as she had just had a successful first week with Weight Watchers but it had to go back because it came out with a butter sauce on it. If you eat at this restaurant check your bill closely!! They automatically add a 20% gratuity to your check - even for a party of 1!! When you give them your credit card they come back with the slip and the gratuity is added into the total and there is still a place to add gratuity - so they are making you give at least a 20% gratuity. This place is just in a bad location. I went here for a friend's birthday dinner recently. It was during the NBA championship finals, so it was very crowded. The worst part of this establishment wasn't service or the food (although both of those things weren't stellar)- it was the PARKING! I've never experienced dining at a place that didn't have efficient parking for their patrons! If you don't get there early, you might as well park across the street (aka a super busy highway with a partition). Once the regular parking spots are taken, people started parking anywhere. There's only one way in and one way out of the lot. It is soooooo tight trying to escape! It's so bad I honestly would not come back here even if the food was delicious. It's just not worth the $200 paint job you'll have to cough up after having your car scratched up by others squeezing to get out. As for the food, we ordered the crab dip appetizer. The crab dip itself was pretty good, but the bread that came with it was as hard as a rock. Better to just eat it with a spoon. Three of us ordered the salmon imperial. That was always my favorite when I went to the original Joppa Road location years ago. This time around, it definitely was lacking flavor. The portion was good, but there was something missing. The potato wedges that came with the meal were pretty tasty. But my side order of rice seemed...odd. I can't explain it but it seemed microwaved or something. I know this wasn't the most positive of reviews, but if Mo's improved the food's flavor, lowered the prices a dollar or two, and extended the parking lot to accommodate it's customers, they might survive. Mind you she never introduced herself and I am identifying her by the number that was on the receipt. She visited our table a total of 3 times..other people brought out our food and anything else we needed. The times that we were approached by the waitress, she hurried us with drinks and food. Never asked if we wanted dessert and when my girlfriend asked for dessert she barked off ," no dessert menu but I think we have chocolate cake..walked away and the came back with 6 additional desserts... Went to Mo's last evening for dinner. Have been there about half a dozen times before, but after last night, will not return. Would give it a rating of "zero" if that was an option. FOOD: Ordered the steamed shrimp - which we've ordered before. The shrimp were much smaller than we've ever gotten in the past. Worse yet, they were not at all fresh, they were barely warm, and the quantity received was 40% fewer than used to be served. When we asked for dinner rolls, we were told that they were no longer being provided because the owner says the customers are "wasting them." RESTAURANT CLEANLINESS: All the tables were dirty and sticky. There are lights hanging over each table, and the dirt and filth on them is absolutely disgusting. This restaurant better hope the health department doesn't come in for an inspection. SERVICE: There were two servers, one of whom stood behind the counter on her phone the entire time we were at the restaurant. The server we had was friendly, but never actually asked if the food was acceptable. The main courses were served well before we had finished the steamed shrimp appetizer. This restaurant automatically adds a 17% tip to your bill. The service here is definitely not worth 17%. SUMMARY: Don't go to Mo's!!! read more

Went for lunch yesterday and had the worst fish ever! It shined because it was old and had been frozen too long! Originally, ordered orange roughy but after 30-40 minutes was told there was none! Place is old and has original bathroom. Waitress was the only pleasant encounter because manager could care less about my complaint of old and cold food. The $10 was a rip off for the meal and I didn't take a doggy box because it was that bad, including the roasted potatoes under the broiled fish. Couldn't complain too much because my friend was treating for my birthday. We will Never return or suggest to anyone to eat there.
