Service was not good. Food was bleh. We perceived this to be a managerial problem. Seafood bisque came out way after our simple sandwich orders. Seafood bisque was bland with fake seafood. Getting drinks took way too long. When mine finally arrived it was WRONG. I asked for a dirty martini and got salty gin! Manager was annoyed with our waitress - which is why we felt our service was not good. So I made sure to check In and give Mo's the lowest rating possible. If I could give a negative -0, I would! The crab dip , the shrimp Cajun chicken pasta was mediocre at its best. The crab was just dumped on top. The chicken was HUGE PIECES not cut. Presentation is key when you are dining out, the presentation wasn't even done by my godchild and she is 3. Then we had burger sliders they were ok. The bun was tough and hard to cut but if you removed the bread it was ok. I wasn't given any condiments for my burger so I just ate the meat, cheese and lettuce. We also had brocolli that by this time I had asked to speak to the manager. Who pretty much told me what would you like me to do. Since most of the time their broccoli is sent back because it's not cooked enough. So serving me over steamed broccoli that's soggy, bland and the same color as my celery is ACCEPTABLE at this establishment. My wife took our sons and I for my birthday this past Monday 2-10-14. The server sucked, the food just room temp especially the cream of crab. Even my 3yr old was able to eat the soup without even blowing on it. Our entrée did not arrive to the table until we were ready to leave, which was like an 1hr later. There is really no point in placing a review on this place because the manger was rude to my wife after we told him about the service that was provided to us. And on top of that the tip was like 18% that server did not even deserve. My tip to that female server find some other line of work. 3 of us went for dinner. The service was terrible. Our waitress was working 3 tables, and we literally had to shout across the restaurant to get her attention. She never checked on us and when the food was brought out, after 30 minutes, it was cold. We asked for the check and even after the bad service there was a $14.00 tip already on our bill. We asked for the manager to have the tip removed and was told they can't remove it. I don't mind tipping when the service is good but this waitress sucked, and has no reason to do better if no matter how they treat you, they get tipped. Extremely slow service on a Friday night! I waited over an hour for a Carryout out! I love MOs seafood but waiting an hour is unacceptable!

Hubby got sick. Horrible service - couldn't find our waitress most of the time. I'd pass on this place.

This has to be my least favorite restuarant I have ever been to. I did not even want to give it 1 star. Not only did we (2 people) wait 50 MINUTES but our ceasar salad came in 1 big bowl with no salad plates and lots of dressing wetting the romaine lettuce badly. My fiancee strip steak was plain, my crab cake was plain we then to kick off the evening we were pleasantly surprised to see our check included gratuity of 17.04 % + a place to add a tip on top of the gratuity. I have never seen a restaurant charge gratuity for TWO PEOPLE. MAYBE A PARTY OF 6 BUT NOT TWO. And, to add a space for a tip is way, way over the top not to mention our dinner was nothing to write home about. Paying $100.00 was not worth it at all. I would not recommend this Restuarant to anyone. Go to Benjies Drive In would be more entertaining than coming here again AND LESS EXPENSIVE! read more

Cream of crab shell soup, every bite had a few shells. Asked the waiter if this was normal he pretty much said yes, told me that my crab cake wouldn't have as many. Well it did, and wayyyy too much breading. The crab shell cake was yellow because of all of the breading mixed in. Baked potato was depressing looking/tasting. Me and my wife decided to try this new location out being though it is closer to us than the one on Joppa road and tell u I was very impressed with not only my dinner which seem like they gave me more on my plate but with the fact they had a live dj in there. The food is always good at Mo's. We usually get the cajun grilled salmon over pasta. It is sooo good!!! Last time it was made too greasy and we haven't been back since. I've only done take out or sat at the bar. The restaurant is pretty. It has a metal look to it and they offer happy hour specials. read more

I've done reviews on other Mo's, so I thought I would try the new one out. Have only had time to pop in for soup and a drink. Service though was alot better than the other Mo's. Soup was good, but the bowls have gotten smaller. That being said, I remember when you could pay 3 dollars more for about half as much more, so 5 for what you get now is ok. No bread though. Haven't noticed the mandatory tip, which is NOT legal to do under a certain number of diners. Will come back for a full meal and give a bigger review. Hopefully they won't bring me the wrong dish like the other place. Have been back twice since, and great service, great food. Keep up the great work! They took off my favorite soup, the seafood bisque. They pretty much have lost my patronage as a result. read more

I have been here multiple times, and the food is usually hit or miss. You do receive a large portion for your money, but you never know if it's going to taste good. Drinks are usually pretty good, sometimes they are a tad bit to strong, but who want weak drinks? LOL Usually I only go for the Karaoke night & the drinks. It was an odd experience at this mo's seafood. I have been to mo's for years in downtown off president & pratt street. That one is great, especially the carryout section. This one, different. We went there for brunch. We both ordered a crab soup, in a cup form. So when the waitress came out with the soup, she said, "sorry, we don't have the crab soup in cups, only in bowls today." Uh?? I have visited this place a few times and always leave frustrated. Coming home from work on a Saturday night and I wanted to take my boys out for dinner. I called several places trying to get reservations but everyone had an hour or more wait... not Mo's though. We were seated quickly upon entering and they weren't overwhelmingly busy. We waited for a while before a waitress came over to get our drink order. We placed our dinner order right away. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and I was really looking forward to it. First bite, crab shells, second bite crab shells, third bite...see the pattern here. It became less about tasting my food and more about not consuming shells. My stuffed shrimp was not the jumbo shrimp that I'm used to, but three medium shrimp with a super shelled up crab chesapeake. I tried to get someones attention for a while and when I did they did take it away. I was informed that became I ordered the stuffed shrimp I should have expected to get shells in it. "Expected" hmmm, should have but didn't. On top of everything I get my bill and they still charged me for the meal that I literally ate less than a 1/4 of. And 17% gratuity, that should definitely be adjusted, the service is definitely not worth 17%. read more

I have eaten here twice in the past two weeks. Both times our servers seemed very new and a little overwhelmed. The atmosphere is nice nice and very open. The first time I just got an appetizer (Buffalo Shrimp) I got 5 nice size shrimp with ranch and celery. The flavor was good but they were on the sweet side. Still cooked well and tasty. The prices are average which was nice. The 2nd time I got the Crab BLT. It was not the best crab cake I have ever had (no lump meat very mixed up) but it tasted good no shells and it was a decent size. I could only finish half of it. I asked for tartar sauce which I never got, but that was probably for the best. All in all a good experience but the down sides: They do ad gratuity I think 17% to all orders even bar tabs, the food was good but not exceptional, and servers were nice but seemed very new and a little confused. Mo's in White Marsh is too expensive, bad atmosphere, and terrible service. They ran out of Turkey on Thanksgiving along with running out of baked potatoes. Our Server got our drink order wrong, along with not getting soup for one person who ordered it. I am very shocked at Mo's Seafood. Tonight I went out with my brother to celebrate him graduating and we ordered two orders of snow crab legs. They come out with the food, we're eating it and as I'm going on to pick up one of the legs, I seen a long piece of hair. So I bring over the waitress to address the situation and I was told that they were going to make a fresh batch and she was going to talk to her manager. she comes back with one small crab leg on a big ass plate, meanwhile, I was just getting started on my food and I had a bunch of crab legs left so they took my food as well, I found a piece of hair, they took majority of my crab legs and came back with just one and they tried to have me pay full price for the meal. So I called the waitress over again to address the situation and to tell her I was not paying for the meal because I didn't ask for a hair with my meal!! She went to go talk to her manager and adjust my bill and they only took off six dollars. I didn't even eat the crab leg they came out with the second time and then they forced gratuity pay on me so I had to pay the waitress a tip even though she disappeared after giving us our food and we needed her a few times but she was nowhere to be found! i've had a problem with Mo's Seafood before when my food came out freezing cold as in ice freezing cold! oh wow where do I begin. the food is cold, especially the baked potatoes, we ordered crab soup and it appeared to look like they splashed it all over the place before it got to us, we inquired about crackers for the soup or bread and were told they were in the oven, we did not get any until our entrees arrived. The service is horrible horrible horrible. did I stress HORRIBLE!!! The waitress acted like she was doing us a favor for coming to the place. Attitude was nasty. My family went there to celebrate my birthday 4/5/14 and we got there at 4:00 so there was no rush no crowd and surely no good service. This restaurant is awful. We came in and sat at the bar and after sitting a few minutes I couldn't determine the smell that engulfed my nostrils. Was it mildew, sour rags or what? The bar area is filthy and has wet paper towels that resemble soggy rats all over the floor. It smells like fresh collards if you ever had them you'll know it's a horrible stench. Waitress was nice but the place needs a health department inspection. They ran out of Hennessy and we got here before 7pm. Where they do that at? To say it's subpar would be a compliment so let me say I won't be coming here anymore. The cream of crab soup was as thick as mashed potatoes with 4 pieces of thin crabmeat in it. I'm sitting here with a scarf covering my nose due to the stench of the bar. Let me recommend that you close down and do a serious professional cleaning and throw away all those dirty rags you're wiping everything down with including the floor. I'll stick with Mo's on Joppa Rd. It's clean, professional, and they have the drinks I like and don't run out of top shelf liquor. Went on Friday evening. The place was almost empty. I got the "special", crab cake on top of fettuccine alfredo. Also got the cream of crab soup. There might have been a tablespoon of crab meat in a gluey bowl of what tasted like wallpaper paste with a touch of fish flavor. My first thought when I tasted the crab cake was that it was spoiled. Then I realized it was just a weird flavor. No old bay, no seasoning at all! My husband said it must be that pasteurized canned crab. It was so bad I couldn't even eat it. First time EVER that I couldn't eat a crab cake. The fettuccine tasted like pasta in a garlic cream sauce. No hint of Parmesan cheese. Fried oysters were good. We came from Philly and ate here last night. There were five of us. We were early so the place was not crowded. We had terrible service, mussels were not done and after we sent them back we never saw them again, food came randomly and two of us did not receive entrees until we protested, The woman's room is dirty, cramped andbe prepared to hold the stall door closed; the food was mediocre, cold, or never appeared. They gave us no discount and just made feeble apologies. The tip is included in the bill so you can not even choose not to do that. We will NEVER go here again. read more
