My first visit here today and it was bad, I got a crusty old waitress who was rude and in a hurry.Then after 20 mins I got my Veal Parm sand,it was bland and tasteless as the server. So I got a cheese pizza to go and it was so so.That was my last visit at this place! read more

Crazy good pizza at an incredible price. Sauce is the best we've had in the country and we're from Chicago. Crust is crispy and thin, cheese is prefect, not chewy. Will absolutely come here again... Probably would travel over an hour to grab some. Cheesy garlic bread was great also. read more

I finally found Good NY style pizza in Homosassa! Thin crusted veggie pizza was very tasty as was their meatball parm. Situated in the Winne Dixie shopping center, Moschello's isn't fine dining by anybody's standards, but they do offer good food at a reasonable price, and the wait staff is very attentive and quick to be of help. read more

I couldn't love this place more. The food is outstanding! My favorite thing is their pizza, but they have so much to choose from! Appetizers, salads, pasta dishes, wings, pizza, etc. I've had a lot of amazing pizza in my life, but Dave makes it the best. As another user mentioned Moschello's is located in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you, try it once and the food, staff, and atmosphere will keep you coming back. I've never been disappointed with Moschello's, and in Citrus County, that is a rarity. Also, they decorate the whole restaurant for every single holiday. It's really awesome! read more

I think it's just okay but my family loves it. It's thin pizza which some people really like.

I tried Moschello's for the first time tonight and I am so disappointed. First of all, the women who answered the phone acted as though she didn't have time to take a carry out order. My first question was if they delivered in which she replied "no" and almost hung up on me until I told her to wait and that I'd still like to place an order. After that she had trouble understanding a simple pizza order and then told me it would be ready in 25 minutes. Once again I had to tell her to wait and that I had more items that I wanted to order. Moschellos is reasonably priced but so not appetizing. First of all by the time I got my pizza home the crust had already started to harden, upon opening the pizza box I noticed it sort of smelt like dog food. The meatballs are not homemade and almost taste like cheap gyro meat. The hot buffalo wing sauce was literally a container of straight up hot sauce, old celery, and tiny side portions of the most flavorless blue cheese dressing. The buffalo wings were hard and just not very good. The entire time I was eating I was kicking myself for straying from my usual pizza place, Michael Anthony's. I will not be making the mistake of ordering from Moschello's ever again. read more

Stopped here for dinner after looking at the reviews. Walked in the door and it was crowded. (A good sign). The staff was very busy waiting on customers. We were seated at one of the last available tables. Our server took our drink order in a timely manor and returned to take our orders. We asked her opinion and she made several suggestions. We had the vegetarian pizza, chicken and egg plant parm and shrimp scampi. Food was very good. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. Our drink glasses were never close to empty and she checked on us several times to see if everything was to our liking and if we need anything. Hat's off to our server. The entire staff was working the same way. The management here must put a high priority on customer service. Kudo's to the owner. I would definitely recommend Moschello's. A gem hidden in the corner of a Winn Dixie shopping center. I very pleasant surprise. read more

We had the calamari and the mussels marinara. It was awful. The calamari was rubbery and lifeless. The marinara was watery with no flavor. We also ordered the garlic knots they were burnt and hard to chew it was like they just reused old knots. Will never order this again. Terrible read more

Best pizza hands down! If you like NY style this is your place. We live about 45 minutes away and will drive just for the pizza. Used to live in Tampa and missed this place- better than any pizza (outside MA or NY, or Naples) that I've ever eaten. Other menu faves are their house salad & dressing, and garlic knots. read more

After a week of seafood, I was ready for something different. Chose this place because the pictures of the pizza looked good. This place is in glass front strip mall. It seems that is where corporate ends. It struck me as a mom and pop shop. Great salad, my buddy had spaghetti and meatballs which he devoured. I had the supreme pizza. It was loaded with toppings. The cheese was very good on this pie. The crust could have been a bit firmer but overall a very good pizza. Great service. I would definitely go back for more. read more

Came up to visit my mom and was jonesing for some pizza. Homosassa isn't exactly a major metropolitan city, so I had my expectation-meter set to anything-better-than-Domino's. and, I getting the pizza as take-out. Place was humping. Good sign. Friendly service, ok, so good so far. Hold that thought, because I have to say I'm a bit biased towards the people of Homosassa and surrounding areas. SO much nicer than south Florida. So when I say friendly service, it could simply be a fortunate byproduct of the area. I'll take it regardless. General rule of thumb, pizza is better eaten right as it comes out the oven, so how it tastes when you drive back can be a barometer of how good it is. Ahhh, good news, the pizza was way better than I had anticipated. Got to my mom's place and the crust was still crispy! Crust nicely golden, clean sauce not over flavored, fresh mushrooms, didn't scrimp on the spinach, and the cheese actually had flavor. What a pleasant surprise! Would I go back? Hell yes! So now, when I'm up visiting my mom, I now have a go-to place I can count on for tasty pizza. Now, if I could just get some of that Homosassa Hospitality for take out I'd bring it down here and sprinkle it around like fairy dust! read more

Excellent Food we had a Meatball Calzone, Veggie Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza and a Spinach roll. All were perfect. Pizza crust was Crispy and the sauce was excellent. We grew up in New York and I recommend this place. read more

My God this pizza is good! Have only had the vegetarian, that's all I could ever ask for! The crust is awesome, usually I hate the crust. It's crunchy in all the right places and the cheese tastes like actual cheese that is melty and delicious! We ordered three large pizzas, two pepperoni and one cheese. The pizzas were huge, and the place was very busy even on a Monday in the spring. The restaurant was very clean, our carry out order was ready on-time , and the cashier was very friendly. The sauce and cheese were great. It's not NY pizza but it's very close. The service is great everyone is friendly. A lot of Bucs pictures and autographs. One of the best pizza spots I have been to in florida. They have very good wings and decent food also. I try to stop in every time I'm in the area. read more
