Forever In Bloom - I had a beautiful full bouquet! Thanks Dean!

Amazing flowers, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and Perfect results!!…read more We used Forever in Bloom for our wedding, as they were recommended by our venue. Logistics there could be a bit tricky, so we really wanted someone who new the location. Are we glad we did! From beginning to end, the process could not have been smoother. We worked primarily with Shelley, and she really made the entire process, from planning, to more planning, to more planning, to even more planning still, to deliveries, to pick-ups, to clean up, to our final dried and framed bouquets, a breeze. She was really patient with all of our questions and changes. In the end, the flowers were PERFECT! They did an arch for the ceremony, lanterns for the aisle, flowers for the tables, wedding party, and even strung bistro lights outside for the reception. They had plenty of good ideas, although it really was my wife's vision, and they made it come to fruition with precise execution. The end results were stunning. We will definitely use them again if we need flowers for anything! Thank you for making our wedding an amazing day.

Since I live out of state, I spoke with Dean on the phone about what I had in mind, and emailed him a few ideas. He understood exactly what I was looking for, and created a sample bouquet for us to see. We were married at the Stone Mill at the New York Botanical Garden, and when we arrived at our wedding we were blown away by how incredible the flowers complemented the venue. My bouquet was so outrageously beautiful, and perfectly matched the floral archway we were married under and the stunning centerpieces at our reception. Working with Forever in Bloom was a seamless, easy process, and the final product exceeded my expectations!

Having a restaurant in the hotel was convenient. The food was decent and priced similar to other local restaurants. Overall it was sufficient for what we needed. 3-4 stars depending on expectations. When in my room, I tried to turn on the lamp and it did not work. The rooms are rather dark. I called the desk and they sent someone who ended up swapping out the lamp. My fitted sheet was not fully covering the mattress and I made the mistake of going by the headboard to try to pull it down. It was not clean back there and I could see hair and I looked away as fast as I could. In the bathroom, the faucet was so tight it took me two hands to turn the water on. Then came the worst part- the bed. Holy moly it was bad. My feet were higher than my head. The bed must have been broken? All of my pillows were the feather type ones that smush flat. I called the desk to see if I could move to a different room for my remaining nights. They said they would not know until the afternoon if they could swap me. That would be well after checkout time, so I would be forced to stay another night in the same room if they could not move me. I packed up my stuff and checked out. I did say the bed was the worst part...but I had told the desk what happened. No one really did anything, never got a call from management...to me, that is not really forgivable. Not sure I can stay there again. $258 and I would have been happier and more comfortable sleeping in my car.

When we complained we were told that the kids were quiet when they were in the theatre, but were running around outside the room. Thats a problem! But actually we were in the last row of the adjoining theater and we could hear them in the room itself. So there is that. We all also thought it was unusual to exit the theater and walk-through the main bar/lobby to leave and see one of the staff men sitting at the bar with an undershirt tank top on. First of all it isn't the summer, but even still aren't they expected to wear their uniforms while on duty? It was very unusual.

I'm not complaining! Loved the large extended leather chairs, great sound and truly what seemed like a private showing -- I mean we're talking 'small,' as in 'tiny!' Pretty cool! The only negative was the fact people (adults) sat on the one side and let their kids go ape $#*! on the other side! Remember, this is a SMALL venue. It reminded me of what I hate about a similar cinema in Pleasantville -- a lot of privileged people on their phones, feet on the chairs, talking... but I digress! Anyway, I can't wait to go back and see something else, and hopefully in the same theater. If I see kids again, I'm getting my money back! I really want to know if the other theaters are the same size or larger. Assuming larger! Oh, parking was brutal -- almost non-existent!

Long lines were forming because it's such a novelty when it is reopened for about 10 minutes of every hour. My kids were turned away, even after walking up all the stairs. The food area was disgusting and dirty. Only one person was responsible for making the food and running the register. He kindly also served the food to tables. However, the floors and every single table were disgusting. Nothing was wiped the 2+ hours we were there despite not being busy. Finally, there was no soap in the single person bathroom by the new section. I don't mean the soap dispenser was empty. It looked like a soap dispenser had been ripped off the wall and zero accommodations were made for a simple pump to be on the sink! Truly disgusting. Right next to the "employees must wash hands" sign. Why renovate a place and make it nice to let it go to waste like this? Disappointing.

It took every ounce of my self restraint to not smack this kid. The staff was advised and did mostly nothing. They were no where to be found despite the fact this place was PACKED. I've been to other sky zone facilities (Ridge Hill - central Ave - etc) with better overall supervision and oversight. Just because you're in Mt Kisco doesn't mean you should shortchange the customers on staffing. I wish I had read the previous reviews stating that the older kids bully and push around the younger ones - COMPLETELY true. Terrible and will Not Return !!!

But for a nice celebration, dinner with friends, or when you're looking for a beautiful setting and excellent service, it's definitely worth a visit!
