They sent two strapping young men to move my hair salon. Finished in under two hours! Nothing was broken( I've moved personally a lot and know this is rare). Very efficient, on time, professional! You get what you pay for. The two stars are for them working extra hours and through a sand storm. Otherwise, worst movers I've experienced. They didn't review what I needed to move, like other movers in the past, and therefore didn't send enough staff. One guy was extremely rude and dismissive, while the other was nice but seemed like he has never moved anything in the past and was constantly being coached by the other guy. Things were broken, our bed wasn't re-assembled correctly and has since cracked irreparably. Suggestions: Whomever is quoting these jobs needs to take a clear inventory and send enough staff. It's not the clients job to do so. You are setting your team up for failure, and the customer up for misery. read more

Most Valuable Moving 10/10! Moved from one bedroom (house) to a studio apartment. The men were punctual, professional, move with a purpose, wrapped items/ used blankets to protect furniture. Impeccable attention to detail when loading their truck, when handling the items/ boxes, unloading. I love how they handled every box/ item with care; no shortcuts that would jeopardize the integrity of our belongings. Nothing was broken or had missing pieces. Great communication: professional, polite, respectful, and friendly. Communicated the day before scheduled moved, day of when arriving to pick up site. Synchronized communication among themselves when handling my belongings maintaining situational awareness of their environment ( stairs, sharp corners, uneven terrain etc). The cost/ value was reasonable. I'm very pleased. After that move; I booked them again that same week!! I look forward to booking with MVM in the future! A friend of mine recommended me to them I was reluctant on hiring new movers but eh i went for it unfortunately but I appreciated the friendly service and the fact that everything was done in a timely manner. However I was disappointed to see a $40 charge for what felt like an unnecessary fee just to wrap tape around my blanket that had items in it. Additionally they accidentally broke my $400 Oculus and lost the cord to my 75-inch TV which is really frustrating. Now I have to spend more on replacements than I did on the movers. Hate to post this because, as others have said, the movers were friendly and accommodating. And this was the second time I've used them - first time was a breeze. But this time, they arrived late and took an unplanned lunch after loading the truck, despite warning them that this would push us into afternoon traffic. The driver didn't listen to me, and the resulting midday traffic we hit caused my bill to jump up 50% ($300) beyond what was quoted. Even the driver understood what happened and got on the phone with the owner to reason him down, but he refused to take accountability for the completely avoidable delays. He was dismissive of the evidence documented on my invoice, and eventually ghosted me. Not the experience you're hoping for during an extremely stressful life event. read more

Finding a company to do local moves in my rural area can be hard. I'm glad to have found Most Valuable Moving. To be honest, I have a couple caveats: the office is in Beaumont, but the moving truck is in Riverside, so you'll pay for the crew's time from Riverside. The movers were nice, but they're young, so they spent a lot of time texting people. I don't remember many moments when one of them wasn't using their phone. That can be frustrating when you pay by the hour. I appreciate that they wrapped furniture in plastic - that kept my things safe. I wish they'd taken the big wad of plastic wrap with them rather than putting it in my garage. It filled my garbage can - lol! One piece of furniture was hard to remove from a room. One of the movers suggested that I leave it behind. I had to insist that it could be moved, even if it took time to figure out. I was paying by the hour, so it's not as if I was asking them to figure it out for free. After 40 minutes and a bit of damage to the furniture and door jam, the item was moved, and all was well. I will recommend this company to friends. The movers were genuinely nice, and they did work hard. My move was done in 3 hours. I paid for 6 because of the distance for the truck. I'd also recommend that customers are active parts of the move, as I was, just to help troubleshoot should that be needed. read more

So grateful for how flexible, patient and understanding this company was because closing our escrow turned into a bit of a back and forth circus with when the official closing and moving date would be. Marquan and his movers were all very nice and accommodating. They had a solid plan and worked pretty damn hard! We had 2 movers and I believe a 26' truck for a single story 3 bed 2 bath moving to a 2 story 5 bedroom 3 bedroom house about 15 minutes away and you really can't beat what they charge compared to other companies out there trying to start at outrageous prices and nickel and dime you for everything. At first I was a little hesitant hiring movers to come because I'm a woman and live alone but they immediately changed my mind. I felt safe and respected while they were in the home. They were fast, polite and well mannered. They had amazing stacking skills and my whole apartment fit into one truck. But I do wish they would have sent more than just two guys out to move all my stuff because it was a lot. They did wrap my furniture but after careful inspection while unpacking I noticed a lot of my wood furniture which was previously in prestine condition was scratched. I think after a certain point they were just too tired and got careless with my belongings. They dropped some of my boxes that said fragile on it.
