The last 5 nights I've stayed in several motels/hotels, some of them only one star (all of which were under $70) but these places still had all of the amenities and comfort that this motel 6 lacks.. For $139 a night at this motel 6 has: no shampoo/conditioner No refrigerator No microwave No hairdryer No dirty clothes bag No coffee/tea No breakfast For $139 a night??? Whilst our room was clean, this is possibly the worst nights sleep I've had in any kind of accommodation. We arrived late (130am) and were allocated our room, although their payment system was down so we were told we could pay at checkout the next morning. Fair enough. Firstly, we were woken up every 2 hours or so when the aircon unit would go off like a fog horn - SO LOUD I COULD BARELY HEAR MYSELF THINK. Secondly, the button to increase the temperature on the aircon was completely broken so we were freezing all night as could not change to a satisfactory temperature. Thirdly, the front desk called us at 8am asking us to pay, even though we had agreed we would do this on check out at 12pm Midday. We reminded them of this and they said "Okay" (note this is 6.5 hours after we arrived, so we clearly hadn't had enough sleep at this point). Fourth, we had a staff member banging on our door at about 830am in the morning to "check the room". Fifth, that same staff member then tried to enter our room. Luckily the inside lock on our door was on, as we were fast asleep. Sixth, that same staff member came back at 930am banging on the door to "check the room" AGAIN (despite knowing someone was in there asleep given the bolt was on the previous time he came!). ...All the while the aircon unit is foghorning its way into oblivion. Hi stayed at Motel 6 Page AZ for 2 nights over the week of the July 4 holiday. The room was clean/adequate, the hotel itself was conveniently located with ample parking, and they had good ice machines (which is key at this time of year with the heat). However, I believe they grossly overcharge for what you get. $165 a night is highway robbery for this location and for what you get in terms of the quality/comfort of the room (the rooms are basic/bare bones) and amenities (there are none besides a working TV and an ice machine). The staff at the front desk was unhelpful and unfriendly. At check in, the woman gave me the wrong directions to get to my room. After I fount it, I called the front desk a couple times to try and order wake up calls (the city of Page is on one time zone wile the Navajo nation and most of the tours are on another time zone, so I wanted to be sure there was no mix up as I had very early tours scheduled) and to ask questions... but the phone rang and rang and rang. When I finally went down in person, the staff were rude and unhelpful. Also, I didn't like that I had to sign a security waiver when I signed in (or forego my reservation). What was worse was realizing that they leave the motel doors completely unlocked around the building (there are various entry doors around the building, not just the one by the front desk). When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, the response was "well, people need to walk their dogs and be able to smoke." My response was "they have keys - why not lock the doors and then if they forget their keys they can come around to the lobby entrance?" Their response was to stare at me and say nothing. I asked to speak to the manager and they handed me her business card. When I called the number on it, I got the front desk of the Motel... i.e., the same staff who I had just been speaking with. Talk about getting the run around. One other small complaint is about the air conditioning. I'm glad they had it... but each room has its own A/C unit and it's not only noisy, but you can't control the direction of the air flow. Temperatures were well over 100 degrees during my visit, so to get the room comfortable, you had to set it at a very low temperature. This meant I had freezing air blowing on me while I slept (if I turned off the air and/or down the temperature the room got too hot), which dried out my eyes and throat, and was uncomfortable. I have worked in mental institutions; the room felt like a room in a mental institution -- no carpet, every thing bolted down, bare minimum of anything (including NO shampoo/conditioner). Shower is some sort of triangle half-size version of a normal shower. The wi-fi didn't work Oh, and the front desk issued a group of people OUR room, so they walked in on us while my kids were in the bath, and my wife was in her underwear. These are the memories we were hoping for ... FUN! And for some reason it was really expensive ... This place sucks like a black hole. read more

For $40 a night in the off season this place was a bargain. Bigger and cleaner than any other Motel 6 I've stayed at, the only downside was the on-and-off wifi. Fridge and microwave in the room, laundromat and free coffee in the lobby. Breakfast would have been nice but I guess you can't have everything. read more

Didn't love this motel, the worst budget motel I stayed in during my Southwest vacation. Not terrible, but just a cheap room at a not-very-cheap price. Staff wasn't very good, pillows were flat, AC was loud, pay-WiFi, and that typical Motel 6 outfitting that's slightly depressing and somehow a cut below Super 8 or other budget motels. Clean room, clean hotel with a European Feel. For one night in Page, it was super. Even has a nice pool, for those who'd like to take a dip. It's a motel 6, so it's budget. Get over it. Felt safe and secure. Slept well. Thumbs up to front desk staff, who were attentive when needed. read more

We stayed there for one night after driving from Las Vegas to Page. The person at the lobby was not very friendly, when we asked for the price. It was not very cheap (160$). The room and the bathroim were clean. The motel is okay and it's only 10 minutes away from the antelope canyon. The only thing that didn't work well was the Wifi. read more

Stayed here for Easter Weekend to spend time with family. Room was over $100 with tax, could not sleep because neighbors were hitting the wall, laughing loud, screaming and banging on the walls all night to early morning. I have a 9 month old, was not very happy she kept waking up. Then as we were barely waking up, around 8am someone decided to smoke weed. The whole 2nd floor stunk. We rushed our packing to leave. We left by 9am, the smell was so potent, I didn't want my daughter to be inhaling that. Very loud and rude people stay there. Loud people laughing and talking in the hallways all times of the night. Told the front desk and she told me a lot of people were complaining about noise that night, she was just laughing telling me that they "tried" to find the room that was responsible. I'm sure it would not have been hard to figure out if they weren't lazy to find out who the people were. Then told her the incident involving smelling weed early in the morning, she just giggled and told me, " yeah, I think they were young people. It might be the same people that were loud last night too" they basically did nothing but stay behind their desk. Telling me "their YOUNG adults" like I don't give a F**K if their young adults, it does not give them the right to be loud and be a disturbance to not just me but multiple customers!!! Will never stay here ever again!!! This place is a joke! Save your money and spend and extra $50 or $100 staying at the nicer hotels in Page. They have no breakfast, a small cramped elevator, the "security" doors are open for anyone to walk in, front desk is barely greet-able, the maids even knock on your door before 8am.... read more

When you rent a hotel in the dessert having an air conditioning is not a luxury rather a necessity. The rest area long the Highway has a better air conditioning than this motel so unless you want to suffocate from heat stay away from this place. I have informed the staff but little to nothing was done to resolve the issue and may I add the very first person I talked to was irritated to even listen to my plea. I want to thank the last person I talked to who was friendly and really tried her best to help us. One more thing the window doesn't open either. read more

Management and staff are not helpful whatsoever. I booked a room from a 3rd party site and accidentally booked the wrong date. When I arrived at the motel at 11pm at night I was informed that I was a no show and they had no rooms available for me to book another room. Fine, that was all my fault. I contacted guest relations the next day to see if I could get a refund since it was a honest mistake. They mentioned it was up to the motel manager but 90% of the time they can accommodate for the mistake. It has been nearly 3 weeks and I have contacted the motel over 6-7 times. Each time I ask for the manager and explain my situation the front desk person makes an excuse that the manager, Alice, is not available and that she will call back. I have not received any calls back and I even tried to email her but no response. Even if you cannot provide a refund, I would expect some professionalism and have someone reach out to me. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Shower was good. You get pretty much all the channels on TV. Pool was clean. AC worked well. Being the cheapest hotel in town, don't expect any extras like a refrigerator, breakfast, or even shampoo. which is all fine given the savings about $15-25/night over other hotels. Here are the problems. First off, the internet is horrible. Don't expect to be able to use the internet between 6a-10a and 5p-11p. The AC in the room is loud, so expect to turn up the TV really loud when the AC kicks in, and then having to turn it back down when it goes off. And that's not even the worst part. The walls are thin. You'll be able to hear your neighbor next door and the slamming of the doors as people leave/enter their rooms. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you are only there 1 night or a heavy sleeper, just hope you don't get a barking dog, crying baby, or loud talking neighbor within 3 rooms of your room. read more

Expensive place, slow internet, too small queensize beds. We are 3 lads on a roadtrip so we always book a room with 2 queensize beds. Beds were extremely small, can't sleep in it with 2 guys. Internet is extremely slow despite having perfect connection. Expensive for what you pay for. Has swimming pool but was way too cold for swimming this time of the year (May). read more

I give 2 stars because it was fairly clean. I believe we were given an accessible room, hence the huge shower. But the shower head was so unwieldy that I finally had to just soap up and have my husband hose me done! It was funny, but not what a physically challenged person would want. The wood floor was a plus since we could SEE it was clean. Only 2 pillows in room for 2 people, they were not very happy that we asked for another. Would never stay here and part of our strategy was to stay in two different cheap hotels since we might not want to return to the hotel after enjoying lake Powell, smart move on our part as our next motel in Page was great! Having stayed at Motel 6 many times before and always the same experience, super cheap room with uncomfortable beds and crappy standing-only shower, I didn't expect much and hated the thought of paying $100 for a night at Motel 6. But that was the cheapest option in town. When we arrived I asked to view the room, the clerk was accommodating, and we found the room to be quite nice, modern, no carpet (which was nice because at least it wasn't stained), and the room smelled and seemed to be pretty clean. Would have loved a mini fridge, and thicker walls, as we could hear everything, luckily I carry a fan to drown out excess noise, but overall it was far better than any other Motel 6 I've stayed at. read more

When you stay at a Motel 6 you have to expect a Motel 6. As far as those go, this one was a star. The room was a great size, had a TV, and a large bathroom. There was a microwave in the lobby that we were able to use since there wasn't one in our room. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again! read more

RUN RUN RUN!!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. First off worst customer service I have ever witnessed! Employees are unintelligent and have no clue their policies. They sent use round and round in circles with our reservations. Employee told me that she had better things to do than help me and blatantly asked why I was bugging her when she couldn't help me. I just checked in after a long hot day of hiking and discovered that there is no hot water in the shower. And all I want after a day of hiking is a HOT shower! Is that too much to ask/pay for?? Still waiting on the mysterious maintenance guy to address the issue. It doesn't matter how much this chain remodels it's still a Motel 6. That said, I paid for a room with the expectation of hot water. And while I just want to shower and rest, it seems now I will have to do battle with their Customer Service to remedy the situation. It's a Motel 6 so I'm not sure what people were expecting. This location was very clean and was a quick drive to the "downtown" of Page, where all the restaurants are located. There was free coffee in the lobby in the morning and check-in and check-out were both a breeze. My only complaint is that the walls were very thin and we could practically hear every word our neighbors said. We turned on the fan and it drowned the noise out so we were able to get a good night's sleep. I've never stayed at another Motel 6 before but I'm guessing the "bare bones" rooms are par for the course! No shampoo or anything in the bathroom, so remember to bring your own toiletries! read more

Stayed for 2 nights, meets all basic necessities. You have a bed, TV, a table and 2 chairs in the room. There is no closet space, just a coat hook stand with 6 hangers, very modern IKEA look. As any old locations, walls pretty thin, we could hear when our neighbors showered lol and the A.C. woke up my friend nightly, she found it quite disturbing, it didn't bother me. No hair dryer in the room but it is available at request at the front desk. No toiletries provides but a bar of soap, there is a sign prompting you to the front desk if you forgot anything, which we didn't need so not sure what is available. Clean amenities, didn't even check out the pool since we were always on the run, perfect stay for all local tours in Page, restaurants nearby, even Wal-Mart in case you really forgot something or like us, picked up breakfast items. No fridge or microwave in room, but there is a microwave available for use in the lobby area where you get coffee. Vending machine outside the building, again basic enough to not go wanting for more, didn't see any hole in the walls like other reviews, but then again we had room 325, a corner one. Don't do it! Between the plastic wood look floors and the paper thin walls you will never sleep! Every sound is heard. If you are lucky enough to be placed by the ice machine. Worst motel/hotel I've ever stepped foot in. Rooms were tiny, cold, sterile and uninviting. Bed covers were stained. Literally no amenities. Bed, toilet, small/awkward shower, and sink. That's it. Very small window. Girls at front desk were rude, rolling their eyes. When we asked if there was a free breakfast, her answer was a rude, "no." The room is over-priced. The other guests looked very shady and questionable and halls seemed noisy. We immediately asked for a refund and went across the parking lot to Super 8. Don't be deceived by this name, Super 8...It sounds ghetto, but is actually pretty nice. It's a freaking luxury hotel compared to this Motel 6. Our experience was so bad I couldn't wait to write a review. We literally checked in minutes ago, and here I am. Insanely awful. Go to Super 8. $109/night and we have a large room with TV, fridge, microwave, private patio, iron/board, desk, a/c, nice furniture, granite counter, comfy beds, free breakfast, gym, laundry, pool, vending machines. The stay was horrible. Our room had no shampoo or conditioner in it to start. We stayed in room 134. Talk about paper thin walls. We could not sleep at all. We heard the ice machine making ice all night every 15 minutes as loud as if we had been sleeping next to it. When the person in the room next door took a shower it was as if I had pipes running up and down my room. I took cell phone videos of my horrible night experiences to show the front desk upon checkout. In the morning housekeeping knocks and I loudly respond "NO THANK YOU". They still work their way into the room making me and my girlfriend really uncomfortable for that moment. I know they can hear me the walls are paper thin. Another reason I know that they heard me is the fact that I could hear me is the fact that I could hear them knocking for housekeeping on my hotel neighbors room as loud as if they were knocking on my door itself. So I had to endure waiting for 10 people to get "housekeeping" knocks on their doors. The A/C is a temperature setting so you cant drown out noise with it. I tried to do that. I would keep lowering the AC temp to try to combat the sound of the ice machine. By the end my room was freezing, loud, and uncomfortable. I was on a 8 day vacation with all of the other stays being 4 or 5 stars. This was horrible! Run! there are soo many other hotels/motels. We reported this on our checkout and the lady seemed not to care. She didn't say a word of apology. I showed her the videos. She just clicked on her computer and said she couldn't do anything because we booked thru "expedia". Well we used hotels.com and we contacted them. They issued us a $40 coupon but the stay was $159. They told us they couldn't refund because they never took our money and we did pay directly to the hotel. I contacted the hotel again 6/23/2016 which is a week after our stay and was told a manager would be calling me. Either way still waiting. save yourself a headache and avoid this place. We stayed at this Motel 6 for one night and thankfully only one night. The person at the front desk was completely rude. There were no shampoo or conditioner unless you asked for them. The swimming pool was dreadfully dark and cold and there were no towels available for when we got out of the pool. Later on that evening while my children were in the tub, the reception desk gave our room to another guest and these other guests walked into my room while my husband and I were in our underwear getting ready for bed. The room itself was small and felt like a hospital room. The beds were bolted to the walls and there was nowhere to put our things. The bathroom was tiny and there were tubes that held the towels. They only gave us 3 towels and the shower/bathtub was in a corner angle so when you are showering you are shoved in a corner. I would not recommended this hotel and I was completely dissatisfied. I've stayed at high end hotels and resorts. You usually get what you pay for. Of course staying at places like Motel 6 or 8, Travel Lodge, etc.... You can't expect the world. However, there are certain things that simply can not be overlooked . The motel 6 at Page Arizona had horrible customer service . On both days they forgot to replace the soap and cups. Both days! To top it off, they didn't even have the customer service to apologize. The bed was very old and worn, you could tell the springs were old and shot. They also promised wifi, but didn't deliver. Everyday they kept saying that it would be fixed the next day, it never got fixed. I would recommend any other place over the motel 6 in Page. read more

I made an account on Yelp to post about this awful motel. Incredibly bad customer service. DO YOUR BEST TO AVOID. Can't believe I paid the higher rate for what I thought was going to be better service. I arrived late at 9pm (after calling earlier at 4pm to confirm my reservation) to discover that they had mistakenly given our room away. I asked what the the problem was, and the horrible front desk woman and her incompetent sidekick informed me in a short and rude tone that I shouldn't worry about, the problem was in the past, and that I would be better accommodated with a complementary breakfast like that was the issue. I asked to speak to her manager and she informed me that she couldn't speak at the moment even though she just spoke with her. I could rant on for paragraphs but this is just my experience.
