Late night hunger pains led me here inside the Parlor! One of few spots open after 8pm Kiosk allows for easy ordering and cooks prepared comeback sandwich (weak stuff heat level) & fries fresh made to order. Appreciate the text notifications when order is ready too! Cluck sauce is tangy but good flavor for the sandwich. The chicken was hot and crunchy with a bit of flavor and not much heat at all... so yeah it was weak lol.

More disappointing than I had hoped. I got the three piece tenders to try out Mother Clucker, and the chicken wasn't nearly as crispy, spicy, or tangy as expected. It wasn't cooked consistently all the way through, so some parts were less bad, but other parts were dry. Overall, not a great experience, wouldn't recommend.

Mother Clucker did NOT play! I tried the Inferno Tenders and when I say the heat was REAL, it was real -- but in the best way. Perfectly crispy, juicy on the inside, and coated with that bold, spicy flavor that keeps you going back for more. The seasoning was on point and packed with flavor, not just heat for no reason. If you love spicy chicken and want something that actually delivers, the Inferno Tenders are a must-try. Mother Clucker definitely knows how to bring the heat!

Honestly I wasn't expecting much from a chicken joint but boy was i glad to he surprised, before we hop into that let's talk ambiance. The environment is what you would expect from a place that's conglomerate of different places pushed into one building in downtown Kansas city and just as many polo shirts as you would think as well. The service was excellent, the guy was attentive, friendly and excellent and prepping food quick and good. I picked up the chicken sandwich combo and I decided to dive in and get the hottest they have... and finally for once in the human forsaken city did somebody mean it when they said spicy! It was so hot i almost began to sweat, flavorful slow burn and I loved it. The fries were pretty stellar as well. Overall if you are in the area and want a chicken sandwich this place nails it.

The hottest level is VERY hot, I loved it, you won't

Chicken sandwiches are quickly becoming one of my favorite food types. Do use a dated, 2010's term, that might make me "basic", but I don't much care! I got the hottest spice level for my sandwich here and I was blown away and brutalized in a way I haven't been in years. I was left sobbing in a puddle, sore, and ready for snuggles...just like I like it. Translation for the prudes: the hottest spice level here is actually hot. You likely cannot handle it. It's at the same level as some places where eating hot stuff will get you a photo on the wall! (like Fire on the Mountain in Portland) I love that this place is embedded in Parlor, it's such a fun indoor foodcart concept. The self-service water station REALLY came in handy!

Located in the Parlor. This place is located upstairs and in the corner. You go the counter place your order and you will get a text when it's ready. I would recommend getting the tenders over all of the other options. If you are dining for two I would suggest one person getting the combo to share fries because there is enough for two. The cluck sauce isn't all that and would get the hot honey and ranch over it. Seasoning is good for th little bit heat and it was heat worthy.

This is a perfectly acceptable chicken restaurant. You can order tenders or wings. They come with your choice of heat: OG, Weak Sauce, Kickin' It Up, Cluck Yeah, Mother Clucker and What the Cluck? I'm not sure how they exactly do it, but it's almost like the sauce is baked on the chicken. It's good though, but beware, the heat can sneak up on you. Crinkle fries, slaw and other sides are available. Sauces are, too. I haven't tried the shakes yet, but they look good.

My daughter recommended this place. I didn't expect a foot court style setup, but more trendy. It is in a large building with several other food stalls, like a cafeteria food court setup. You get your food and they share a common eating area. There was also a bar upstairs and downstairs serving alcohol. A lot of people appear to come here after work. It's a nice relaxing place to go and get a bite to eat. There is a terrace upstairs to eat outside. The tables and area were clean and service was fast. The chicken sandwich with 4 heat was excellent. What can they do to a chicken sandwich to make it unique? My expectations weren't high. This thing was packed with flavor and heat. Chicken was tender and crispy. The pickles and sour coleslaw on top of the sandwich made the entire meal. The heat, the tangy, the sour... damn good sandwich. A lot of people were dressed well and mingling. I don't know how you could eat a sandwich of this magnitude and remain attractive to another human. It gets everywhere. The prices aren't cheap, but not over priced. The sandwich was huge. Good size pile of fries if you get the combo. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area and need a quick bite and rest awhile.

The chicken here is absolutely amazing! The comeback sandwich keeps me coming back often! This sandwich is the size of my face and never disappoints! They have a kiosk where you order your food and they text you when your food is done. The food is fast, fresh, and delicious! This place is inside of Parlor which is set up like a food court. It also has two bars one downstairs and upstairs. The 2nd floor bar has a walkout patio to sit in with views of all the mural art surrounding the area! I highly recommend this place!

Amazing chicken! My husband loved the spicy and I loved the weak stuff (mild). I really want to try the sandwiches next!

First Impression: This place is located inside Parlor upstairs and has plenty of seating around it. Beware parking can be tight especially on a busy night. It feels like an old school southern chicken shop was put into a very modern bar scene. Pretty cool change of pace. Food: So warning, they aren't kidding about "hot" chicken. I got the chicken sandwich in cluck ya (Blazin spice) which is like the 3rd hottest flavor. It definitely packs a punch, and I like to think I have a decent spice tolerance. However, the taste was still amazing. The savory seasoning made me want to keep taking bites regardless of the pain. The sauce is a nice touch to keep the sandwich from being too dry. Additionally, the pickles and cole slaw on the burger provide a nice acidity to contrast from the heat of the chicken. I think the bun was good but couldn't taste it much from all the flavors sandwiched inside! Final Verdict: If you are going to parlor this is definitely a spot to try. I'd go back for sure but maybe get a spice level down so I don't feel like I need a halftime break to eat my meal. Although, you know a meal is good if you still enjoy it while feeling the heat. 5 stars.

I got the chicken tender combo. It was super delicious with great spices and flavor!!

Fun looking and PROFESSIONAL cook and order taker that worked well together. Pick your heat level and how you like your chix strip/ sandwich prepared. They seem to have the longest and latest line around here. They'll take your phone # and text you when your order is ready. The cook who was busy cooking when I put my order in, knew later who I was when it came time for me to pick up my order. Uncanny and super duper neatness!

So like Joe K said, it's great to see more Korean chicken places in the Kansas City area. (S)KFC is…read moreamazing - the crispness of the chicken, the fantastic sauces. It's special. I'm excited just thinking about it. But oh man was I hoping for better. And I think this place could get there, if they can change some things. Joyce and Brandy laid it out well, so I'll just echo some main points: - The food could be better. Apparently it has been before. What I saw felt pretty low effort, the crispiness wasn't there. (South) Korean Fried Chicken is amazing because even with those delicious sauces, the chicken stays crispy. Best of both worlds! These wings were soggy. I didn't feel great after eating the meal. It wasn't ideal. - The service was nonexistent. I came up to the human at the counter, who directed me not to talk to her but to put in my order on the screen to the side. I hate these. I hate them so much. The UX on the terminal was clunky, the navigation in particular was so bad that there were whole sections of the menu that seemed to be missing. I now know to swipe left on the headers to scroll right to a second page of root-level categories, but be honest, just reading that in a sentence is confusing and annoying. Some people may like kiosks. That's fine! But mandating them is awkward and obnoxious. - I'm still on the service. There's a big menu. There are paper menus. There are little signs advertising fun looking items. I already know what I want. It is so much easier and more enjoyable to order with a real human and get their help. Why put the added friction of learning a clunky interface? An employee would be fluent in the system even if it's bad. And if my case is any indication, it's not helping their sales. I would totally have ordered more dishes if I'd known that was an option. It just looked like they were out so it wasn't available. - After putting in the order, I was prompted for a tip for the service. Which just felt like a coup de grace to my psyche. - It felt like there was no heart here. That's probably an ownership issue. I'm sympathetic to a point, it's not easy in general and there's a lot of pressure to cut costs (especially with the tariff arsonist disrupting supply chains). But the vibe here was dismal, you could feel it in the food and the staff. The space itself seems set up well to have large groups and good times. Could be a fun spot. But right now, the impression I get is that aside from the wings the kitchen does a lot of prepackaged instant food. So I'm not sure what they're trying to be - a decent wing place, or more of a fast-food/gas station type of spot. A vending machine with a deep fryer. Like I said before, this place has potential to be great if they can change some things. They're just going to have to want to. I'm rooting for them.

One thing that I love about this place is that they have a kiosk to order from. I love being able…read moreto scroll through a menu, especially when it's a new place with a lot to choose from. I found that very convenient and much more relaxed than ordering at a counter with a line behind you. We ordered the wing portion of Soy Garlic Chicken and Pork Dumplings. I have never had wings like this before. They were breaded, and just the right amount of saucy. I liked having disposable gloves as an option to handle them, that is a game changer for me. They were very sweet, which I am not the biggest fan of. They did have a decent amount of heat, which I was warned about from other reviews. It was the perfect level of heat for me, I don't know if I would try their spicy version. I thought the Pork Dumplings were the star of the meal. They were large in size and cooked perfectly. They had just the right amount of crunch and filling. The sauce that came with it was also on the sweeter side.
