Prices for what I bought were inline based on a Amazon search this morning but they are not the friendliest staff and it was kind of dark in there. First off my business with them was retail only, I did not go there for service. Having said that, definitely a healthy inventory for all your riding needs. I originally went in there shopping for a new helmet. I found a Suomy I really liked but it was a size to small. The front desk tried to locate the size I needed but couldn't find one. Nor could they tell me when they would be available. I ordered it anyway and went home. I got a call shortly after getting home and was told they contacted the Suomy rep and found out the only difference between the size I needed and the one they had was the padding in the shell. They told me they could swap that out from another Suomy, which they did and it fits perfectly. Very happy about that. I've since been to Motorhelmets 2 more times to purchase a jacket, gloves and visor. Each time they discounted my purchases saving me $ :) Would have absolutely no problem giving 5 stars but I have to be honest. You'll roam around for quite awhile before anyone approaches you to help, if at all. They are very helpful when approached though. I can live with this and Motorhelmets will continue to be my goto shop for gear. read more

Wow my first time here and they have a very large selection of motorcycle gear. I wasn't expecting to see so much and didn't bring enough cash, but they have everything from cheap to high quality gear. Shoei, AVG, Alpinestar, Dainese, Scorpion, and so on! And they also service bikes here too and their prices seem reasonable. Staff was friendly. I think I was in the store for over an hour looking at all the gear. Oh and I forgot to mention that the prices here is very nice. The Alpinstar Celer gloves are cheaper here than Revzilla. Plus I get to try on all the gear before buying. Big plus for me as I will be coming back here more often and maybe for services too. read more

This place is by far the best bike shop in all of Orange County. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I sold my previous bike a few years ago, but I would visit this place every so often for jackets, gloves, etc., and I would get my regularly scheduled maintenance done here as well. I just recently picked up an Aprilia RSV1000R, and my first thought was Motorhelmets. I'm going back on Monday to purchase some new gear that matches my bike. I can't tell you how many of my friends from my old club or whatever had bad experiences elsewhere (looking at you, Cycle Gear). I have sent this place so many of my friends that you would think I own stock in it. All of my friends who ride only shop here now, and I always tell them to hit up the manager, Ruben. He knows the products well and is always professional and helpful. If you need gear or service, this would be the place I would recommend. They don't charge ridiculous prices, hook you up with good deals, and you'll leave happy. Motorhelmets is the place to go. Like I said, even though I moved further away and there are other shops closer to me, I'm still going back here due to the rapport that the staff and Ruben specifically have worked so hard to develop. I wasnt to happy with the service dept. I went in for a diagnostic on Monday and by Friday they still hadn't touched or even looked at my bike. So I took it to a better place, Metric Method in Irvine. They looked at my bike same day and had the problem diagnosed in 2 hours. It's not like Motorhelmets couldn't have just looked at it and given me a diagnosis and then could've started the work later. So I may still get stuff and apparel from them I just won't use the service dept. read more

Really happy I went to Motorhelmets for my purchase. I had been looking online, and at some chain-store motorcycle gear shops, but I saw a Motorhelmets ad for a sale on Shoei RF-1200 helmets (which were on clearance because they were last years graphics) and decided to make the trip to Fullerton to check them out. I was able to get a top of the line Snell-certified helmet for almost $200 cheaper than I found online. Motorhelmets has a MUCH bigger selection of brands than I have seen anywhere except for online and the best part is, unlike online shops, you can actually try the helmets on and make sure you're getting a proper fit. Which is hugely important! Overall I highly recommend making the trip to Fullerton if you're in the market for a helmet, even if it's not the closest store. You'll save time and money, and get the right helmet for your needs. read more

These guys are great! Yesterday I got a killer deal on a Shoei Qwest and I really needed a helmet upgrade. Tyler and Jayce took the time to help me distinguish between AGVs and Shoeis and I feel that I'll be much safer in my Shoei in case of a collision. Even discounted the helmet cleaner I picked up. I was looking for a place to replace the visor in my Helmet. I live in LB and most places where I went pretty much shut me down by telling me they didn't have the visor and they didn't give me choices. I found Motorhelmets and I wanted to give a try even though this place is way far from where I live. As soon as I walked in, Neno rocked by helping me on what I was looking for. He gave me option to change the visor of my helmet. He couldn't find the reference we were looking for (since my helmet was 10 years old) but he didn't give up. Finally, I decided to buy a new helmet and Neno was very patient to help me find the right one. He installed the visor i wanted and offered me to change the old one if I find it online. Thinking about bringing your bike here to have tires mounted and balanced? Well let me tell they do it for cheap $25 bucks if you bring your wheel into them. For free they will even include misplacing your tires you bring in, "forget" about mounting them until you return at pick up time and to top it off not completely mount the rear tire on the wheel. This kind of workman ship could have cost an unknowing biker their life and the total loss of their bike. Here's the full story: I purchased s20's for my ninja 300 and had my boyfriend take the tires and my wheels into the shop. He dropped them off at noon and was told the tires would be done in two hours. Sweet no problem.. until my boyfriend returns two hours later just to find out they had placed the wheels in the back and "forgot" to do them. Wait it gets better! They come back and also asked what kind of tires he had brought in. Woo hoo my brand-new tires are "floating" around somewhere. Mildly irritated my boyfriend told them they were s20's and waited for them to find the tires and to mount and balance them. Phew, finally done 30mins later. Well I guess that's the end of it.. Not! A 30minute drive home just to discover the lip of the rear tire wasn't completely on the wheel! He drove another 30minutes back to complain and request they do their job correctly. Now after all of this wasted time and gas let me tell you what motorhelmets will offer you. No refund will be issued but don't worry they will issue you a certificate for a free mounting and balance for one tire on your next visit. Right, like I'm ever going back there again! And now you are forewarned fellow bikers! Ride safe out there and do business with shops that stand behind their work and value you not only as a customer but as a human being. read more

Been coming to the shop for a couple years now and never had any complaints until now. I dropped off my bike to get it running in February , I was told they didn't have time to start it for about 2 weeks which I didn't mind. I called About 3 weeks or a month later since I hadn't heard anything and they tell me that they still haven't gotten around to it . I've had bikes get serviced there before and I understand they have a lot of customers so I was patient and waited for a call I never received updating me on the bike. A little over 2 months pass so I call and ask to speak with the service manager , they said he was on vacation but they will get info to update me about my bike and give me a call back, I never received a call back so I called before they closed and they said I needed my carb rebuilt and they could order the part and have it on the lift by Thursday (3-4 weeks ago) and it would be ready about a week after they started. I asked what took so long if they could order the part in 2 days and they didn't have an answer and said they would have the service manager give me a call when he came back at the beginning of the week .It's now 5/24 and I haven't heard a single thing from them . My bikes been there for around 3 months now . read more
