I was looking for a specific type of helmet and I was told this place was wall to wall, nothing but helmets. Their website had TONS of helmets so I was very excited. When I got there, I walked in and no one said hello. The selection of open face helmets was no different than any other store I've been to and nothing I haven't seen. All the cool helmets on their site weren't there. Not even Troy Lee which was advertised on their front door. I walked around for 15 minutes, watched the sales people talk to the only other customer, and never got a hello or I'll help you when I'm done. Complete NIGHTMARE dealing with the SERVICE department. BEWARE, they will give you the run-around like you've never experienced before. This is not the way to run ANY kind of business. They will take your repair order and HOARD your bike just like the other 30+ bikes that's been there forever... Dropped off bikes for repair that was a 2 day job... maybe 2-1/2 days tops!... they started on the job but then... it was left open for almost 2 months!!! No calls, no updates, no ETA, no apology, no nothing... just a "we're working on it" week after week... I called at least twice per week and they gave me one excuse after another: "one more week to go" "only xx-hours left" "waiting for parts" "will finish it by Friday" "will finish it by next weekend", on & on & on!!! One week they'll tell you that they're waiting for parts... then the next week, they'll say they got the parts and already halfway thru the job, it'll be ready next week... Really??? Then... get this... the following week... it's back to: "we're still waiting on parts"?!?! (oops! A different guy slips on the actual update!) So I physically go there... and guess what? The parts had arrived asap... but it just sat there in a box and they "haven't gotten around to it"... So I asked why?... Their answer was... "well, we're getting a lot of new orders... so we didn't have time to finish yours..." WHAT???!!! So, new orders get priority over the bike that was dropped off over a month and a half ago??? Their priorities are so screwed up here, it will make you laugh. They will take you for a ride and take advantage of every last bit of your patience. Guaranteed to piss you off. The sales department seemed ok, but the repair department is complete trash. Have to physically go there if you want to check on the bike... but it will be in the same condition every time you go. It's not even in a position where the mechanic set it aside to take a break from it... or even look like it's been touched for weeks... but it is "stashed" in the middle of a huge pile of unfinished bikes in the back parking lot, or in the back of the warehouse. And if you look at the repair "board" they have in the back by the service dept warehouse door, it's always filled with bikes in que for repairs that are walk-ins from that day/week... who came AFTER your job from 1-2 months ago... and if you look at the back parking lot... it's FULL of bikes in mid-repair... I'm not talking about 10 or 15 bikes... I mean the entire half of the back parking lot full... more like 30+ jobs that are started on but never completed?!?! All they do is take on repair jobs... order after order... they'll tell you on the phone: "come on down! We'll take a look & have it finished within the week"... then, there your bike will sit... in the back parking lot... indefinitely. UNTIL you physically go there and tell them you want your bike & money BACK... then they will take another 1 to 2 weeks, at least, to finish the job. I bet they're notorious for this. I don't understand where all the good reviews are coming from. Really! They must be writing their own fake reviews! All the good reviews on here can only be from quick oil/fluid changes, race-prep, quick in & out type stuff... and maybe the sales department seems friendly... but the repair department definitely does not care about your time & will lie to your face. Unless you are ready to physically go down to the shop every other day to get any kind of real status on your bike and not some BS over the phone(if you're lucky to even reach the mechanic)... Don't bother. You WILL get jerked around and take 10 times as long to get your bike fixed. Service department has the absolute WORST customer service. HORRIBLE experience overall. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY HERE. BECAUSE THEY WILL. YOU WILL REGRET IT. read more

If you need your motorcycle serviced, don't come here. Most of the good reviews for this place are for their retail shop. The people who run this company do not understand the importance of customer service and communication. My bike was in the shop for almost 6 weeks(!), no updates. I finally had to call and ask what the status was - and after the manager got in touch told me that the bike was ready to go. What a coincidence! Who knows how long my bike was sitting there, and how long it would have continued to sit there if I hadn't called. Look at the other negative reviews. This kind of thing is not uncommon. This place is bottom of the barrel quality. I guarantee you'll have better quality service at any other repair place. A friend recommend me to this shop since they have good prices on tires and mounting but i was dead wrong about the customer service which is an intergrated part of any business. It just blows me away not once but twice when a simple tire order turns into a nightmare. Poor customer follow up and documentation. Once the tire was misplaced and cannot be found in inventory. Twice the tire was paid and sold to another customer. Apologies and alternatives can only go so far but that does not fair well with a lost customer with money in hand. My husband purchased a motorcycle battery and a few weeks later left his key in the ignition, draining the battery. So we went to purchase a new one and the front desk guy, Jace, was so extremely helpful. This review still stands and I would appreciate it if Yelp wouldn't HIDE it!!! Ok. The retail selection is great but layout could use some work. This review is mainly for the service department, don't even consider it. I had a problem which they didn't even solve. Yes I could have brought it back but my bike is my DD and I cant afford to have it gone practically another week (also they failed to complete the inspection, my brake pads went a week later scraping my rotors and now both now need to be replaced. A brake inspection is part of the service I paid for but after my experience I wouldn't even trust them to fix the problem for free.) After them "fixing" the problem they gave it back to me. My odometer wasn't working correctly but as I described to the retail cashier (whom somehow also is the service cashier) it was partially working. So they replaced the cable and deemed it fixed. Not only was it miss communication on the cashiers end but the mechanic clearly barely rode it and didn't correctly monitor the work. The tenths were in fact working before I brought it in which I described but the rest wasn't and still didn't work after I was returned my bike. I noticed the miles were exactly the same when I saw it in the parking lot on my way to pick it up and said something when I was inside but of course I was told that the mechanic was "at the gym" and would be back. I didn't want to wait around since I already had waited long enough and wanted to see if the odometer was actually working again. I drove off and of course the odometer wasn't working correctly like I assumed and decided that it was best I left the work to myself even though this was my first bike. I just assumed because since the retail store had a great selection and was probably the biggest selection I had in my area that the service department would be a great choice. I tried to set an appointment a couple days before but was told I didn't need one and that a Monday was slow. So I got a oil change and basic maintenance which consisted of chain cleaning and lube, a couple other things, and an inspection. I asked how long and they said 3 hours. I received a phone call almost five hours later saying my bike was done. During this call I was told my bike was ready and I asked if the odometer was fixed and to which I was told they would have to ask the mechanic. The mechanic was busy so I was told I would be given a call shortly. I missed the call and was given a voice mail saying that the bike wasn't done and it would be done Wednesday. Wednesday I received no calls so I gave the shop a call and was told it would now be Thursday. I called Thursday around 3 since I hadn't received a call and was told that it should be done soon and to call back if I hadn't received a call by 5. Of course once again I didn't get a call by 5 so I called and was told my bike was now done. If you read the paragraph before you know They yes changed my oil but failed to complete many other tasks. If you want some gear, yes this place is a great retail spot. They have tons of selections with nearly every size but please avoid the service department. I guess they just assume that you don't really need/want your bike and that you can afford to wait around for so-so service. I don't know if they sell bikes or if they are just currently working on 20 bikes. I was there over a week before I had my bike serviced to buy gear and noticed the same bikes out back when I dropped mine off. read more

Great place to shop for your motorcycle stuff. Great staff, Great work. They don't try pushing you to buy stuff you don't need and if you ask questions, they will give their honest opinion. I had many times where the staff would say "yeah... bang for the buck, I say you go w this one" (and point to the least expensive one) or "Honestly you are just paying for the brand name... I would recommend the other brand. It basically does the same thing" They will try to find the best product for your need. Ruben (GM) is very knowledgeable and if he's not sure he will research before giving you the answer. Their mechanics are great and down to earth with no BS. They will always give you an heads up if they find something that starts to show wear. giving you an estimate on when it needs to be changed. It gave me an option if I wanted to come back later or if I wanted to fix it on my own. (instead of "oh man, you need to fix this right now!! scare tactics.) Just try it out yourself and see what I mean. No sales push, no unnecessary fix. Just make sure to call them before bringing in your bike, if you need to get something fix right away, as they can get pretty busy sometimes. read more

I was looking for a 2014 helmet (RF1200 Marquez) and no one seems to have it in stock. I found Motor Helmets website and noticed that they are local. I called them and they informed me that they have what I was looking for. I walked in and was greeted nicely. The person I talked to on the phone took initiative to hold the helmet for me at the front desk which was nice since he didn't have my contact info. I was really surprised of how much stock they had of helmets and everything else. They had all brands, designs, colors, and sizes. No other store had this much inventory. Upon ordering the product, the man on the phone was completely incapable of answering questions about the product and had to continue putting me on hold to ask someone else questions about a simple jacket. Once I received it and found the jacket too small, I contacted Motorhelmets to seek a return label which they did not provide. I payed the UPS fees to return the item and found there to be a %20 restocking fee which is of course, submerged deep in the lengthy return policy. I am a new rider so I need all the riding gears so my good friend introduced me to this establishment. I got my helmet, jacket, motorcycle backpacks etc. Ruben helped me out and gave me unbeatable prices like no other places (pay cash or credit no problem) however; today was disappointment. if i could give this place a negative star i would.....So I decided to order the AGV Guy Martin helmet from this shit all company back in NOVEMBER a XR-1400 back in early DECEMBER. I was told that the AGV would be in no later than 1st of the new year. well its fucking January 26 and no helmet and no real timeline from the shop on when i can expect it to be in.....as for the XR1400 same shit i spent $800 on this and was told it would be in around early to mid January......same bull shit when i call no real timeline on when i can expect my helmets to get to the shop. SO at the end of the day FUCK THIS PLACE!!! i spent about $1200 and 3 months later nothing is in my hand. No one from the shop seems to know anything about what's going on with the order status of my shit!
