I used to live in the area, so went here for a quick check-up and oil change. call ahead before booking because they're usually booked out a month. Also they'll upcharge and use technical language to upsell. Biggest issue was coming into another car repair service for a routine oil change, they found that the oil filter was installed incorrectly and has been leaking oil. i was a motorized solutions customer for about a year. they are generally fair and friendly people and do good work. during my last repair, the aux to my bluetooth adapter was snapped off and left inside the port. i was not notified of this until i discovered an inoperable aux port after retrieving my vehicle. the issue was repaired in my subsequent visit after adding it to my work order. this was most definitely a simple mistake made while working on my vehicle but the failure to notify me signals a lack of integrity and an end to my business with this establishment. read more

I had my vehicle there promptly at the time that it was scheduled and was told that it should be done in an hour. After an hour and a half I went back and it was still sitting in the same spot that I parked it in! I went inside and they said that "he had picked up the wrong ticket"! Ever since Philip's Automotive closed it's doors for good, I've been going here for basic needs like oil changes and tire rotations. They were recommend by the team at Philip's so I know I'm good hands. What I find refreshing is that they don't try to sell you on anything. They take stock of what may need replacing in the future and keep you up to date on it so that you can save up if you need to. If it's a critical they'll share that as well. This place was recommended to me by someone I trust. Unfortunately, that person could not have been more wrong. Took my car here in early June to charge my air-conditioning. They said they did. I asked them if they tested it. They said yes. Obviously they did NOT. When I attempted to use it the cold air lasted for 10 minutes. I took it back. They told me it was fixed. It was NOT. The owner or head mechanic then tells me "well if this doesn't fix it then it's your water pump", or some such baloney. Of course, that was going to cost a LOT more money to fix.. I've taken my cars to Motorized Solutions for years. I used to repair my own cars. I know good work from ok work and can tell good recommendations from money grubbing. Tyree, Chris and Holly -- they're not the only employees, just the ones I've gotten to know -- are knowledgeable and articulate. If they can't answer something, they say so, and then find out and get back to me. One simple example: Just yesterday I was in for an oil change and mentioned a possible brake problem, guessing that I might need my brake fluid drained, flushed and replaced. I had authorized them to go ahead of they found a problem. When I picked up the car, they said that wasn't the problem. How many shops would have just changed the fluid anyway? Worse: how many would have SAID they changed and just banked the extra $100++. my car didn't need it done, so they saved me the money I trust these people. You can, too! read more

They were professional and courteous to both me and my wife when we separately talked to them on the phone. After dropping it off for service, they called me back, having identified the root cause for the issue we were experiencing. There was zero pressure to move forward with a fix; they even offered that I could choose to do nothing on this particular issue, evidencing honesty. Best car service place I have ever used! I came here after multiple horrible/rude experiences with firestone and Goodyear. I came here the first time right before I was going on a 2000 mile road trip. I was in a time crunch and I called at the last minute for an oil change and they were able to help me out at the last minute, very quickly! I asked them if they could check everything to make sure it was safe for me to drive and they did and didn't find anything wrong. This was a nice surprise because usually when I ask that, most places find ways to tack on extra costs. (Goodyear and Firestone once told me I needed an entire new engine... I brought it here a few months later and my engine all of a sudden was fine..) I was so happy with the service that I came back for my next oil change/tire change out. They are so genuinely nice they actually just offered to give me a ride home so I didn't have to wait there or call an Uber! I definitely recommend motorized solutions to everyone. I couldn't be more impressed with the expert service I received from Motorized Solutions. I walked in after I began to hear a persistent rattle coming from a rear tire when driving over bumps. After the first shop I visited told me there was nothing wrong with my car, I went to Motorized Solutions. They squeezed me in on very short notice. Turns out, there WAS something wrong with my car. They replaced two brake caliper bolts that had actually fallen out and ensured all other bolts were secure. That is a VERY dangerous problem to have, so I am so grateful that they listened to my concerns and investigated the problem. What's more--they didn't charge me for parts or labor! Highly recommend them to anyone sick of dealing with sub-par mechanic shops. Great honest mechanic. I never felt I was being cheated and he worked to make sure everything was right. Fixed a severe gasket problem where my head bolts were stripped with my Toyota Camry and was very punctual with the service. He went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed test driving the vehicle for half an hour to make sure it wouldn't overheat again. Would recommend this mechanic to anyone. read more

Motorized Solutions informed us that the brake lights in our vehicle were sporadically working. Motorized Solutions recommended that the brake switch should be replaced. Motorized Solutions then said it could repair and replace the brake switch. After Motorized Solutions stated it had replaced the brake switch and confirmed that the vehicle was in a condition suitable for driving, we attempted to drive the vehicle home. We instantly realized the vehicle was not performing normally. Less than a mile from Motorized Solutions, the vehicle stopped and would not move any further. We were stuck on the side of the road for more than three hours while a technician from Motorized Solutions attempted to diagnose and resolve the issue. When we informed the owner of Motorized Solutions, Tyree Dolif, that he allowed us to pay for a service that was not only incorrectly performed, but resulted in a vehicle unsafe for driving, he did not offer an apology, and did not acknowledge that Motorized Solutions was unfit to perform a brake switch replacement. Motorized Solutions holds itself out to be an automobile repair company. However, its knowledge of automobiles is limited, as it incorrectly repaired and replaced a brake switch and as it allowed a customer to drive a vehicle that it left in an unsafe driving condition. read more
