Just before my warranty ran out, I called Jeep. They told me that there is no issue with compatibility. I called Lindsay back, and talked to the friendly service manager. He mentioned there may have been software updates. He also gave me two recommendations. 1. Bring the car to another dealership to have your radio fixed 2. Buy an extended warranty With respect to the service manager. I did take the car to Safford Jeep in Fredericksburg and they replaced the radio. No more problems. I did buy an extended warranty from my credit union, about half the price the dealership charges for a longer warranty. I want to thank the service manager for his suggestions.
