I assumed it would take a while to fix, so I didn't bother Anthony for a bit over a week. After playing phone tag for a bit, I was finally able to get in touch with him and get an update on the car. Overall it took about 3 weeks before I could get my car back, partially of which because Anthony had to send my compressor out to get rebuilt, and then after reassembly, the AC lines started leaking so he had to build new lines. Got the AC working great, and although a little pricey because of the R12, well worth the money.

I took my car to Pep Boys for an alignment adjustment because my car was pulling to the left. I…read moretalked to Diego in the morning and he seemed professional. After the alignment, I test drove the car and the car was pulling so far to the right that it was possibly unable to operate and a danger to the road. I needed to have my steering wheel at the 11 o'clock degree in order to drive straight. The alignment was worse after the job was completed. I met Diego again and expressed my concern. Diego then claimed that it was my tire wear and that I will need to purchase new tires, which was incorrect and a scam. He tried to sell me new tires. I took it to Toyota, my dealership, and talked with the advisor. The advisor and I called Pep Boys on the phone to discuss that it had nothing to do with my tire wear, but rather an alignment issue. Diego, my advisor, and I talked back and forth over the phone and I requested to speak to someone higher in charge. Diego stated that there is no available manager. During the conversation over the phone, Diego proceeded to hang up on me, which was unprofessional. I proceeded to take the vehicle to Firestone to measure my alignment after Pep Boys. The top diagram in the photo is my measurement after Pep Boys, where Diego claimed that the alignment is straight. After Firestone, my car was driving fine, which showed that it had nothing to do with my tires nor my tire wear. Also, over the phone, Diego called me by my first name. I work in the customer service field as well, and would never refer to a customer by their first name. I will not be returning to this business and would like to warn customers about possible alignment scams.

I try to get out of my way to finish and leave work earlier than usual and got there around 545pm... only to find out that it was closed. Turns out on Google maps, they just recently updated their hours to 5:30pm. I don't know if individual NAPA shops can just willy-nilly change their hours and not follow the main NAPA website hours... if they can, that's fine, but that means they're never be getting my business again for the waste of time they caused me. Cancelling orders, only letting two customers in at a time with no time limit. Leaving everyone else hanging. Drove two hours to get here. No one comes out to speak to customers for updates or instructions, no one gives any eta's for when the line will start moving. But wait, i remembered that there is a kragen store near my place, and so i went there to see if they have that particular bulb for my car, (which obviously they had, hello). Not so busy, in fact, i was the only one in the store. I planned to ask them if they could replace it for me, but i got so lucky that a friend who went there to get a bulb for his car just got out of the store. And so, i asked him if he could replace mine too, and he said, of course. Otherwise, i would have asked the guy in the store to replace it for me, if he would say no, he can not, i would return the bulb right away. Nevertheless, lucky experience, fast check out, hopefully the bulb will last forever.
