Just okay. I came for a quick pastry and it was all ready to go. The sandwiches looked good for a grab and go. I got the coffee eclair and chocolate chip financier. Eclair pastry was surprisingly salty. Their financier was okay. The passion black iced tea was good! Nothing special. They said there was no option for flavorings for their latte. Don't understand the hype. Maybe I didn't get the right desserts.

Variety of items to satisfy any craving. We always make sure to have breakfast here anytime we are in the area. They have a various savory breakfast items as well as sandwiches and sweet deserts. We had the egg and croissant sandwich, omelette with herbs and a couple of baked items. They were all very delicious. The omelette came with a mixed green salad and toast. Raisin danish was on point, just the right amount of sweetness. The croissant wasn't the best I ever had but still very good. Service was very efficient but I wish they were a little more friendlier especially the cashier. Perhaps it was because they were busy at the time. Plenty of tables outside and a few inside. Overall a nice ambience. Will definitely be back again on our next visit to the area.

Really adorable and delicious bakery and cafe! My partner and I went out for a drive and ended up here. He knows what nurtures my soul....sun and sweets! With that said...my mille fleur was delicious and the price point wasn't bad at all! His flan was enjoyable, but I prefer sweet over just about anything. Everything is baked fresh- you can tell. Staff was friendly and the line moves quickly even on a busy Saturday morning around 11am. There's indoor and outdoor seating. It's very casual. Order at the counter. They'll give you a table number. They bring it out. When we're in the area, you better believe I'm stopping by for another mille fleur!

Love this spot! Pastries, desserts and entrees are amazing, the coffee is delicious and authentic. Service is fantastic. The shop itself is super cute and has French and other gooodies for sale inside. Indoor and outdoor dining spaces.Enjoy your food there or drive to the Dana Point Harbor super close by(:

Great ambiance, food and service! I spend ~ 1 week per year in Paris for work and Moulin has all the menu items you'd look for in a cafe at European quality level you'd expect without the cigarette smoke...and much better service! Half chicken was great with fresh salad. Savory crepe reminded me of authentic order you'd have in Paris (not touristy). Espresso well pulled and flavorful. Will definitely become a regular here or at the other locations

This Moulin location at Dana Point was as beautiful as the city itself and we love that there is also a great selection of baked goods, sandwiches, salads, beverages like coffees and juices, home goods like the charming ceramic bowls straight from France and much more, and even French grocery items, here as well. The staff is very professional and full of positive energy. The tables outside are set in a picturesque environment with lots of flowers, some butterflies, and breathtaking views. A great asset to Dana Point!

Antoine and his entire staff are wonderful. Food is fresh and delicious- we frequent them often! Wish they had a loyalty program!

It's a small bakery and outdoor seating. The OJ was fresh squeezed and the iced latte was amazing. The croissant sandwich was good and comes with salad. The omelette was also good and the cheese they use is quality.

First time trying Moulin. I went on a Saturday morning with a friend. I ordered the egg with toast and an iced latte. The area is really nice. Inside the restaurant is a mini grocery store with niche European products. Things are a bit pricy, but considering the location, it's reasonable. Seating is mostly outside.

Great pastries and beautiful. Sandwiches and salads were already made and nothing special!

My favorite pastries and especially if you adore French Baked Goods! Best place! The location is right across Ritz Carlton and has an amazing ocean view! I like that you can park at Salt Creek Parking lot and just literally walk to Moulin. Definitely recommended!

$17 with tip for my burata salad to go and no utensils to eat it with. Some of the tomatoes weren't ripe and were hard/crunchy.

What is unique to this Dana Point Moulin location, relative to the others? ;) It looks beautiful like all of the other locations~!!

    Same as Laguna :)

Is it open on dec 24?

I believe the Moulin locations are open everyday until 3pm (except South Coast Plaza), even on holidays! They are super impressive... and oftentimes lifesavers!

There is a reason , The ambience The service The food The decorations- dishes , tea cups , orange juice glasses all match their decor makes you feel like you took a trip to France ( down to their tooth picks in the sandwiches ) We ordered the little basket of mini warm baked goods -they were tiny and delicious $4.99 for four . You could buy a dozen . We split the Chicken Breast Les Champs sandwich on their baguettes which was absolutely DELICIOUS!! We both had a plate each with out one dill pickle spear I tell you it was the best flavored not too thick and not too thin chicken breast - it must have had 3 pieces total with tomato and we had mini chopped red onion on the side but on the sandwich would have been amazing . I would have taken my other half home if I ordered a whole to myself . I can still taste that sweet flavor and we both cannot wait to go back . Service was excellent so thank you to everyone as we were very happy and we told them that and wrote it on our receipt . If you haven't tried this adorable little place yet , btw they do allow dogs on the patio as they have dog water bowls there as well if dogs are behaved and kept on the ground as they should be and not on the chairs or tables ( I have seen this before ). There are lots of tables inside , but to eat outside even during the hot temps they keep it cool was awesome!!

The ambiance at Truly Pizza was great and the staff was super friendly. The open-air patio made us feel like we were in Europe. I'd heard reservations were needed, but we went without one and only waited five minutes to be seated. Our food was excellent and the staff was very accommodating with my two year old grandson. We also learned a bit of food history: although Caesar salad is often thought of as Italian, it was actually created in Tijuana, Mexico, in 1924 by Italian immigrant restaurateur Caesar Cardini. We ordered the pizza, choosing from three different crusts. I especially liked the square and sesame crusts. Our favorites were the sweet-and-spicy pizza and the Mike's Honey pizza, both had great flavor combinations. Dessert was a bit more hit-or-miss for me. I could have passed on the ice cream with olive oil. Something about the combination didn't quite work for me; it reminded me of eating a salad with ice cream. Overall, Truly Pizza was a fantastic experience, with a beautiful atmosphere, welcoming service, and excellent pizza. I'd definitely come back for the pizza and patio alone.

The place is cute and open to air so there was a nice breeze in the summer heat. The food was not bad, but it greatly disappointed me and is overhyped. The pizza crust is too hard and the flavors aren't amazing. Unfortunately, it was not really anything special to me. I loved the salad though, that was definitely the star of the show. We also got floats, which was fun. Otherwise, I wouldn't choose to come here, but I wouldn't be opposed if my friends or family wanted to come.
