Really loved the surprise of finding this cafe in San Clemente with an Aussie heart. As an Aussie who hasn't been back in 7 years and just moved to SoCal, it's quite refreshing. We've enjoyed the menu so far, but found the tomatoes on the avo smash a little too tangy and sour since we're in such a wonderful part of the country for great produce everyday. Service has been lovely, we've only had takeout, but the interior is crisp and clean, very welcoming. In SC there is also outdoor dining. Can't wait for my next avo smash, hopefully with sweeter tomatoes, and will load it up with halloumi! read more

LOVEEEE the matcha!! I have tried the strawberry and the blueberry. 10/10!! Would drink it over and over again HOWEVER, it is pricey, around $8.50 which is sadly normal but why?!? Anyways, workers are friendly, they definitely give Cali surfer vibes. Place is clean feeling. I always get the matcha to go, but sitting in the cafe would for sure be a vibe! read more

Amazing find at Australian based eatery Bluestone Lane In San Clemente! The owner Kento is top notch service and displayed excellent hospitality. Fresh, bright white and blue decor. Outside patio is dog friendly and I look forward to bring my dog next time. I ordered the BL Burrito with wedges and an avocado toast topped with salmon. Wow! Yum! Great coffee and wonderful service! Our barista, Kento, went above and beyond to take care of us and recommended the best coffee options for us! The coffee was very rich and delicious. I grab a latte here almost daily. Their espresso and vanilla syrup are perfect. It's one of my favorite places because everyone who works here is great and welcoming, but Anika is so nice and really goes out of her way to make sure I'm happy with my order. I always enjoy talking to her and she's made some great recommendations. Try the chicken avocado toastie and don't forget a side of wedges! read more

I came to Bluestone Lane for the first time and was really impressed. For some reason I thought it was just a cute coffee shop, but they also have a full breakfast and lunch menu! They have a cute indoor dining area, as well as a beautiful patio. I love all the attention to detail, like the blue accents with the chairs, napkins and even the straws have blue stripes! I got their iced tea that was very fruity and refreshing (tasted a bit like the passion fruit tea from Starbucks). Then I shared the turkey bacon club with wedges. The club was delicious. I loved the pickled onions and the aioli had a delicious flavor. Even the bread was really good. The wedges really stole the show for me. They were the perfect level of crispy and seasoned to perfection! Also, major shout out to the staff, who are always extremely friendly, helpful and know the menu without hesitation! My wife, son and I stopped here for an afternoon coffee. My son had a matcha latte, my wife a hot chocolate and I had a hot brew. All three drinks were wonderful. My hot brew was served to me in a glass bottle so I could pour it into a cup. My wife and son also tried it and thought it was terrific --- a strong, flavorful coffee. My wife's hot chocolate was rich without being sugary. We sat on the delightful street side patio on a pleasant day. The indoor dining area looked equally pleasant with the signature blue accented decor. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful and made it clear there was no rush. While we didn't have food, the food options on the menu looked great and we'll be back for those. read more

Always a delightful experience and my go-to for a quick morning pick me up. Their vanilla oat milk lattes are amazing and the seasonal flavors are really yummy too. Food is alright but the service is always exceptional. Perfect for a grab and go caffeine fix or catching up with friends on the patio for brunch. I just moved to SC so I've been on the hunt for my new "spot" - I've been to this location a few times when visiting the area before so I knew it'd make it on my rotation. I came here for my birthday on 2/16/25. I had a birthday reward to redeem and it was my first visit. I didn't know what to expect but I happen to be in the area and so I wanted to give this place a try. I didn't order any coffee, even though it's a coffee shop. I still had coffee from earlier in the morning. I ordered food items off their menu. I honestly LOVE LOVE LOVE their sunshine burrito! My son loved it too that I wish I had ordered 2 of them! It had eggs, avocado, bacon, spinach and cheese. Their tortilla was really delicious too! Soo yummy!!! Their banana toast was loaded with lots of I believe almond butter, and some cinnamon spice on-top of the bananas which my son didn't like. It was fine though, I tried it and really enjoyed it. Both items were definitely worth the value or price. I will definitely come back here again. It's a great place to enjoy indoors or outdoors with a couple friends. They have area's for some who want to work and connect their devices/laptops to charge. I want to come back for their sunshine burrito and try their coffees. Service was AMAZING!!! Aesthetic Australian inspired coffee shop with great drinks and delicious treats/bites. First came across this place in NYC, was in town for vacation and saw their shop in San Clemente. Had to get it! Ordered an avocado toast and iced vanilla latte. My husband ordered a cold brew with oat milk. We also shared the seasonal white chocolate matcha, so good (definitely on the sweeter side). Everything was delicious and the barista was so friendly. A must try! read more

Bluestone lane is known for their yummy food and effortless California coffee shop atmosphere. I have been to the one in Orange and loved it so I was excited to try the San Clemente location. They were packed on a Sunday morning for breakfast! There is both indoor and outdoor seating available, although it is considerably smaller than the other location. My friend had the chai latte and I had chamomile tea and we shared a break lie board. There was a little hiccup with our food order from another server, but a server named Jack saw us having trouble, came to our rescue and really turned the experience around. I was so floored by the good customer service. Good customer service isn't about always having things go perfect, but turning a situation around and making it right and he did just that. The food was phenomenal. Highly recommend the brekkie board. The lemon curd over the granola and berries is chef's kiss! And the yogurt is creamy without being too sweet or too bland. My chamomile came in the most adorable blue tea pot. So fun. Would go again. read more

My new favorite go to coffee spot on Del Mar. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They didn't have a dark roast so they gave me a medium roast complimentary. They have to have five stars because my sister in law ordered 12 minutes before closing for a group of 12 of us and they were sooo happy to help! Great vibe inside with a big window. I wasn't super impressed with my protein bowl though! The elements are perfect but the guac was old and a little brown, one of the tomatoes had turned and I didn't find out til I chewed it and tasted that dirty/off flavor! The smoked salmon was delicious but I wished it had been easier to pair with the other parts of the bowl since it was just one long strip and I ended up tearing it piece by piece. Arugula was fresh and yummy and so was the feta (highlights) I love the idea of the bowl but a fresh bowl like that...shoudl be fresh i tasted a tea my sister got and it was yummy:) not sure on the other drinks! Would definitely come again though and maybe just order somethin else;) so close to our san Clemente camp read more

The avocado toast was priced way too high for what you get. You get 1 slice of bread, with smashed avocado with no spices or anything added to the avocado. A little bit of feta and some sliced tomatoes. There is a little bit of sauce added mainly as decoration. I added bacon to mine. My toast was around $20. The dish is not inherently bad, but for that price point I was expecting two slices of toast with at least something done to the avocado. read more
