I was told the replacement transmission they received was defective, and Ford is requiring them to remove it and tear it down again. During this time, I asked King Ford if they could provide a loaner or offer any assistance with a rental, but nothing was offered. It's disappointing, because the level of care seems to end once the sale is complete. The service experience has not reflected the "royal treatment" they advertise, especially when customers need support the most. Especially since I have been a loyal customer for years.

From the moment I called until I picked up my car, I had a great experience with Gerard's. I initially spoke with Frank and then Brian took care of me throughout the process. You can tell that they value their work even down to the waiting area inside the shop. There were freshly baked cookies and everything was very neat and clean. I feel like you don't often see that in automotive shops. They accommodated me quickly and were able to solve the problem with my trunk and I am so happy that's it's fixed. I was initially quoted an exorbitant amount down in Florida to fix it and so I am very happy that I was able to find a shop with honest and reliable mechanics!! They didn't have a tire in stock that fit my car so they ordered a tire for me to be delivered that same day. I was on vacation with my family and needed to be back to spend time with them. The problem was that I wouldn't be back until after they closed. So they allowed me to prepay and come after hours and get my key from a hidden spot. When I came to pick up my car I found the invoice and they had written a not on it. Apparently they had made a mistake and ordered the wrong size tire for my car. But in the shipment there was a higher quality and more expensive tire that would also fit. They had put that on my car at no extra charge. I am so grateful for these guys and highly recommend them.

Have been taking my vehicles to BR Oil Change for 2+ years, but won't be going back. They have made…read moreseveral errors, one costing me $800 to fix. First incident was summer of '23. While traveling on a road trip we needed an oil change in KY. It took them 20 minutes to get the oil filter off, they said it was over-torqued. Next up, took the SUV in and during the oil change, they over-filled the engine and it poured out all over the engine compartment. They apologised and wiped up around the engine. But on the next scheduled change they said the engine pan, front and rear seals were leaking, and sold me a quart of stop-leak. But then later I thought it could just be oil that didn't get wiped up from when they spilled it the time before. Anyway, checked the SUV oil consumption, sure enough it was leaking or burning off 1 quart every 200 miles. Took it in to my mechanic and they found the leak at the valve covers. My mechanic is very good, he says it's possible the overfill caused the leak due to high pressure if overfilled. Took my repair bill back to BROC and they said they never would have let my SUV out of the shop over-filled and denied me any compensation, not even a free change. So, "nothing they can do"! 'Bye bye, Blue Ridge Oil Change'!
