Not only are the prices insane here but the like to give food poisoning…read more I went to bowlero on July 3rd with four other people. their pricing (which we found out after) was priced per person per game, meaning 13 dollars x 3 games x 5 people, when we came to pay we were very confused when she said "you guys played 15 games ?" ... we immediately said "no we only played 3 lol" and the reason we played a 3rd game was because we saw the screen behind them say it was half off for the third game. Apparently if you want to do that you have to tell them before you even start and not after when you're paying. Instead of the total we thought that would be well under $100, the total came out to over $200. I went to replace my shoes for a smaller size with my sister in law (who is white and i am not) and I was standing with her as she got a different size, no one asked her any other questions and gave her the shoes but as soon as i asked for a different size the lady stood there and asked what lane I was in and had to make sure before I could get a different size.. I don't know why that mattered for me and not my sis in law but it definitely had a small feeling of racism.. I would understand maybe confusion if I didn't bring the other pair of shoes but I had them right there so she saw I was in a lane if i already had shoes. We ordered the pizza and pitcher combo which was not that good, you could still taste the cardboard it had come off of. I also ordered a peach paradise drink which no one made and I had to hunt someone down for. Finally someone (same lady as above) was found to make the drink but she insisted that she had to take it to the back. Usually i don't drink anything u less it is made in front of me but for some reason I did. And it seriously almost killed me. I am a diabetic and whatever she did to that drink sent me into extreme lows for 2 days on top of nausea. so in total for food (aside from the bowling price) I paid $42.00 for absolute BS. I will never return here again.

Otherwise, I usually find myself traveling going out of town to sing with my friends. This was my first time renting a room at the BLVD, but it was not the best experience. The Singa system that they use has a decent catalog of songs to choose from, but the ones that we were hoping for wasn't available. Additionally, the system lags when trying to queue a song. It messes up the tempo and the display of the lyrics for a song that's currently being played. The speakers sounded awful, so we had to take time out of our hour to have that checked out. The worker who fixed the speakers encouraged us to speak with the front desk, so we could get some time back for the maintenance. We were assured that we would get some time added, but that did not happen. We even double checked with the front before the original time expired. Afterwards, we waited for a while to see if it could still be resolved. My friend ended up speaking with the manager who explained to us that there were some technical issues on their end when they tried to add some time. I appreciate that the manager was transparent and asked us how she can improve our experience. While we could not be refunded, we received a gift card equal to the amount that we paid for our karaoke session. I'm hoping to come back to the BLVD for a better karaoke experience next time.

I decided to apply cause I seen that they have a few positions open last year in September and that's when all hell broke loose once I got the job. I found out that they have mice running around everywhere there all throughout the kitchen area . One time on my shift they found 30 mice spread out all stuck on different traps. The way they wanted me to clean the facility you might as well just say they don't want you to clean it at all . The soda machine area is always sticky when I first got there it was covered in ants, I brought it to my boss attention. They didn't do anything about it. I literally had to pull out bleach and hot water just to kill them and got pulled to the side for doing that but honestly didn't know what else to do and didn't want the customers having ants in their cups. The play area they have for the children never gets clean on a regular. That whole year I worked there it only been clean once. I'm sorry, a play area like that should be getting cleaned a little bit more than just one time for goodness sakes, kids play in that area. The lanes area are always messy and nasty . The lanes it self are always dry I had so many customers come up to me and complain and when I bring it to anyone attention it literally goes in one ear and out the other. It's not like the mechanic didn't oil them cause they do but the facility is on a budget so the oil machine that they use is so old that it doesn't really oil anything right any more . I also brought that to their attention maybe that's the problem cause the customers keep saying the lanes are dry and nothing. Over time of being there I built friendships with my customers and I'm sorry I have to speak up about this cause it's ridiculous. This facility needs a lot of work done to it and more positive and supportive staff on making the place better! I wasn't a fan of how the helmet smelled though and of how the smoke smelled from the GoKarts. It was my first time trying it out so I don't know if that's normally how it is. I also didn't get to try the batting cages because they were closed 15 minutes before midnight, even though they advertised this spot closing at midnight. The Laser Tag activity was a pretty big space and I didn't find it stuffy at all, which was good. The VR next to the Laser Tag though was stuffy but at least there was an overhead fan. I personally don't trust how well they clean and disinfect the head masks, that's why I didn't try it. The arcade area was pretty limited in terms of games but they're always a good activity to do as an alternative from the other activities that have lines. Didn't get to try the mini-golf or the "bowling" area due to time. I like the outdoor patio and the ambiance of the string lights when you want to get some fresh air. Lots of families seated wherever they wanted and kids had a lot of stuff to play around with. Looking to see how this spot will compete with Round1 opening up soon in the mall. The water cup station is super handy, but they didn't want to refill the waters near the end of the night and the cups also, so we had to ask at the bar. I like that there's a good amount of staffing here who were all working hard. There's a few bathrooms spread out in the place. Parking is big in the back, just gets pretty dark.

She was attentive, kind, and handled everything with such professionalism despite clearly being given a lot of responsibility. She truly stood out and made our experience better. I did notice that she was responsible for distributing food, handing out sodas and waters, and assisting guests all at once. It seemed like she was being pulled in many directions while other staff were not stepping in to support her. From a guest perspective, it felt like a missed opportunity -- not only for efficiency and service flow, but also for her personally. Alexis has the personality and skill set of a strong bartender, and it seemed like she wasn't being utilized in a way that allows her (or the business) to maximize her strengths or earning potential. She was essentially serving waters and sodas while having the ability to provide full bar service, which would benefit both her and the establishment. My intention in sharing this is truly positive. Alexis is a fantastic employee and clearly cares about the guests and the establishment. Supporting team members like her and ensuring responsibilities are balanced among staff would likely improve both customer experience and employee satisfaction. Place was not busy at all and there seemed to be 2 bartenders, two staff members, and one manger working. There are a few things I think would really help the business improve: To start off the customer service is below par, you don't get greeted or talked to unless you start the conversation off first. During our entire visit about 2.5 hours no one came and checked on us or ask us anything. Bartender was the only staff member who wore a smile and was extremely friendly throughout the visit. I would say some table touches by management or maybe having one person on the floor talking to people could not only generate more money but also better experiences. Usually I'm not the type to need most interactions when going places but this place definitely lacked it by a lot. Concerning the overall cleanliness of the building it also could have been a lot better. Restrooms were fairly clean but the tables themselves were very dirty as well as the booths. We had to ask twice for tables to be clean and ended up gathering them ourselves in order to sit down. The food was good though we ordered two pizzas some pitchers of soda and beer and some nachos. I do believe they should have a wider selection of food sold but I know most of the time that doesn't really fall on the management but more so the actual corporation. Price was also not too bad for food. For the actual bowling it was really fun I paid about $120 for about 7 people to bowl with shoes included apparently it was a special and you can bowl until they close. The equipment seemed really really old though I think this place is due for a remodel. The pins would fall on their own with no ball in sight, the balls would not go into the chute and instead roll back on the actual lane and get stuck and at times the whole system would just freeze and during those intense moments where we were trying to crown a winner the experience is just ruined. Overall the atmosphere was alright there were about 5 other family and they bunched us all up in the same booths instead of spreading everyone around to give people more space. The music was okay and the place didn't really scream fun. I think this place had lots of potential despite the age of the building by just tweaking a couple things which would make everyone's experience that much more enjoyable. Will I be back soon? Maybe not. Do I want to be back? Of course. Given there is basically no places in town like this I think this place has lots of room for improvement.
