When I arrived, I realized that all of the shoes online are not necessarily carried within the store. They did have one of the shoes I had selected. I was able to try it on and walk around the store. The shoes were very comfortable, and they had many sizes between 9 and 12 in stock. However, they did not appear to have many wide shoes in stock. So, I will ultimately make my purchase online, but it was nice to go into the store and try on one of my selections. All of the staff who interacted with me were friendly and courteous. I'll definitely consider returning if I need to try on a pair of shoes, but I'll probably continue to make my purchases online. UPDATE: I went home that night and tried to order my shoes online. The email coupon would not work. It said that the coupon had expired which was not the case. I then started a chat session on their website. I found out that the coupon would not work with the shoes that I was purchasing. Apparently, almost every brand they carry is excluded from the coupons that they email their customers (see below). I don't think that I'll be making another purchase at DSW anytime soon. Two were helping customers, and the third approached me but offered no assistance. A few minutes later, I watched the same employee actively help another customer, including bringing out shoes to try on. I ended up finding a pair of shoes myself and completed the purchase only because I had already spent time driving through traffic and didn't want the trip to be a complete waste. I told the cashier I was disappointed with the service before leaving. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations, and I doubt I will return.
