It's a small space so if you're worried about social distancing it may be an issue. However, the proprietors kept their face masks on and sanitized. We had homemade chocolate cake and peach pie. It was so good. As good as my mom made. I also had regular drip coffee that was excellent. Our friend had an Americano with coconut milk and said it was excellent too. OMG. This place is just pure joy!!! We visited before our Georgetown loop train ride and it just smelled so delightful, we knew we had to come back after for lunch. Let me tell you, this was the best lunch we've had in Colorado. We ordered a bacon grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and ham grilled cheese sandwich with chicken gnocchi soup as well as the fluffy coffee and peppermint hot chocolate. It was just the right amount of food and tasted like it was made with love! I have no idea what they did to make such simple meals taste so special but that seems to be their mission for everything they do (seriously, check out the freeze dried skittles. They are an experience in themselves). We grabbed two turnovers on the way out so we could relive the joy later. Their shop is filled with creativity and whimsy and so much warmth. Our barista/chef was incredibly friendly and made us wish we lived here so we could be friends and eat here everyday. This place is a must go!!!! They offer freeze dried sweets and have a wide selection of treats for every person. If you're in the area you should stop in to say hi and try the freeze dried puffs. Or if you like Jam they have a wide selection from apple pie to strawberry merlot. There's bound to be a jam that you'd enjoy. We were passing through Georgetown and needed a quick snack. We stopped at Mountain Mamas and we're so glad we did. We didn't try the coffee but their baked goods are fantastic!
